“Don’t waste your time, it’s broken. Apparently everything I need to use in town is broken today.”
“Well that’s depressing. Thanks for that.”
Jack O’Connell for “Interview” DE Summer 2016
“okay, so i’ll listen to you while you give me a handjob.”
“---- these bad boys feel like buttermilk pancakes, so you can fuck off you dumb virgin. No one gets to cop a feel except for me.
Cataclysm;; Julian & Suri
morrison-suri
The car was quiet for a while until the town started to disappear behind them and the scenery was replaced with foliage. Trees everywhere. The road getting bumpy due to the dirt road. The woods. Last time she was here was with some guy who brought her here to fuck her under the stars and share some of his weed. Memories of a past life. now the company was better. She felt his hand reach towards her face to grab the cigarette and she sighed. The nicotine still hitting her lungs, making her feel just a little more at ease. When he asked if she was scared she shook her head. “Not scared.” she was anxious but not scared. “Not anymore.” They suddenly made a stop and Suri stepped out of the car and scanned her surroundings. “Can I see it? The gun … not your cock.”
Lips pressed together to fight a smile at the little bit of Suri that came along with her request for Julian knew that this was all all the more serious. Julian nodded, eyes on her as he walked backward and deeper into the forest. He stopped in front of her when it seemed to be only them surrounded by high trees for miles. “You don’t press or pull anything yet, okay? But.. Here.” He pulled it out from behind his back, putting the safety on as he did before handing it to her. “Tell me how that feels in your hand. Is it too heavy?”
“I don’t deal with those ones. I am at work – and I’m pretty sure, everyone is smarter than just walking in like that. I could be naked. Or worse. Jude could be naked.” Making a face of disgust, Jennifer took a step closer toward her friend in hoped that he was already not thinking of whoever was on that phone anymore. “I think you would miss me way too much.”
“----- I think you have a little too much faith in me. And in yourself.”

“What do you think I’m gonna do, offer you a blowjob?” Kenna asked, rolling her eyes at him kinda relieved he was willing to give her the money she desperately needed. “I’m getting my paycheck next week. I’ll pay you back, I just need them now. Besides, it’s not like I want them to buy a new dress. This shit is important.”
Julian’s lips twitched up into a coy, knowing smile at Kenna’s bluntness. He raised an eyebrow. “You know, usually when people ask me for a loan they’re a lot nicer about it. You should be buttering me up.” Looking down at the Rolex, he shrugged. “Eh, I guess you already have. I just think you should be a little nicer to me, don’t you?”
Cataclysm;; Julian & Suri
His next words seemed to come out in a less angry tone. Sure, he was still visibly upset but Suri knew that his fury was not towards her but the circumstances. She stayed in the living room and watched him disappear inside the bedroom only to come out moments later with determination written all over his face. He grabbed the pair of sweaters before opening the front door and she followed him without question. In that moment Suri realized that she would follow Julian anywhere and a she was not sure if that was scarier than her father and Scott put together. He led them to the car and he jumped behind the wheel. She joined him not even one minute later, pulling the seat belt over her frame and leaning against the head rest. Julian started driving and the silence was starting to feel heavy in her chest. Yet, she didn’t dare break it. Not by fussing with the radio to find a song or by asking where they were going. She pulled the window down and lit a cigarette. Her thoughts were lost in her father’s face and how it would look with a bullet hole right between the eyes.
The smell of the lit tobacco filled the car and Julian’s nostrils, the scent grounding him for a moment, calming him down. For a second, he doubted this. Did he want to teach Suri how to shoot a gun? Was she ready for something like that? Just as fast as the thought was there, it was gone. He couldn’t protect her forever. He would be gone eventually. It wasn’t a matter of ‘if’, it was a matter of ‘when.’ Plucking the cigarette from her lips, he inhaled deeply and let a deep exhale leave him before placing it back between his lips. As they delved deeper into on the outskirts of town, green rushing past on either side of them, he finally broke the silence. “You scared?”

