What it it means, is that my word can be taken as the truth and trusted by those who choose to work with me. It’s about integrity – a word that changed my life. That is how I create power within myself. It gives me the belief that anything I say, I know I can do. Sticking to Your Word – Making it Law The only thing more powerful than creating that power within myself is creating the power to be listened to by those around me. If these people listen to me and say ‘I never believe him, he never fulfills his promises’, that is a problem. That’s why it’s important to ensure your word can be taken as a fact. When Your Word Isn’t Law When we come across as if we’re hesitant, unsure or untruthful, our word cannot be taken as law. Sure, I may have a great sales tactic and an excellent product, but that means nothing if my client cannot trust what I’m saying. Inside, they’re thinking: You have no integrity. You are not responsible. You don’t follow through. That’s why its important to fulfill our words and why I personally ensure I make my word law. When you stick to your word, people will count on you – and that is how you get hired. After all, it’s no secret that the more people you have that listen to you, the more success you will have. By accomplishing this, people will see you and think ‘this is a person who’s word is law’. So, is your word law? If not, it’s time to change that. When you make a promise, you need to stick to that promise – not just for yourself, but also for the people around you. By doing so, the hundreds – maybe thousands of people around you will know they can count on you. Build on your integrity and become a more reliable person today.
