ok so i've been thinking and here's my idea.

James Potter never negotiated any beliefs. He was in love with Lily for seven years. He stuck with the same three friends for seven years. He refused to bend in the presence of a power that he’d never win against. He stood up for the little guy.

Always.

Severus grows up hearing this word from James and his ‘Marauders.’ James always chases after Lily like a lovesick puppy. James always pulls weird pranks. James always picks on him because of his house and beliefs.

Then Lily falls in love with James and Severus knows she will always be with him. She will always disagree with Severus. She will always want something better.

The Marauders and Lily didn’t deal in maybe. If they believed something, that thing was forever. For always.

And so when it comes down to it, Severus has one thing left. That one word left ringing in his ears for so many years from his worst enemy and his first love.

i haven't actually decided on ages quite yet, i'm thinking of hitting around the ages of the original ice cream bois, both of whom are 17, so the rest of them are probably gonna be around that age with like idk a 2 year margin on both ends

the blue moon one is supposed to be really short, like 5'2", but he's not a little kid, he's just kid-like hhdf

and for the rocky road one, he's supposed to be around the size of Tenshi, who's 5'7", he just looks really small compared to cookie dough, who's like 6'2" PFHFDH

but yes they're just childlike hehdfjd
