my last exam is on the 22nd of may, so i’ll be back then!! if you see me around a lot, get me away pls my future is in ur hands]]
╰♪╮”But of course, there is never a dull moment when I am around; after all, I am the great Kagamine Rin!” Well she was one to boost the spirits of those around her, granted that her mood wasn’t down the drain. But after long hours of work, she herself felt too tired to do much and had her mind set on relaxing.
╰♪╮”Yes yes, and now that you’re here, you have the great honor of accompanying me.” Where could the two go? The blonde female didn’t go out much with Oliver since he was away, and the one he usually hung out with was Len or the other male VOCALOIDS.
╰♪╮”Eh? Recording?” Her manager didn’t inform her of any recording session with the English male. Perhaps it was with another VOCALOID or maybe Len; the fanbase did enjoy the two singing together. “Free space means more decorations in the house— Oh maybe you can make an indoor pool or a movie theater! Oh oh a gaming room too!”
He snorts a bit. He wasn't disputing her fame, not at all--but it was just the kind of statement he'd come to expect from Rin models. "Of course," he says, the laugh in his tone of voice. He guessed, in a way, it was kind of endearing.
"Honour indeed." Just getting here, and already leaving? Well--Oliver wasn't one to complain. His manager was too stuffy about these things, if you asked him. He had plenty of time before he was needed, right? Checking in and introducing himself to those around... meeting Rin had surely done that, as far as he was concerned. "You were heading out, I guess...? I trust the 'great Kagamine Rin' knows where the best sights are around here--!" Really, coming into Japan just to work... was a drag. He might as well do some sightseeing while he had an excuse of accompanying a valuable colleague, right?
He chuckles. "Mhmm. Well, when I said free space, I meant more lack of. I'm not sure we'd have quite enough space for a cinema even if I was organised, really... but I'll definitely petition for one."
James, like Oliver, is mechanical, though Oliver hardly treats him like it. The bird's main purpose is actually watching over Oliver. He monitors his systems and alerts PowerFX if something is amiss, notably sending an emergency signal if Oliver shuts down unexpectedly.
This tends to bug Oliver--though he loves James, he hates the idea of being watched all the time. He often uses James's battery being low as an excuse to turn him off, or the fact that he'll be "unhappy sitting in his pocket all day", so he might as well turn him off anyway. He's frequently scolded by his manager for such carelessness, but he honestly cares little about it.

sleep t i g h t, Len.
It was nice to be in Japan, but it would be even nicer to be home.
Flight delays are the worst. He slumps in his seat, tapping his feet, humming restlessly. He guessed it wasn't safe to fly in a storm, but--technology had come far enough to create him and tens more, right? Why hadn't it figured out how to fix this yet? Some things seemed too contradictory...
Well, might as well kill some time. Rather than listening to the grumbles of other stranded passengers-to-be, he guessed--anything would be better. Even that figure he spots after a couple strolls down similar corridors. A bitterness swirls in his stomach as always, barely suppressed. Len Kagamine. The better version of him--wasn't he? Though this one looked... older. Less like himself, thank goodness.
Is this one even fake?
No, 'fake' wasn't what any of them were. Being mechanical still made them real. Androids were no more of less worth than the humans that they mimicked.
I am a living being too, you know.
"Ah, Len, isn't it?" As if he could forget, but-- acting too familiarly would be strange. He'd hardly talked to any Lens, after all. Smiling slightly, he walks up to him, a little wry. "You waiting for your flight too? This really is a pain, huh..." Would the boy... even recognise him at all?
He tries to tell himself, 'I won't care either way.'
Hearing an unfamiliar voice, but not new, call her name she quickly put her head up, and turned her head around to see the English Vocaloid. "Oliver-kun!" she beamed, patting him a place on the table, hinting for him to sit down with her. “Are you visiting from England?” she asks. His homeland was England, and seeing him in Japan was very uncommon.
Hearing his voice change languages, English to Japanese, she couldn’t help but place a smile upon her lips. "Yeah," she nodded. "Pleasure’s mine. I don’t see you very often." She always enjoyed it when Vocaloids from other countries came visiting Japan. Considering her job, and her the hatred of traveling, she didn’t visit a lot of places outside of the country.
"How long are you staying?" she asks, drinking a sip from the mug sitting in front of her. A nice warm beverage to warm her up and get her started for the day ahead of her.
Ah--she did recognise him, the fact conjuring up an unmistakable swell of pride. Still smiling, he follows her gesture, sitting down where she pat, his visible eye drifting absently over the cafe before settling back on her, glowing as he smiles warmly. "Yeah, for a little while."
He chuckles a little, scratching his nose sheepishly--"I guess not, huh? Even when I'm here, your schedule must be pretty packed, right?" Oliver himself had a fairly busy schedule on occasion. He found it hard to imagine what the more famous VOCALOIDs had it like--and that made him all the more grateful for his modest portion of fame. Just enough to satisfy your ego, but not too much as to crush your freedom, right? Even he's impressed by the accuracy of the thought. "Really, it's tough for you guys...!"
He tilts his head slightly, glancing up, as if trying to remember. "Mhmm, It's something like two weeks. I have a couple performances coming up, and I think some promotional stuff..." Yeah, photoshoots and things like that--maybe they were the worst part of his job. If only other models of him could volunteer in his place...!

