I just had to take out my first round of loans for law school and changed restaurant jobs in the same week, and then a blemish on my arm got so infected that I had to take medicated baths and get on antibiotics and now I am home sick with what I’m diagnosing as nervous system collapse. I hosted our first knitting circle last night! I knew everyone but no one knew each other, and it went really well! We picked the date for our next knitting hang already.

in our ranks we have a doctor, a librarian, a butcher, an environmental scientist, and a future lawyer (me). The projects were, respectively, a pair of socks, a baby blanket, a pair of shorts, a tank top, and a sweater. I envision a lot of good discussion and problem solving in the future from this group. I feel grateful for this club!
