Years have passed since the events of the main books. (I haven’t finished yet so don’t spoil me)
Juliette and Warner wake up to find themselves…not at home…?
Why does this seem different?
Why is everything greener…
And there they meet five strange kids…
They are being hunted down by everyone in the world and had to run from home. They have captured their parents.
The world calls them “the singularities”. Because with Warners borrowing energy powers and Juliette’s super human strength, these kids are practically like demigods.
And they are on the run, because everyone wants them.
To establish the world in a new way.
I don’t have names yet but I do have powers.
The eldest, the one who remembers their parents the most. His ability is a secret to him. He prefers not to use it. But allegedly, he can influence people’s emotional reception and cause pain, joy, sadness, or anger. The world’s code name for him: Bacchus.
The second son. Influenced by Kenji a loooot. He knows a lot about the old world after digging up loot and finding time capsules everywhere. His ability is the ability to sense the world around him and basically move it about. The plants, the ground, the water. But because of that he’s super hypersensitive to touch, noise, and everything. (Don’t give him spicy food). The world’s code name for him: Jeb (Egyptian god of the ground)
Third child, daughter. She’s the most lethal and also the most energetic. Tom boy doesn’t even begin to describe her. Barely remembers her parents since she was young when they began to run. Her ability is rearrangement. She can transform walls, change building structures, by destroying it and putting it back together. Can she do it with humans? She doesn’t want to find out. Code named: Loki
Fourth son. He’s the one who doesn’t even know his parents since he was two when they ran. Most like James. His ability is very very important. He can make the birds fly again. The more time he spends with nature, the more he restores it.
The last is a baby girl. By the time the time travel thing happens she’ll be three. No determined power because she’s too young to have developed one yet.
It’s also kinda sad because the eldest was only fourteen when they ran. And he had to educate all of them on everything. And so the kids are slightly overzealous over old world artificats they find from scavenging.
the real kicker of the short story.
Rules that keep them alive:
1. No showing off powers to strangers
3. No lovers. (If they have lovers, there’s a chance they have kids. And if they have kids, then it will be more mouths to feed for the group of them while they’re running away)
Theme song: Meet You at the Graveyard by Cleffy
This is subject to change and probably won’t come out until a little while (given I have the role swap au and all)