Bright Sapporo streetlights and roadside crossings, this world could really be overwhelming sometimes. Oliver wasn't one to cower from busy places or technology--he had every reason to feel indebted to that mechanical world for his mechanical being. Yet, some part of his coding longed for the fresh air, sea breeze, waves lapping at his toes. If only malfunctioning wasn't so imminent, like the encounter signalled by teal locks drifting in the claustrophobic city air.
He watches them, transfixed, before a bemused, awed smile comes to his face. I know this is Sapporo, but-- as if he'd thought he'd actually encounter the legendary idol herself! "Hatsune... san," he greets awkwardly--honourifics remained puzzling to him, so he would play it safe, clumsily transitioning into his temporary Japanese bank. That thing wasn't even a beta--not even a prototype, only a makeshift measure that would likely never be fully realised. Would that really stand up to this girl? Hmm, his Japanese was clumsy, at best...
"Fancy meeting you here." His smile curves up a little further, one eye curious--definitely still somewhat dazed, respectful, admiring, even as he chuckles sheepishly. "You're even more impressive in person, Miku...!"
[[my ollie muse just bursT BACK OUT OF NOWHERE I

Canalave City might have been a port town, but it wasn't the same as Slateport. This place seemed much quieter, less busy, more collected and thoughtful--maybe it was the presence of a library rather than a market that made him feel that way. Perhaps it was how the see air in Sinnoh seemed much less salty that it had been in Hoenn. There was much less water out here--which was strange to consider. Until he'd left Hoenn, he hadn't realised how important the sea was to him. Water had just always been there, hadn't it?
At least James wasn't the only Wingull here. They were everywhere in Canalave, and it brought memories of home with it, just as much as giving his own bird affectionate scratches did. It really was a peaceful place... he could get used to it, he thought. But he was here to travel, and travel he would.
Well, he would... when he got directions! He soon walks up to the first person he sees, a girl, her bright hair so bold against the quaint surroundings that it no doubt ensured that she, of all people, caught his attention. His Wingull perched faithfully on his shoulder, he offers a casual wave and a smile. "Hey, you wouldn't happen to know where I could find a map, would you?"
youre so great omg. like all around talented

