*Dolores wakes up from her light sleep in a cold sweat, the tile floor she lays on uncomfortably solid. As she sits up to rub the sleep out of her eyes, she becomes acutely aware of the paranoia settling deep into her bones. The pools around her are still and silent, except for the occasional drips of water from the ceiling*
*Suddenly, Dolores hears shuffling echoing in the distance, something that should have been impossible. She thought traveler was the only one down there with her, and the shuffling came from the exact opposite direction that they went*
*Even more creeped out then before, Dolores walks as quickly and quietly as she can towards where she assumed Traveler went off to. she found them slumped against the wall, supposedly sleeping. Dolores hesitated for a moment but when she heard more shuffling, she shook them awake.*
@eternally-wandering
wh- huh? wh- huh? wh- huh? wh- huh?
what's going on? what's going on? what's going on? what's going on?
*They look around, confused.*
You look startled, did something happen while I was asleep? You look startled, did something happen while I was asleep? You look startled, did something happen while I was asleep? You look startled, did something happen while I was asleep?
*Dolores swallows anxiously*
I- I think there’s something here. I *swear* I heard footsteps
*she points to where she came from*
they were over there
Footsteps..? Footsteps..? Footsteps..? Footsteps..?
That shouldn't be possible-
*Suddenly, a loud sound emits from the distance, a thud.. THAT caught their attention*
...
You go one way, I go another, we'll meet back up later. You go one way, I go another, we'll meet back up later. You go one way, I go another, we'll meet back up later. You go one way, I go another, we'll meet back up later.
*Traveler gets up and sprints off into one of the hallways, leaving a few paths for Dolores to head off to...*
*Dolores starts sprinting as fast as she possibly could. Squeezing through smaller crevices between the tiled walls, dodging or hopping over pool pockets, but even with all her effort…the thing was still chasing her*
*after running for who knows how long, Dolores slips on a puddle, and finally gets a good look at the monstrosity that’s after her*
*The creature is tall thin and lanky, its red matted hair touching the tiled floor. It has several skin colored fins protruding out of its head, buttons on its coat where there shouldnt be buttons. And that’s when the woman realized that this, this was like looking into a twisted mirror*
*she scootches back against the wall, frantically looking for another route. Shes able to run for a bit longer…until…just like that…the path ends*
*Luckily, before it got any closer, a strange sound emits from behind the being.. and then; a few crows fly into the room, landing just before this twisted version of Dolores.. what?*
*Dolores looks at the crows in shock and perplexity, wondering how these birds of all things got into in this strange place. She then tries to shoo them away, because if she ends up being eaten by this monstrosity, she deserves it more then the crows*
what are you doing??? Go! Get away!
*she gets even more confused when the crows…stand their ground??? Can anything remotely normal ever happen to her??*
*One of the crows peck the leg of the monster, before flying back the way they came from.. then, lights start shutting off in the distance, slowly reaching the room the two are in, once the lights actually shut off in that room, a LOUD, distorted version of a crow's caw echoes out.*
*Terrifying sounds emit from the room; fighting, flesh tearing, blood splattering, the lights flicker every now and then, revealing the twisted version of Dolores being practically TORN TO SHREDS, the being attacking remaining well hidden, until the lights come back in a dim manner, revealing the Faux Dolores on the ground, limbless, bleeding oddly colored blood, and vulnerable, It glances up at Dolores, before a hand from the darkness EFFORTLESSLY caves her skull in.. the light slowly returns to normal, revealing the carnage the being brought, and the being itself.. it wore a larger verson of the cloak Traveler had, it's body was skinny, terrifyingly-so, it was so tall it's head was practically scraping the roof, and.. a beak takes up where a face would be.. it tilts it's head to look at Dolores, a spiral-like eye visible, glaring down at her form...*
Y O U.
*It took numerous steps closer to Dolores, keeping it's eye locked on her form.*
*Dolores is shellshocked as she looks at the mangled corpse of the monster wearing her face, and back up at the crow creature wearing traveler’s cloak*
who…who are…where’s traveler
*she pushes herself up onto her feet, but winces as she realizes she damaged her foot when she slipped. Dolores doesn’t allow herself to take a sigh of relief yet*
Y O U ' R E L O O K I N G A T T H E M.
*The lights cut again, when they return; there's Traveler..?*
Surprise!
*It chuckles coldly.*
What? You really thought that Lost would be roaming around here? they're under my protection.
*They loom over Dolores.*
I've had the hardest time trying to figure out if you were a threat, considering Solitude still resides in your mind.. I know my answer now, considering one of those still life entities took your form, and even mutilated into a new anomaly, you're an issue.. but physically not a threat, I trust you.
*It backs off, the lights cut again, and it's back to being that crow-person again...*

*Dolores takes a shaky step forward, considering her options…there could be other things roaming this place…does she really want to risk something else killing her here? She eventually decides she really doesn’t want to stay in this place*
I…I don’t really have a choice so…yeah…yeah I’ll come with you
I also have…a lot of questions
T H O S E W I L L B E A N S W E R E D I N T I M E, C O M E W I T H M E.
*The Lure begins to move through the halls, walking slowly so Dolores can keep up.. other entities are seen in the distance and lurking close by, but none of them even DARE get close to The Lure, since Dolores is traveling with The Lure, they visibly respect her entire line of sight and hide away out of fear, is this crow-thing a feared presence here? is that why they weren't attacking way before?*
*Feeling slightly more safe knowing the entities are apparently scared of this thing, She allows herself to get a better look at some of them. Some are tall some are short, some are even merged with random pieces of furniture. The entities almost always have something wrong with them, be it too many eyes or almost smeared features. Dolores wills herself to look at the floor not liking how similar she feels to them*
*eventually, The Lure stops and turns around to look at her*
T H I S W I L L B E D I S O R I E N T I N G, D O Y O U H A V E A N Y I S S U E S W I T H S U D D E N M O T I O N?
*It asks, tilting it's head at her.*
*Dolores hesitates before she steels herself*
I’ve…experienced worse. I can handle it
*she isn’t quite sure if that’s really the truth, but she has to grow up eventually*
. .W E ' L L S E E, T H E N
*They grab onto Dolores, and in a flash, disappear with her.*
