So. I translated the Orokin text on Lyon's decorative fabric.. and I hate it.
One word sadly is under the attachment point for the fabric & it's hard to know what the letters are.
The text also wraps/loops, so I can only assume that it translates as follows, looping back around to where the attachment point for the fabric is.
In game image via captura:
Same section from the games texture file (again provided by a friend because they were fascinated & wanted to know what it said)
"xxx listening. He knows what you are doing. It mocks-" <- and loops to the top where the text under the attachment point is.
I assumed, given the context, that maybe the text under the attachment point is maybe 'us'.. but that doesn't quite match up.
Looking at it over again, it appears to just be 'He's' again.
This is EERILY similar to what Rell says during the Chains of Harrow questline when Paladino asks him to clarify something: "Can't. He's listening." WHY the pronoun change between 'he' and 'it' though? What the hell is going on?
Is Lyon trying to WARN US? Why not just VERBALLY warn us? Is he afraid that saying the warning out loud will tip off Wally & draw his attention to us? WHY does this seem like it's a SPECIFIC message TO US- To the DRIFTER. HIDDEN in plain sight, on Lyons garments, for anyone who can read Orokin to see!? INCLUDING ROATHE MIND YOU.
ROATHE WOULD BE ABLE TO READ THIS (Nyght can also canonically read it since I can lol)
i honestly thought stickerboard's hoodie would be bigger on him
