Happy JRo Day 2026!
In celebration, we will NOT be indulging James Roberts's favorite thing to write about!
Instead here's a bunch of head cannons on which of the cast of MTMTE/LL would get an abortion in a horrible alternate reality where the Cybertronian race has a third, really shitty mode of reproduction.
A 2 page comic commission for @thebirdkiwi, featuring everyone's favorite boat and that guy who got to be CMO for like five minutes. Thanks for commissioning! It was fun.
You'll never know how strong you are until strength is your only option."
From the heart of Gaza, these words become more true than ever. I am Bilal Abed Rabou, and I stand before you as a survivor of five wars, an academic student at Al-Azhar University and a software developer from the besieged Gaza Strip. I witnessed the devastating effects of these conditions firsthand

We were a family, living in peace, love and warmth. But everything changed when conflict and despair swept through our lives. Living in Gaza means confronting ongoing conflict, struggling against poverty and the lack of basic necessities to live. Life is very difficult, and even the simplest tasks seem impossible. Yet, despite all the chaos and pain, we remained grounded by the warmth of our love and the strength of our spirits.
Even six months ago, everything changed. Our once home turned into a mess and everything we cherished. Since then, we have been lost, clinging to a world of uncertainty and despair. We left our badly damaged home with only a few things. Since then, our lives have been threatened
with every passing minute.
But now, there is no longer a reason to stay in this place full of suffering, where we are deprived of even the most basic and important rights, education, security and peace.
Our hearts hurt because of all this injustice. We were willing to endure anything to keep our family together and provide comfort and care for our father in his time of need.
With each passing day, our despair grows and our burdens grow heavier. We need your help to break the cycle of suffering, rebuild our shattered dreams, pave the way to a better future, and reunite with our family. Your support is not just a lifeline; Rather, it is a beacon of hope in our darkest moments.
Here you will find our whole story

Help My Two Daughters Escape From Gaza War
Hello everyone..
I am Hadeel Mikki from Gaza, Palestine and this is my husband Waseem Mikki, my daughters Mira and Nadia, My mother Tahani Mikki, and my two brothers.
Hello everyone.. I am Hadeel Mikki from Gaza, Palestine and this is m⊠MOHAMED E M Mikki needs your support for Help My Two Daughters Es
Here is our story - Ever since the morning of the 7th of October, none of our lives have been the same. Everything in our lives has been disrupted. The first night since the beginning of the war, our home got partially destroyed because of a very close Israeli strike.
Despite the damage, we stayed home for another two weeks until suddenly and without preparation, we were told to evacuate our homes and weâd be in danger. From this moment our endless journey of suffering and pain began.
Throughout this journey, we later Knew that our home of three floors where my family and my uncle-in-law family live. My uncle family of 5 members did not leave our home and it has got bombed directly and completely destroyed and all of them were martyred.
My father-in-law his heart could not bear all this pain and all this grief; so he got sick. He found himself living the darkest of realities and through the scarcity of medicine and lack of medical resources in the hospitals, he passed away.
My husband, Waseem, was very sad, and my daughters missed their grandfather, who used to play with them and bring them toys.
The situation was very difficult for my children, and my eldest daughter, Mira, kept crying and wanted to go and see her grandfather, and she did not realize that he had gone and would never return.
So we moved in with my husband, children, and I, full of great sadness, with my mother and two brothers, who are the only survivors of my family;Â They are all that I have left, and I hope that we will all escape with our lives outside of war and destruction, and that my children will survive. We do not want to lose them.
Our future has become unknown, our present is unbearable, unlivable by human standards. Weâre stuck in a harsh reality each moment. We live in a constant state of sounds of explosions, bullets raining down on us, artillery shells, and warplanes dropping destructive missiles on us every day.
In addition to our ongoing suffering to this day: lack of resources, humanitarian aid, medicine, and food. We can barely find food for my girls, as they eat one meal during the day and spend the rest of the day crying.
This is my daughters enjoying a life before 7th October.
But now my princess Mira stay alone all the time remember her previous life, her school, her friends, our beautiful life, and all places we were visited with Mira and Nadia as a beautiful family and still cry I need my school, I need my friends, I need my toys.
This is the cry of a mother and father. We hope that our children will be given the opportunity to live in peace and security and have access to food and a safe life like the rest of the children of the world everywhere.
Now I am pregnant in the 4th month , and I don't know how I will get the baby, there is no hospitals , no pregnancy care , no food , no clean water, so I am worried about this pregnant with these circumstances.
Maybe this fundraising effort is like a beacon in the darkness, our sole source of hope that we hold onto tightly. I urge the world to listen to my plea and the sorrowful cries of my Gaza kin. We desperately require the helping hand that can dry our tears and lead us to safety.
Your contribution is more than just money; it's a chance to reconstruct life and illuminate a brighter future. Join us in shaping a tale of hope, as we rely on your support to begin afresh.
The purpose of the fundraising campaign
The objective of this fundraising drive is to secure the passage of my family, comprising my husband, two daughters, mother, two brothers, and myself, through the Rafah Crossing to Egypt. Presently, this journey necessitates ÂŁ5000 per person. This campaign stands as our sole opportunity for survival, and I earnestly implore your aid during this pivotal juncture. Rest assured, I will furnish you with a detailed breakdown of the expenses, vowing transparency, and lucidity throughout.

