I LIKE that she's messy and fucked up and problematic, I think it's a realistic depiction of how a lot of repressed and traumatized trans women are. I think the show goes to great lengths to explore how and why she is the way she is, and to evoke sympathy for this kind of person. it doesn't excuse her actions but it does make them understandable. and I think the fact women like that deserve sympathy is an idea worth stating and worth shouting. yes she's a bully and she hurt everyone around her and that may never change. she still deserves sympathy.

Local Trans Woman Laid Off AGAIN! Help?

Well another job has come and gone, the indie company I worked for shuttered their entire social and marketing department (which included me) yesterday and I'm back to job hunting.

They laid me off with no severance and only "paying out my last two weeks" as part of my final pay. So things are once again going to get tight financially around here and I hadn't even been able to financially recover from the previous layoff I suffered.

I've avoided posting these here because of extremely negative messages i got about it when I first made this new blog but this is kind of an emergency. i wont be able to make rent or bills next month and I was hit with other payments that I cant pay myself, please anything helps. Im really really sorry for the huge amount I dont know what else to do.
