Tethrien: Laugh
In the low light of the night, she could see the torchlight gleaming through the parting in the flap of his command tent. The slinking woman was a familiar presence here, a balm, a friend, a presence to ease the stress of the one they had come to call commander. A tilt of head was offered in acknowledgment from one of the patrolling Ascended guards, his fingers curling firmly around the blade sheathed at his side. It was a cold night.
She strode a if she owned the place, a carmine-haired cat come to stalk the grounds she claimed as her own. Her step lingered as she listened, pausing at the edge of the commander’s tent flap, her fingers alighting upon the hem. He was awake, that was clear enough by the flicker of light and the rustle of movement within, awake and no doubt bent over the spread of maps and tomes that took up the middle of his tent.
Like a dancer, she swept the flap aside and slipped within on pointed toes, the tail of her braid swaying behind her–scarlet against the supple leathers of her attire.
The guard paused, turning his head slightly toward the tent, long ears tilting slightly back. It was not long before the sound rose, the deep rumble of an earnest laugh and the muffled, arched reply of her sweet, smoky voice in reply.
Within, strong arms curled around the subtle power in her frame, looping beneath her backside and lifting her to settle astride his hips. Nimble fingers buried in the snowy softness of Tethrien’s unbound hair, mussing its fall further, and she leaned forward to butt her brow against his own with a wicked curl of painted lips.
From every wound there is a scar, and every scar tells a story. A story that says, I survived.

8, 11, 24 for both Tethrien and Gareth!
Tethrien
8. Are they a quick thinker or do they need time to sort through their thoughts?
It depends on what he’s thinking about. Battle/war is so familiar to him that it’s second-nature, so a lot of his decisions and puzzling in that regard is pretty reactionary by now. Otherwise, he’s not dumb, but he’s no scholar. Quick-thinking isn’t really his deal when it comes to a lot of stuff, especially in regards to other people’s actions. He prefers to mull, and sometimes… sometimes bounce situations and ideas off of people who are in actuality smarter than him.
11. What do they think of creation? Do they believe in evolution or do they believe in God? What is their religion like?
To deny the Light’s power would be to deny fact, that’s for certain. At one time, Tethrien served the Light, but he turned his back on it long ago. There are very dim, very tiny filaments that cling in horrible reminder, but he cannot manipulate their power any longer. The Light and its religious association are no longer for him.
24. Does your character have any enemies? If so, who and why?
I wouldn’t precisely say Tethrien has specific enemies, unless one considers his massive hatred toward the Twilights and those associated with him. If he was to find out about Sevarin’s continued state of living, however? Absolutely.
Gareth
8. Are they a quick thinker or do they need time to sort through their thoughts?
Considering the education that was stressed as Gareth was growing up, that sort of quick-wit was expected, and he lived up to it brilliantly. He has spent quite a bit of time warring, so knowledge in that regard is quite prevalent as well.
11. What do they think of creation? Do they believe in evolution or do they believe in God? What is their religion like?
As a very devout paladin, Gareth is absolutely religious. He believes in the justness of the Light and of the power it gives him, he believes in the power of those around him who are loyal to the Light, and he follows the teachings of the Church of Light.
24. Does your character have any enemies? If so, who and why?
Not really any specifically, partially because I haven’t RPed him in a long ass time, so he hasn’t had a chance. But, like many others, at this point I’d say the Scourge and everything associated with it. For obvious reasons.
20 and 30 for 3 of them, your pick.
20. If your character was allowed to murder one person without any consequences, who would that person be and why?
Avarien - Although he’s murdered quite a few people (many without consequence), there is a massive amount of animosity toward Kae. A bit of time spent away from him left Avarien in realization that he was actually treated like shit, used as a convenience, and in his perspective, tolerated so that there would be a way to get to Estiel. He was insulted indirectly, he feels, and is pretty sure that Kae believed he was pretty stupid. With events in Orgrimmar, Avarien has come to realize several things, many of which involve his self-worth and capabilities, and these are things he never felt around Kae.
Tethrien - Sevarin is a shadow priest of the Twilight’s Hammer who was responsible for Tethrien disappearing before the events of Cataclysm. Although when Tethrien last saw him, he left the priest as little more than a pile of meat, there have been strange and horrifying dreams resurfacing that make him believe that the priest may actually still somehow be alive out there.
Braegon - He does not know the man’s name, and he does not know where to find him, but Braegon knows that somewhere, someone sold him into slavery all of those years ago. The only thing he knows is violence, really, and the only way he could think to explain his outrage at that enslavement is to destroy the one that put him in that place to begin with. Of course, he has no idea that those who sold him were his parents; he does not even remember them.
30. If your character was forced to eat one thing for the rest of their life, what would they choose and why?
Avarien - Stuffed pretzels full of cheese and meat and anything else. They’re probably some of the tastiest things he’s ever tasted, and that’s reason enough for him.
Tethrien - It’s hard to say for Tethrien. For the longest time, he lived off of things that… really didn’t have much taste because it didn’t matter. Without a tongue and with deadened olfactory senses, eating was just another chore, and he never truly got why people got such pleasure out of it. After regaining his olfactory senses, however, he’s been savoring all kinds of different flavors. Homemade bread has a pretty special place for him, though, especially still warm and with a little bit of butter.
Braegon - There are these little talbuk sausages that Xivarra prepares, pan-fried in butter so the wrapping gets just barely crispy before covering them in sweet, sauteed onions and pairing them with bread, beer and potatoes. As much as he’s grumpy about everything, he’d eat those forever. Not that he’d tell her that.
