Hey Pat! An old boss of mine used to say " Are we satisfied?" after we'd just achieved a huge goal or accomplished something great. Of course, the answer was no. We are never satisfied. We should always want. We want perfection. We want the best that life has to offer. And we want to BE the best. So really, it's great that you're never satisfied despite all the wonderful songs you've written, and I believe you'll always be in pursuit of the perfect song. But within that pursuit, I just want you to keep in mind that to your fans, you have achieved that perfect song. Each and every one of us fans have the perfect song in mind and we sing it loud, we sing it proud, and we sing along with you.