Help Ahmed đ
Ahmed, our 4-year-old child, suffers from diabetes. Amid the war, his condition has severely worsened due to the lack of his medication and insulin. We struggle monthly to obtain the necessary insulin needles for him, at exorbitant prices and with great difficultyâ€ïžâđ©čđ.
Ahmed needs .4 gauge needle tips suitable for his age, but he has been forced to use .8 gauge needles, which cause him great pain, making him cry every time he receives an insulin injection. However, today Ahmed is very happy because we managed to get .4 gauge needle tips after nine months of painđ„čđ„č.
Ahmed is supposed to have a special diet for diabetes, but he is forced to eat whatever is available here since the appropriate food is not accessible, which harms his health.
Ahmed should check his blood sugar levels 3 to 5 times daily, but due to the unavailability of test strips, we only test him when absolutely necessary, which happens about once a week.
Help Ahmed obtain his most basic right, which is the right to treatment. You can help by sharing the campaign link or donatingđđ»đđ». Here is the campaign link:

Trapped Family in Gaza Appeals for Help to Survive
A Plea for Help from Gaza: A Family Seeking Safety
Hello, I am Mohammed Alanqer, married to Enas Majed, and we have four wonderful children.
We live in the midst of the ongoing hellish war in Gaza, trapped between walls of fear and despair. I, Mohammed, am a father of four children and a husband to a woman who was two months pregnant when the war began.
The story will be in three languages: English, French and Arabic ⊠Abdallah Alanqar needs your support for Trapped Family in Gaza Appeals f
We struggle daily to survive in an environment filled with threats and dangers.
I lost our sole source of livelihood when my tech startup, which I built with dedication and hard work, was destroyed in the war. My children, Layan, Sarah, and Adam, have been deprived of education after their schools were destroyed, severely threatening their future. Amidst these harsh circumstances, my wife gave birth to our fourth child, Amir, in the midst of the war, adding to our state of despair and hopelessness.
My wife, Enas, lives in constant anxiety due to the destruction of hospitals in our area. I have lost my job and source of income, leaving me unable to provide for my family's needs and safety. Our home was destroyed by the war, forcing us to flee repeatedly and rendering us homeless.
We now face extreme difficulty in providing a safe place to live, clean clothes, and food for our children. Additionally, our children have contracted diseases like measles, and our son Adam has been diagnosed with viral hepatitis.
Our only hope now is to escape this ongoing nightmare and find a safe haven for our family. However, this requires exorbitant financial costs; the coordination fees for crossing the borders amount to $5000 per adult and $2500 per child, a sum I cannot afford alone.
We urgently appeal for your moral and financial assistance to cover the necessary costs for escaping to a safe environment, where we can build a better future for our children and ensure our family's safety.
We are in desperate need of your support. Any donation, no matter how small, can help save our lives. Thank you for your attention and support during these harsh times.

