I’m sure if I caught you on a regular one you’d be the same, you’d just think you were meaner.
Yeah, yeah you answered your own question. But to hear it from me just so you don’t think it’s made up, I do care about her and we are friends. And I do see how she feels about you and how you feel about her. But it’s not… my place to tell either of you how to handle that.
You probably wouldn't be saying that if you knew me better.
Right. This is a change of pace, someone who doesn't want to involve themselves in someone else's business. If I could still be with her, I would. But she can make decisions too, and you see what she chose. Do me a favor though, on Sundays, at least I'm pretty sure it's Sundays, there's this show she likes, Cosmos. Neil DeGrasse Tyson is the host, if you don't know who that is, don't worry. She'll tell you. He's basically her hero. Watch it with her. And if you don't understand something, which may happen, ask her to explain it afterwards. Even if you do, ask her anyway. She likes to talk about that sort of thing and she doesn't get the chance to often. At least not towards someone who actually cares, and I get the feeling you will. It makes her happy, you can tell. She'll get really into it too. That's it, that's all I need. Just listen to her. Seriously listen. Not enough people do.
