When directed, Ari moved into Kai’s room and waited for the other man to address him. He was coming to learn more about the other man, not as much as he wanted but still enough to understand a little bit. Some might cower under the gaze of a Dominant like Malakai Abrams, but Ari stood unmoved with the expression of someone that had been a Dominant up until less than a year ago. He wasn’t afraid and he wasn’t pushed away by the rough attitude either.
“I’m human, I do feel whatever is going on with everyone else. But what that feeling did was remind me that you’re over here alone, just like you were before. I’m watching submissives run to other Dominants, both searching out service themselves and jumping on opportunities that are offered. I came the way that I did because I wanted you to have everything that everyone else does, Sir.” He nodded there to let that settle, then continued. “And to show you that I’m not shy or afraid of what you might do to me. Not that I think you ever care in a negative way if people are afraid of you, but at this time that tells you that you can call on me, or rely on me coming without being called, and you don’t have to worry about me tattling on you. I wanted to come bare, with nothing to hide, while everyone is vulnerable. It just kept sounding like a better and better idea, the more I thought about it. I wouldn’t mind, I do honestly want you to fuck me and this event isn’t the only thing to blame for that, but it wasn’t entirely selfish. If all I wanted was to fuck,” a vulgarity out of his mouth, the first he’d uttered that anyone on campus (aside from his sister) would have ever heard. “I would have just sent a nude picture, or saved myself the risk of rejection in various ways by just asking. You could have closed the door on me again and I would have been naked in the hallway of McKinley, with my own suite all the way across the courtyard that’s covered in snow. I think that level of forethought and risk speaks for itself.“
Since the first time Ari had come to him, Kai’s mind had been turning. Though the heavy fog of depression had set in long ago, his mind remained the same as it had always been. He’d wondered then why Ari had chosen him, what could have possibly drawn the future South Korean leader to his doorstep of all places. Kai’s reputation spoke for itself, louder than any words he might have ever uttered, though that rearely showed these days with everyone else, even those he’d attended school with before, those who had once chased his dick so hard they’d nearly crumbled, having all but forgotten he existed. The circumstance didn’t bother Malakai much. His confidence in the fact that everyone showed their true colors eventually played out before his eyes, and all he bothered to do was gather information. But, that only meant that when things like this did occur, he took even more note. He noticed.
The Dominant listened as the Switch before him spoke, still kneeling, bearing their body as they bore their intentions, possibly even their very soul. Blinking rapidly, Malakai processed all that he was hearing. He wasn’t someone who had the ability to bring forth emotion like anyone else. It took effort for him, work, intensive work which he so rarely bothered to put in, having found only one other on campus worth the effort it took. However here, now, and with Ari before him, the picture of everything Kai could have ever thought to want most, he couldn’t help but to feel the slightest of internal nudges at the corners of his...Soul? Heart? Two things which psychology, 20 therapists, and himself swore he simply didn’t have. “You...Thought about me.” Kai repeated, expression and tone flat despite what was happening within his mind. It was clear the Switch had learned more about Malakai than the Dominant had intended, and more than others had ever cared to. The way Ari addressed him, the way they spoke so plainly, and with verbiage Kai was sure to relate to and understand... Closing his eyes, Malakai took in a deep breath, steadying himself. It had been a long, long time since he’d done anything like this. His reputation had already fallen to the side of questionable, and he knew that he couldn’t do anything to fuck this up without risking further damage. “Stand up.” He commanded, turning before motioning over his shoulder for Ari to follow, leading the other into his bedroom. “What is it you’re giving me...Permission-” The word came slowly, his lips nearly burning around the taste and formation of it. “-To do?”
