I'm not much of a girl who downloads The Top 20 hits onto her iPod. I feel like those songs are so overplayed, and I easily get tired of them. I've compiled a list for all of you of my current favourite slow songs that are mainly hidden gems. These songs are perfect for cozying up with a cup of tea or for nodding off to sleep. Enjoy! THATBEAUTYSAMPLER's Soft & Sweet Songs Mix - Beautiful Things (Gungor) - Vampire's Kiss (John Gold) - Sleepyhead Acoustic (Passion Pit) - Starry Eyed (Bridgit Mendler) - From The Ground Up (Sleeping At Last) - Little Locket (Brighten) - No Angels (Bastille) - How To Love (Sam Tsui) - Adore You (Miley Cyrus) - Young & Beautiful (Lana del Rey) - Stay (Rihanna) - Us (Regina Spektor) - Naïve (The Kooks) - I Hate This Part (Pussy Cat Dolls) - Whatcha Say Acoustic (Jason Derulo) And there you have it! Spread these songs around; you'll be happy you did ☺️
Some of you may not know about the perks of a Beauty Insider with Sephora. It's absolutely free, and with you're membership you can earn points for every dollar spent towards small gifts, can enroll in free beauty classes, and (my personal favourite perk) can receive a birthday gift during your birthday month!
Today I headed to my local Sephora to pick up my birthday gift even though my birthday was 2 months ago. I read the fine print on the Sephora website, and it stated that you could go to the register and pick up your gift without any purchases! Sweet!
When I arrived, I went to the register and gave the lady my email in exchange for a cute little gift box! Inside was a travel-sized lipstick, and a sample sized mascara. t's not much, but I thought it was quite nice.
I also asked the lady at the cash to give me my Beauty Insider Membership Card since I registered online and didn't get one. I just wanted to feel more official :)
If you would rather pick up your birthday gift online, and have it shipped to your home, you would need to actually purchase something, AND pay for shipping. If you don't mind that, go ahead! :) Ordering products online from Sephora actually allows you to pick three samples from a small selection of choices, so there is definitely a perk to ordering online.
I actually picked up three samples of my own while at Sephora (they're all just testers) - Too Faced Shadow Insurance, Urban Decay Primer Potion, and Tarte Avenue Princess Bronzer. I really like the fact that Sephora gives out little samples. They are super helpful for travelling.
And there you have it! I highly suggest you register to become a Beauty Insider, even if you don't really shop for makeup too often. The Birthday gift is definitely worth it.
