This is a call out post for all my Soccer Club members! We’ve got all these nifty Club Challenges going on, so you all had to know what was coming. This week, we’re going to be focusing on COORDINATION. This skill is one that is really important to how the game of soccer itself is played. Having good coordination is an important part of being able to move, sweep, kick, and continue to keep the game moving, while scoring points and blocking your opposing team. So, this week I’m asking everyone to take the time to work on specific activities that target coordination as a skill! If you need ideas, come and talk to me. But, a few suggestions to get you started are playing hackeysack, tossing a ball or a balloon, doing balancing exercises- even something as simple as balancing a stack of books on your head twice this week for five minutes. Whatever you do, let me know and post those pics and vids on social media! This could be a fun thing to get everyone involved in, even if you’re not a member of the team. We could all do with a little coordination now and again!
