Hitsukarin

Nightmares (T)

Karin has a nightmare with Toshiro in it and she decides to call him in the Soul Society at an ungodly hour. Of course he picks up immediately.

A promise kept (E)

Karin is desperate and feels like all or at least most of her problems would be solved by sleeping a certain white haired captain.

Kiss it better (M)

Toshiro gets back from a mission, he is injured and exhausted. Karin is at training at the Fourth Division, she is fussing over him and tries her best to help. Isshin is a wholesome dad.

Till life do us part (T)

Karin had to give up her spiritual powers long ago, sacrificing more than she ever wanted to for her own safety and hope for a normal human life. A life with family and children, and one inevitably without Toshiro. She hadn’t seen him ever since, since sixty years and couldn’t until her dying breath. But children could see spirits, right? As in Toshiro kept looking out for Karin in secret all that time, waiting for her as he promised, not wanting to disturb her life, as he promised. But kids can be quite unpredictable.

To get lucky (E)

Karin hoped she could escape the weight of her arranged engagement when sneaking out to a party, but running into her ex-boyfriend, quickly complicates everything. It doesn’t take much for her old feelings to resurface, fueled by unresolved love, tension and a little too much alcohol.

Familiar love (T)

This story is really simple but sweet and intimate. It’s about love and fluff and kisses. No plot, just making out and cuddling.

“Hey stranger.” She greeted her visitor with a cheerful voice, not needing to turn around to know who it was. “You are late.”

“Hey.” Toshiro greeted her back, his hands finding Karin’s waist and sliding on the warm, wet skin before his whole torso got pressed against hers. “I’m sorry, it got a lot busier than I expected.”

Not your bed (E)

Who wasn't tired enough to accidentally end up in the wrong room and the wrong bed in their student accommodation, right? It's a bit crammed, but Toshiro refuses to be bothered by it, mostly when their lines with Karin are so clearly set, right?

Message sent wrong (T)

Sending a stupid message to your crush too late on a Friday night is such a cliché and Karin hates how it just had to happen to her.

Feels like home (T)

Karin moves into a new apartment and takes Toshiro to IKEA for a shopping trip. While picking everything that's necessary and assembling what they got Toshiro realises no amount of cushions and cute things would make him feel like home anywhere, contrary to a certain Kurosaki.

It doesn't mean love (M)

When you are a teen feelings are messy, making sense of them is impossible and how to make a situation even worse, maybe add the fact that all those feelings are for a Shinigami Captain when you are a damn Quincy heir. AKA Karin finds herself in a messed up teen love triangle, having to deal with her own feelings while trying to figure Toshiro's, listen to her own mind and being influenced by all kind of things she hears in high school.

Parenting is hard even for Shinigamis (T)

Toshiro is trying to teach his daughter an important lesson. Licking people is clearly bad. It is a no-no. Even in kindergarten. Even if you overheard you mom asking you dad about something like that the night before.

Decent

Some short, very nsfw Hitsukarin filth for its enjoyers! :) I don't know where it came from, some word repetitions are on purpose, some are not. Pure smut below. :)

Hot. So. Hot. That was all Karin felt. Toshiro sucked her nipple into his hot mouth, swirling his tongue over it, sucking gently then repeating before traveling to the other side. He kissed her chest. Hurried. Open mouthed. His lips brushed against her breast, tongue lapping at the hardened nipple then pulling into the hot softness of his mouth. She cried out.

His palms were on her hips and waist, steadying her, holding her, anchoring her in place before she could have fallen apart under his touch. 

Her hips rolled forward. Hot, impatient, needy. 

“Fuck. Toshiro.” 

His hands made her repeat the movement. Shaky, hungry, yearning.

She was perched on his lap, the little clothing they wore long gone, her wetness soaking him as she was grinding all over his length. He was hot, downright delicious against her. 

His mouth released her and moved back up to her neck, leaving wet, red and purple marks on her skin. She let out another cry, her hips jerking forward this time a little deeper and his hot, glistering, soft tip was pressing right against her. He hissed and his hands guided her down, increasing the agonising ache, the urging pressure against her entrance.

She was unable to stop herself from rocking back and forth, never enough to lose the pressure, too little to have him inside her. 

They were both breath and noise. Pushing and pulling, keeping him right there, right against her soaking heat. 

It was mind numbing, teasing in the best ways possible. Karin felt her mouth fall permanently open. She was dripping already, playing their little game until she couldn’t, until the need was too much, the hunger too deep, until their movements became too frantic to keep them small and his tip stretched her open. 

“Shit.” Her mouth was against his neck, eyes screwed shut, hands and arms holding onto him in desperation. 

She sank down a tiny bit more, only to have his whole tip inside of her then lifted herself until he barely was. 

Toshiro cursed. 