“I know. I’m always right.” He said with a nod. Not that he was but he didn’t know anyone with big enough balls to tell him otherwise. “What am I supposed to do with a waffle maker? Konk you on the head with it?”
“I’d prefer if you didn’t, but, I don’t know. I thought everyone liked waffle. ---Actually, it’s pretty fucking stupid. I’ll take it back and get you something else or something.”
nolangirl
“Okay, Mom. I’ll try and be more careful when people start knocking the damn door.” She told him, arms moving to cross over her chest as she spoke. Jenny was on the edge lately, without Jude around it was becoming even harder to have some peace of mind, since she couldn’t trust people one hundred percent around Jake. With a small sigh escaping past her lips, the blonde leaned against the wall. “I’m always careful. I mean, even if something happens to me, I most likely will come back as a ghost.”
“What if it’s the mailman next time? Or your landlord?” He was being critical, he was aware of that much, but still. It was partially because he didn’t want her shooting someone and having the cops trace the gun back to him somehow, and partially because he actually cared whether or not she sat in a jail cell or not. He even smiled at the lame joke genuinely. “Probably. Wouldn’t put it past you.”
taelerbyeong
“No shit, Sherlock,” he sneered. “Did you seriously come here to gloat? Or this your way of trying to get me as a customer again?”
“Neither.” That was a lie. In fact, he was standing there in front of him, infuriatingly smug expression in place, for both reasons. “Since when was checking in such a crime?”

He was going to laugh. It was pretty much fact, and if he withheld then she’d be shocked and then wonder what’d he’d taken the moments when her back was turned. “I also did an episode of Law and Order. To my dad it meant buying the whole series. And there’s a lot of Law and Order. Again, one episode.” There was at least three seasons on that shelf, the rest somewhere in the DVD wall. “Eesh, fine. Not really a spoiler, but I’ve got a really sloppy supposed to be sexy shimmy neon swimsuit scene about fifteen minutes in…it’s not sexy. We were fighting the weather and there’s mud and these really gross mud-bugs that were attracted to my skin and, you know, limited budget. You take what you can get…we’re fast forwarding. I’ve heard the end of it and I don’t need it revived.” She was kidding with him— kind of, the budget, bugs, and weather was all true..but this was still weird. She pressed her back against the cushions as if she was melting into them, her drink brought to her lips and stayed there without even a sip as if hiding. Eyeing Julian from the corner of her eye, using the opportunity to chat…and deflect. “Soo, how’re things? Time to kill tonight, runs a little slow?”
“We’re adding that one to the list. Let me guess, you die in that one too. Or, no, wait--- you were the killer.” His stomach was already taught and hurting from the laughter that bubbled from him. Unbeknownst to him was the last time he had chortled freely like this, and thanks to Talon, it made him feel at least a little lighter. Even if he was not-so-subtly making fun of her beneath his breath. “Aw, damn. Don’t hold out on a guy. Come on.” His face was hurting from stifling his laughter, knee hopping in anticipation to see Talon Harper on screen. “When do you come on?” He asked his own question before answering her own, per usual. “Yeah it is, but you know, the same. Keeping under the radar. I think less people want my head on a stick lately. That’s progress.” Leaning back in his seat beside her, he drew his eyes away from the screen long enough to meet her gaze. “What about you, huh? You ever going to tell me what that piece of shit Travis said to you?” He paused, offering a small semblance of warmth in what would otherwise be seen as a smirk. “Or should we keep that buried and untouched?”

“Two hundred. Maybe three.”
“Two or three bills, huh?” Blue eyes flickered to the rolex that rested flat in his palm, stubble dusted lips rolling together in contemplation, before Julian fastened the rolex on his wrist when his decision was made. “Alright. As long as you pay me back eventually--- and don’t try to chince me. You may be good at what you do, but I’m familiar with most of your tricks.”
