it seemed as though each and every day was getting worse for them, jackson didn’t believe that he was the one responsible for the series of murders that struck beacon hills, ( even if it was beyond his control, ) and allison’s family was conducting their own investigation, putting more of a strain on everything. being together was becoming more of a challenge, he cherished the small amount of alone time they managed to sneak in. his hand holds onto hers, he brings it to his lips and presses a gentle kiss to it. he scans his brain for any words that’d potentially offer her any sense of solace. ❝ high school’s only two more years, ❞ he says, it’s reassurance for the both of them. they wouldn’t be stuck in beacon hills forever, they wouldn’t constantly be torn apart. he knew they’d be together without fear or danger persistently threatening them. ❝ two more years, then we’ll go to college. it’ll be better, easier. we can wake up together one day. ❞