Curled up on her twin-sized bed, Luka wiped away her tears and unknown anger rose from her system. The VOCALOID knew something was wrong with her, but she didn’t seek help for it. Only humans could seek any type of therapy, not androids. That would require someone to take a peek inside of her hardware, which was the last thing she wanted. Other than that, Luka grew a backbone and started to breathe in and out. Placing her hands on the sheets and pushing herself from off of the bed. She then stood up onto the cold floor and started walking out of her room and heading towards the bathroom to apply makeup and a new coating. Once done, she headed out to the outside world and gave off her quality model smile, hiding the pain that’s inside.
Oliver was an early morning kind of person--if there was one thing he and his manager could agree on, it was the time they would rise. Wide awake at seven, they both clocked into work, welcomed by the disgruntled receptionist, still trapped in her own inevitable sleep daze. And, just like that, they recorded, he practised a new song, his manager left him while he wrote emails to various producers on various matters that Oliver hardly cared for.
He's still humming that new song as he strolls out, on an early break to match his early start. The weather was pleasant, matching his mood--calm, uninterrupted by much at all. Japan was even more peaceful than England, he thought--especially where London was concerned. I guess things'd be different in Tokyo, huh? Imagine all the people he could bump into there! Far from daunting, it was almost exciting...
A quick, curious blink--which quickly melts into an amused smile. I guess you can still bump into people here too, he thinks, the Luka model hard not to notice simply due to her striking appearance. How many Luka models would there be out there? It was bizarre to think of the many copies of him, and yet, there were surely even more, countless, when it came to the Crypton models. He'd never meet a Luka like this one again... even without speaking yet, that much was certain.
"Luka!" he calls lightly, his voice perking slightly at the end, a casual greeting. All VOCALOID models were friends, right? At least, with one uneasy exception. He scans the sky, before offering her a warm smile. "Nice weather, isn't it...? It's great seeing you."
╰♪╮”Hmm hmm, it’s not like everyday we have you around. Being exposed to the same environment daily gets quite boring, you know! A nice change of scenario is what we need!” And it was true. The English VOCALOIDS spent more time abroad, expanding their industry on their own until they could even out with the VOCALOIDS already at the top of the industry. A complicated process, she rather not think about that.
In her mind, any VOCALOID was like family to her regardless of their foundation.
╰♪╮”Been having photo shoots since the morning.” Rin rubbed the back of her neck but gave Oliver a warm smile in return. “How about you? What brings you here?”
He laughs warmly--"I guess so! There's never a dull moment whenever I'm here, at least. And I thought it was all of you who made it interesting!" A light-hearted joke. It seemed strange that she'd think her daily work was boring--but maybe that was what came with the fame of a Cryptonloid. It really must be tiring. For Oliver, he was exactly where he wanted to be.
"Ouch! Sounds tough. Time to chill for the rest of the day, I hope." Oliver wasn't a fan of photo shoots and the media himself. It was the music that was precious to him--the rest of it really was hard work! At least he wasn't involved in those kinds of things often.
"I'm just doing some recording, I think. Hmm... I'm not entirely sure who with though!" A quick chuckle, accompanied by a scratching of the neck. "Sometimes I wonder if I'm more organised than my manager! And, let's just say you don't want to know how much free floor space I have back home."

sleep t i g h t, Teto Kasane.
UTAU in itself was somewhat impressive to Oliver. Largely fanmade, largely fan driven, the success of the many UTAU models was almost a legend in his eyes--a legend that was in many ways headed by Teto Kasane. It happened before his time, but it was famous enough that he knew about her. A hoax, maybe, but an impressive one. That he was looking at her right now was a testament to that: she'd risen above the joke she was meant to be, and was now the face that accompanied the word UTAU for most. The Miku of the UTAU world.
It was an admirable title to hold.
He crosses the last few steps between them--it was a busy street, crowds pushing behind and across, but he was comfortable enough, and curious enough, no matter how many times his manager had scolded him for acting reckless when he's already easily breakable. "Hey, you're Teto, right?" he offers casually, raising his voice slightly above the crowd, before chuckling. "I don't think I've met a Teto before!" Was he too informal? Well, if he was honest, Teto wasn't the kind of name he associated with formalities.
His eyes flick to the busy street around them--another laugh spilling out. "A shame about the location, though! I might get crushed...!"