Karin lowered down again, a little more this time, easing him inside, coating his shaft in her wetness, always coming back up. 

His body was tense, so tense under hers, every muscle fighting the urge to push her down onto himself, to have her fully. He tried to hold on, it would come, he was sure of it because Karin’s thighs were shaking and her will power was at its limit too.

They kissed, messy and hot and frantic and Karin started to move. Almost deliriously swaying and rocking her body against his, never lifting, not bouncing, keeping him deep inside. 

She wanted to last but it was impossible. She was too turned on, on edge, finally having what her body and soul craved more than anything. Not coming fast wasn’t an option. Not when her clit was rubbing against him with every move. Not when his mouth was against her ear, sighing, gasping and mumbling her name. Toshiro’s heart was hammering in his chest, a stark contrast with the slow dance of his fingers on Karin’s back. Her forehead was against his neck and limbs were too heavy to try and move. He was still filling her, dripping out of her, satiating that particular hunger in her. 

“I’m never asking you to help me with that bra clasp ever again.” Karin managed finally, still relaxing against Toshiro. “We are so late.”

“Not sure what you expected after wearing matching, pretty, lace lingerie and not seeing each other for a month.” Toshiro rasped, peppering kisses into her messed up hair.

“Some decency.” Karin deadpanned, tipping her head for the next kiss to land on her lips. 

“It was pretty decent I think.” Toshiro grinned, too proud, very uncharacteristic. 

Karin glared at him, performative. She loved this side of him, the bold, daring, indecent, suggestive, ridiculously hot one. The one no one got to see only her. “Oh, god, shut up.”

 “Gladly!” His hands went to her hair, tilting her head a little more, looking at her before kissing her deeply, lazily. It was a look that didn’t promise anything good, at least not in terms of leaving their bed anytime soon.

In the morning after the last soccer game of the semester followed by a long night of celebration Karin is in a hurry and she picks up a white shirt from the floor, which is definitely hers, right?

“What are you wearing?” Yuzu stepped beside Karin, eyes wide, looks questioning, brows raised. 

“What am I wearing?” She asked back, tone flat, annoyed and frustrated as she tried to rush through the campus in the morning, possibly avoiding anyone from the sports department. “At least you could have said good morning before starting to mock my appearance.” Karin added with a sigh, rubbing her temple, preparing for her sister’s well meant but unnecessary comments on wearing yesterday's clothes. 

“It’s not that! Karin, I’m serious.” Yuzu grabbed her shoulder, stopping her in her stride. “What’s that shirt?” She asked again, giving a pointed nod, and Karin rolled her eyes, throwing her head back before looking down, checking her attire. She was too tired for this. It was the shirt for the women's soccer team for their university. Plain, white, loose. Wait a minute! It was probably way too big, a red logo above the heart… except it was blue. Blue. Like the universal shirt for the men’s soccer team. 

Her heart and stomach and jaw dropped at the same time to varying depths. 

This cannot be.

Without any comments her legs moved again, faster than before, taking her through the park with Yuzu in tow. 

“It’s… agh, no! Shit!” She groaned and remembered that the logo on the front was the smaller part of the issue, the one on the back which was huge and impossible to cover was the actual problem. 

At least it was not the personally issued one. She didn’t need to be branded like that. 

Not after one night, not even if her stomach did a thing when thinking about wearing his name, and her treacherous heart fluttered to the idea. “I just picked it up from the floor this morning.” She rambled, voice high, borderline panicky, clearly missing a few important details. How could she be such an idiot? Sure, she was in a hurry. Okay, she wasn’t until they were in and it was his fault. Well, technically he only got out of bed and wanted to get dressed but he was so distractingly pretty and hot with all her marks on his skin and they might have taken a lot longer than planned to leave his room. So, it's totally his fault. 

“What floor?” Yuzu squeaked, clearly scandalised, very invested, too smug. 

“Ugh, the dorm.” Covering her face with her hands wasn’t the best idea while rushing but her face was burning up. She couldn’t believe herself. Someone was definitely gonna see this and spread the rumours. 

A little out of breath, Yuzu’s grin widened. “Which dorm? Whose floor, Karin?”

Another groan. Undignified. Defeated. “Toshiro’s.” Her face was flaming, her heart hammering, and stomach doing somersaults. Her body was betraying her. It was one night! Okay, one very good night, and dawn, and morning, but it was one occasion and judging by her clumsiness probably the last too. He couldn’t even trust her to be subtle about it. 

“Hitsugaya Toshiro’s? Your rival in being a better captain to the teams, the annoying, always right, smartass, thinks he is too cool, borderline genius and definitely not attractive Hitsugaya Toshiro’s?” Yuzu cited, painfully correctly, all her previous insults to the definitely very attractive post-grad student.

“Oh, Yuzu, come on! How many other Toshiro are in the men’s team?” Karin looked at her twin, hoping for some merci, judging by her look getting none.

