ashisms:
ash perked up a bit, hearing the faint sound of music that echoed through the large space of the theater. as far as he knew, he was alone. stepping out onto the expansive stage, his eyes wandered along the orchestra pit, a simple smile etching itself onto his features as he recognized the familiar thatch of dark waves amidst the crowd of instruments. “see. you’re doing amazing. you should have auditioned for the show. you’ve got quite the set of pipes!” hopping down, he sat on the edge of the stage, letting his feet dangle below him. “what are you doing here so early, anyway?”
sitting up a bit straighter as he heard a familiar voice, roscoe smiled up at ash who was making his way over towards the center of the stage. “i’m not an actor. a singer, sure. i’m only half as good as you.” pushing himself off the piano bench, he made his way towards his friend, taking a seat next to him and letting his own feet dangle next to ash’s. “i was just practicing stuff for the show. march tenth just seems so soon. we haven’t gotten a lot done, you know? i’m starting to worry, i guess. what about you? costume fitting?”
