Well, uh, I went to the lake the other day. That water was the clearest I'd seen since I left Cloudsdale! Aside from the drinking water... Which probably comes from that lake anyway!

Does your huge belly get in the way sometimes? If so, do you mind it?

Yeah, I guess it does. Not all that easy to walk, or do much of anything with all this weight.

Naw, I just quit while I was behind. Before I got too much behind! -he laughs and shakes his rump- Sorry, bad joke. But, no, I quit before anything embarrassing happened.

I've heard a Pegasus named Rainbow Dash is a big fan of yours. Have you met her?

Dash? Of course! We're great friends now, since I left the 'Bolts. Not that happy about me getting so fat. Maybe she's afraid it'll rub off on her?

Not sure. I haven't seen my hind hooves in a while, if that's what you're asking.

Not sure. I guess we'll see! I like being as big as I am right now.

It's no problem! I love the Apples' apple pies. I couldn't live without 'em, and I'm glad the money I pay is being put to good use.

"T-Thanks." She says, wobbling in. "I-I haven't ate anything since I moved here..."

There was a timid pegasus standing there. She looked frail and weak, with her mane coverign half of her pale yellow face. "H-Hello." She says.

Oh, are you alright? Come in, come in. Are you hungry? -Soarin' gets his wide body out of the doorway, and smiles to the small, frail mare- Make yourself at home.

There was a gentle tap on the door, followed by another.

-Soarin' waddled to the door to see who was there. He opens it- Hello?

Hi there Soarin'! Heard you quit the Wonderbolts. It's a shame to see one of the best quit the team, but i admit this is a great look for you! *smiles and gives the blubbery Pegasus a quick snuggle*

Woah, hey there, big guy. Personal space please. But, yeah, it was a hard decision... But splitting my time between the 'Bolts and my apple pie addiction was getting hard. Especially once I outgrew the flight suit.

The pie you had at the Gala was made by the Apple family. Have you gotten to know them since you moved to Ponyville?

Yup. In fact, I visit all the time. I'm practically family there, aside from the fact that I buy lots of pies. Probably one of their most faithful customers, with how often I go down there.

Two questions: 1. How are you doing at moving? 2. Have you ever met Shining Armor? I get the feeling you and he'd have a LOT in common!

I met Shining at the Gala. He's a pretty nice stallion, and we send each other letters every once in a while. I'm pretty good at moving, by the way, still no problems there. Not too good at flying any more, but, all things have trade-offs. -Soarin' licks his lips, finding a small spot of pie filling- Mmm...