“I thought the two of you hated each other. Rival team captains and all that. How did you even end up in his… room?”

Ducking, Karin yanked her sister with her as they jumped behind a tall staircase to hide from a large group. “We went out, both teams together after the final games yesterday. It was nice, then somehow we were talking and ugh, the typical case of one thing led to the other… Oh, God! You know how it goes!” She slumped against the wall, her whole body burning hot rather from the memories than the embarrassment of being caught.

Her sister was grinning, like she already knew this would happen. “So you don’t hate each other anymore?” Yuzu blinked at her innocently, probably disregarding her misery on purpose.

“I don’t know. Maybe I never did? Maybe wanting to jump his throat was actually just wanting to jump him?” She offered. “But he will definitely hate me after this stunt. How could I mess up the shirts? He is gonna kill me. The team is gonna take me apart. His team is gonna tear me apart, the whole department will figure it out.” She was spiraling and finally earned a sympathetic look from her sister, who still acted like this was all foreseeable, like it wasn’t completely a shocker and definitely not such a big deal.

“Well, it was nice knowing you?” She shrugged and giggled while slowly sliding down next to Karin, bumping their shoulders together. 

“Yuzu!”

A phone buzzed and Karin jumped then pulled it out of her pocket. 

“Who is that?” Yuzu tried to peak.

“No one.” She instantly shoved it back to where it came from, all while trying to bite back the grin stretching her lips and spreading to her face, making her look giddy. 

Her expression said, it was definitely someone. 

And surely, it was Toshiro sending her a picture, a bit grainy and blurred, taken from a bit far, accompanied by a message. 

‘Nice shirt, Kurosaki. Blue looks good on you.’

Her heart both fought for its life and melted at the same time. And maybe, judging by the message, maybe they will be alright. Maybe she doesn’t need to move overseas. Maybe he doesn’t hate her after all. Maybe it's quite the opposite.

Drawing Karin was a reaaaal pleasure, while drawing Toshiro... I struggled. A lot. But scars all over his body... hell yeah 😝

What can I say... I'm not ashamed lol (well, maybe a little). But I'm convinced they compliment each other's freaks, prove me wrong 😤

Agreeing to crash at Karin’s place while he was on a short mission at the world of the living seemed like a good idea. Until exactly five minutes ago. 

He couldn’t even remember where Karin got the idea to test whether Shinigamies were ticklish too, and quite frankly they were. At least he was. Neither he could recall when his brain thought trying to escape the couch was a great plan, but he rolled over, essentially landing on the carpet, giving Karin an easy opportunity to keep up with her attack. 

“Come on, I thought you were stronger.” She remarked, straddling him, pushing back against him with ease as he held her wrist mid-air. 

“I am! It’s… It’s just not fair!” He groaned, breathing a bit ragged as his hands trembled around hers. “Quit moving around like that.” With a gasp he let go of her hands to grab onto her waist, trying to steady her. 

“What?” Karin, straightened herself a little, smoothing her palms over her bare thighs, below her shorts. “Did you leave your soul pager in your pocket?” She asked a little puzzled, studying his deeper than usual frown and parted lips. 

“That’s not the damn phone and you know it.” He breathed out, his fingers gripping her hard to keep her in one place. “Quit it!” He snapped when she gave a tentative roll to her hips, trying to see whether the shape she felt resembled the phone or not. 

“Sure.” Her brows knitted together with a sceptical look. “You-, You are not that big.” Now it was her turn to shake her head in disbelief and slight shock. 

She was left without an answer, Toshiro turning his head to the side, refusing to look at her, his cheeks flaming red, reaching down on his neck below his shirt. That was more than enough to see, it spoke louder than any words he could have said. Karin’s eyes widened, her cheeks equally heating up. 

“No way. You are kidding.” She whispered in disbelief, her eyes scanning his face, embarrassment and annoyance written all over his features. His hands twitched over her waist, she saw him swallowing before he turned back to look at her. 

“You want proof or what?” The heat spreading in her chest and coiling in her stomach was an unexpected reaction to his retort. And there she was sitting on top of Toshiro, wide eyed, lips dry and hung open, cheeks flaming and left speechless. Because quite frankly she did want proof. 

“Karin?” He tilted his head to a gentle angle when he uttered her name, careful, puzzled, tender. She took a shaky breath. Her silence was probably enough confirmation to him, because he pushed himself up to his palm, leaning onto it, while the other cupped the side of her neck. His eyes flickered, like he frantically tried to read her mind, figuring out whether he read the situation right. “Karin?” There it was again, her name, a bit louder, inquisitive, looking for confirmation. 

She licked her lips and almost whimpered when his gaze immediately dropped and followed the motion. 