More Than Meets the Eye #52 â The DJD Once Again Prove to Be an HR Nightmare
Ratchet and Drift, looking fresh as hell in their matching paint jobs, stand on the cliff they made their cool entrance on last issue, as they snipe at each other over whether or not Drift personally knows the DJD. Considering how Tarn and Friends had a space-cocaine induced freakout over seeing Drift on the quantum duplicate Lost Light, they may want to talk a little quieter, especially with the face Helex is making.
You better watch out, Ratchetâ this man's going to do Sakamoto-got-all-the-way-to-pencils shit to you!
When you're a giant gay space robot, and the only decent doctors who will slap you away from bad decisions have all left to go do other storylines, nobody can stop you from downloading Grindr directly to your brain.
More Than Meets the Eye #51 â Ten Has Done So Much for All of You, and for What? You Don't Deserve Him.
So, obviously, last issue ended rather poorly for Team Rodimus and Pals. It doesnât look like the start of this one going much better, as a mass of baddies bombard the late Necrobotâs âFortressâ. Whirl, being Whirl, wants to go out and face his certain death head-on. Everyone else is more than fine to wait for death to come to them.
Rewind, showing off the skills heâs picked up as a videographer over the last several thousand years, gets the security cameras up. Iâm assuming that Censere had these installed to keep an eye out for bored space teens who might have wanted to graffiti his millions of plinths. Too bad it didnât save him, or his property, as outside, Tarn is shooting the ground with his twin fusion cannons. Heâs having to hold his arm in place with his other hand, as Iâm sure the kickback of firing two lasers at once must be something fierce. He finishes and commands his troops to cease firing, everyone withdrawing.
The Lost Lost Lighters are super jazzed about this, Brainstorm stating that they must have heard about Tailgateâs Power Punch, an attack with a name so banal, it surely must kill anyone who faces it, if only so they donât talk shit about it after the fact.
Megatron, however, knows what Tarnâs pulling, as heâs a theatre kid, and everyone knows that the really intense theatre kids follow their scripts to a T, and will murder you for trying to ad lib like some filthy fucking improv performer.
By doing this, heâs honoring Shakespeare.
More Than Meets the Eye #50 â The Midlife Crisis Cruise Comes to an End
Our issue begins on Earthâ not Swearth, but honest-to-god Earthâ where Optimus Prime and Jetfire are watching a broadcast. Itâs not syndicated television like I Love Lucy or The Transformers (1984), however. No, this broadcast is coming from some of our favorite Lost Lighters, detailing their last will and testament.
Nautica wants to be buried on her home planet, and doesnât give a hot gay fuck what they engrave on her sparkcase. Also sheâs missing a good chunk of her face, but donât worry about that too much.
Chromedomeâs just happy that heâs dying WITH his husband this go around. Iâm sure Brainstormâs also thrilled to not have the âplease please please stop stabbing yourself in the brain to avoid the pain of being a widower Jesus Christ we canât keep doing thisâ conversation for the fifth time in a row.
Rewind takes the opportunity to poke Chromedome in the inferiority complex one last time, making his message out to Dominus Ambus. Our resident lovebirds want to âenter the afterspark simultaneouslyâ, though that seems more like something to address with whoeverâs killing them.
Over on Cybertron, in Metroplexâs titties, it would seem this broadcast is VERY wideband, as Starscream and Scoop (weâll go over whatever the fuckâs going on there in another post) witness Nightbeatâs will and testament, though considering Nightbeatâs technically undead, Iâm not sure how much legal weight it holds. Having done the whole âdyingâ thing before, Iâm sure heâs spent many a long, sleepless night thinking about how it would happen next time. Ikea Johnson wants a âNeoprimalistâ funeral, where they preserve only the head. Interesting that Nightbeat's religious sect is the same as Flywheels, the Scavenger who only existed to be a stand-in for the word "fuck".
Over on Luna 1, Red Alert is convinced that Megatron is using his gun mode to threaten Nightbeat. Fort Max isnât so sure.
Minimus shows off the most recent trick heâs learned, saying the word âfunâ with only stuttering twice. He wants to be buried on the moon, next to all of Rodimusâs failed pregnancies, and wearing the skin of a man whoâs been dead for thousands of years.
Whirl doesnât want a funeral, though youâd think heâd at least want his corpse thrown in the general direction of the Wreckersâ base, where every member gets a slot in the Zone of Remembrance as part of the onboarding. I know he got kicked out, but being shot out of a rail gun at Debris sounds roughly his speed.
Rung only requests that, should he die in his vape pen form, that he be dismantled. Heâs very committed to preventing underage smoking, and for that I commend him.
Rungâs request greatly disturbs the Scavengers, who seem to have forgone fixing the Krok-shaped hole in the wall and buying a couch more than two of them can sit on at a time, in order to afford a replacement TV, after Krok fastball-specialed a golden disc through the last one.
On another part of Cybertron, Windblade and Wheeljack watch Velocity state that she doesnât regret a single thing thatâs happened while sheâs been a part of the Lost Light. To recap, in the few months Velocityâs been aboard: Thunderclash almost died of being too perfect, Velocityâs first boss ran off to go bang a billionaire with a sword collection, Swerve almost died from too much television, her second boss ran off to get roped into the Polycule Wars, Tailgate exploded, Rung was revealed to be practicing without a license by way of a weird gibbon with a ball gag and his serial killer boyfriend, and she became the only practicing medical professional aboard a ship of over 200, after failing to pass her medical exams ten times. Oh, and she wants to be recycled.
Optimus wants to go save them, thinking that thereâs still time. However, the Lost Light isnât responding, and it doesnât actually matter anyhowâ these recording were sent out weeks ago.
Looks like thatâs a series wrap on Nautica, Chromedome, Rewind, Nightbeat, Minimus, Whirl, Rung, and Velocity! Letâs give âem a hand, folks!
When will you be back?
I took a break, after piecemealing posts for a year. It wasn't that I wasn't enjoying doing this, just that I wasn't enjoying it ENOUGH. My litmus for doing these is roughly that if I'm not actively smiling thinking about these comics, it's borderline impossible to keep up with, especially when the next issue was #50, an absolute monster of 40 pages, AND I had to get a new art program, as Adobe had finally taken away my pirated copy of Photoshop.
So I did some other stuff. Listened to some podcasts. Came out to some friends. Had my roommate move out. Bought a couch. Quit my godawful retail job, got a couple museum positions that are significantly more fulfilling. Started the Skybound comics (pretty good in terms of action, ready to see where DWJ is gonna take the thing with Optimus losing parts of himself to the war, both literally and figuratively). Wrote some stuff for myself. Did some IRL work for Palestine.
Now that I've actually taken a rest, my appreciation for the series has renewed, and I'm ready to come back and finish what I've started. I've always wanted to reach the end, if only so I can say that I did. At this point, it's overdue.
I've got the drive, I've got the time, I've got fun ideas for shit to draw, and I'm ready to be back!
Thanks for sticking around! You'll see me soon.
Hey uh, the Underbase webste is back up. I think Martin McVay or some other TMUK person did it.
Holy FUCK you're right. Merry fucking Christmas to me.
