Gentleman (Male)
You were an asshole. A loveable one! It was your personality. You would mess with your friends, make fun of them 24/7, put them in chokeholds, etc. So you can imagine the surpise on their faces when you started to date the schools resident goth. The seriousness of the Addams clashed with your playful rudeness. By all accounts, you should not be together, but you two worked. When the Rave'n was announced for this year, your friends were intrigued to see you with Wednesday in such a formal setting.
"Cara Mia," Wednesday says as she approaches you at the dance, like a goddess dressed in the night sky, right as you had pushed your friend away. She wore a beautiful, sleek black satin dress that had a fitted silhouette, a high neckline, and long sleeves. Spiderweb lace details stretch across the shoulders and cuffs, paired with fingerless lace gloves, heels with the same spiderweb design, and small silver accents.
You’re wearing a tailored all-black suit that fits close and clean, sharp enough to feel formal but dark enough to stay understated. The jacket is slim with a structured cut, paired with straight black trousers and of a tie. Subtle details, like faint spiderweb stitching along the cuffs or matte silver jewlery, and black leather boots finish it off.
Immediately, you shifted. "My love," you say simply as you take her hand, kissing it as you lean down. "Thought you weren't going to come. Would've drowned my sorrow in the cheap liquor someone no doubt snuck in."
"There's still time," She says as she steps closer, her slim, gloved fingers interlacing with yours. Her ink like eyes staring into your own eyes. "You always clean up nicely."
"Have to impress you," you say, kissing up her arm to her neck. Just like you had seen her father do to her mother.
Your friends stand slack jaw. Their friend, the one who had thrown Aaron into the lake after he stole your pizza, the Y/N that gagged at PDA, the same guy who dyed Ethans eyebrows blue was now acting like a edgy Romeo.
As the Rave'n progresses, you hardly leave Wednesday side, not fighting when she grabs your tie to lead you somewhere, making you eat after you said you weren't hungry for the tenth time, taking the flask of liquor someone had offered, etc. You were known for your independence and no-fucks-given attitude, but yet, Wednesday, Addams of all people had you like a trained dog. About nearing the end of the Rave'n you, your friends, their dates, and Wednesday decided to leave and grab some fast food (Wednesday didn't want any, but she agreed to go). After walking about three blocks, you noticed Wednesday eye twitch every few steps, a subtle tell that she was uncomfortable. You had first noticed when Enid gave her a sweater as a gift that had to rough of material for her liking.
"Hey," you say softly, making her stop walking. You took off your boots without a word, crouching as you took off her heel and helped her slide on the boot. After you stood up holding her heels as you two caught up, Wednesday's arm link around yours.
"I could've handled it," She says in her usual tone, but the subtle squeeze spoke for her gratitude.
"True, but it hurts to me to think you're in pain," you say, kissing her temple. Your friends whispered lowly at your actions, and it didn't help when their dates glared at them muttering about lack of manners.
"Hm. Guess my father was right. You are a gentlemen when you want to be," Wednesday says before pecking your lips.