“What if I do?” It was barely more than a breath, but he clearly heard her, because his eyes darted back to her mouth, wetting his own lips, a tiny sound escaping him. 

Leaning closer, crowding her personal space, his nose almost touched hers. He had a nervous but excited buzz around him. 

“Just tell me if it’s too much at any point, okay?” The words fanned over her lips, making them dry again, making her lean in, barely able to look at her under her lashes. She wanted him since forever. 

“Okay.” She mumbled, already a bit dazed from their proximity, but it was nothing compared to what happened after, after he closed the tiny distance between them, smoothing his lips over hers, kissing her gently. He sighed and gasped when Karin started to fidget again, their kiss getting overwhelmed and a little frantic, because if Karin wanted proof he was more than happy to give it to her.

I saw a trend on TikTok where a girl fixes her lipstick, smudges it, then the guy's hand wipes away the smudge, and then the camera pans to show the guy being kissed and looking happy. I love this trend, and it inspired me to create a small hitsukarin note-almost-a-fic-but-no!

With a soft smooch, Karin pulled away and looked at her work with satisfaction, looking down at Hitsugaya and sitting comfortably on his lap. Her lips, painted with bright lipstick stolen from Yuzu, stretched into a smug smile as Toshiro's face melted into pleasure in her hands.

He was all red. Literally, in every sense. On one side, his face was covered in a chaotic, clear and not so clear, red marks from kisses, and on the other, along with the influx of feelings and embarrassment, blood rushed to his skin, turning it the color of boiled crayfish.

Kurosaki giggled merrily, feeling the tingling in her fingers as Toshiro tried to focus his eyes and look at her.

In vain, by the way. His face was flushed, and his cheeks were cracked by a huge, satisfied smile that made him look like an inebriated drunk.

What else could you expect from him? His beloved girlfriend had just given him at least twenty wet kisses (he lost count after the third one), and now she was gently stroking his cheeks and hair and smiling at him with lipstick smeared around her lips. Who could blame him for losing his mind?

It was especially nice for Karin to look at him and remember that Hitsugaya was not just some boy in love, but a captain and a super-duper responsible person who only smiled once every hundred years during a planetary parade. Now, he was smiling foolishly, giggling for no reason and without stopping, and it seemed that he had regressed a couple of centuries in his development. Perhaps that was why he looked so happy.

"You have no idea how stupid your face looks right now," Karin chuckled good-naturedly, brushing a white lock of hair off his forehead.

After several unsuccessful attempts to put his thoughts together and relearn how to use his mouth for something other than kissing (for example, for speech), Toshiro just laughed in response.

— No, seriously, look at me, — Karin tried to catch his gaze, but Toshiro's eyes kept dropping to her lips as if magnetized.

— Damn it, Toshiro, can you even hear me? — she asked with a laugh.

— Eh? — he finally deigned to look up from her mouth and into her eyes. — What? — he breathed, chuckling.

— God, there's not a single thought in your eyes right now. Did my kisses really blow your brains out? — She giggled.

— Uh... yeah? Probably? I don't know, — Toshiro drawled cheekily, stammering. His attention was already focused on the desire to continue the kissing session, and he wasn't really interested in anything else.

— Who would have thought that it would be so easy to turn a genius into a clinical fool, — laughed Karin.

— I haven’t...yet...um... reached the stage..., — he said with difficulty, his mind periodically returning to her seductive mouth. — Not enough... need more...

— More kisses?

— Yes! — affirmatively, he exclaimed. —Yeah, more kisses,— he was already reaching for her with the firm intention of imprinting his mouth on hers.

— Oh, I don't even know,— Karin pretended to sigh, pulling away and putting her finger to his lips. — I like you better when you're smart. And now...

— Come on, Karin! — Toshiro drawled plaintively. — At least one!

— Just one? — She smiled at him mischievously.

— Well, it could be two. It could be more, — Toshiro whispered softly, forcing her to lean closer to him, his eyes glinting seductively from under his eyelashes, his lips curled into a crooked grin, and Karin realized that she had fallen into his trap only when they were already breathlessly kissing each other, their lips wet and clinging, and the mattress creaking softly beneath their weight.

After all, there was more than one idiot in love.

  Summary:

A story in which two souls break for one night, for all the wrong reasons and mess up an already complicated situation, knowing there is no scenario where it ends happily.

It's decades after Karin and Toshiro parted ways and still almost a decade before Karin goes to Soul Society. When parting ways, in secret Toshiro took on the task of looking after her family, in case anyone possessed strong spiritual powers. Karin's granddaughter Katsuki can still see him even as an adult and she is so much like Karin, probably too much and Toshiro wishes if she wasn't. He wishes that hollow never attacked her and the rain stopped and he didn't make the second biggest mistake of his life.

This is a spinoff for my series 'Till life do us part', not part of that timeline at all or that original story, but I wanted to write this so bad.
