Having no source memories yet missing people you never even knew is so... strange. I don't remember him at all, and yet I know just how important he was to me. Hm.

That fictive feel when you’re so different from source at this point and on the outside seem like a completely different person.

But you know you’re still source close in ways singlet fans of source wouldn’t understand.

That other fictive feel when you’re REALLY not like source on a fundamental level anymore, but who cares bc it’s from trauma and being bodily autistic which is out of your control.

That fictive feel of loving other source characters in a way singlets don’t understand because you knew them personally.

Tffw you search for weeks but can't find any of your source mates and you just want to talk to your friends again or your going to get self destructive and you can't do that cos you need to respect the rest of the system at the same time

That feel when your source character does something mean and out of character and you have uncontrollable guilt over something that you’re aware “isn’t a big deal” and you have to keep thinking it’s not real and you weren’t an asshole in real life.

And you have to force yourself not to cry over it because it’s not real and this is “immature” to be so upset over as a bodily adult.

But the awareness of how “not serious” it is just makes you feel stupid and worse.

Being a fictive is so weird sometimes, especially with exomemories. Like I remember that guy as a really, really bad person. And everyone in the source/fandom loves him. And they're not wrong to, cause he's shown as a great guy who raised me the best he could! But I cannot stand him. He was horrible to me and I hate that every time I try to engage with my source, he's there.

PSA: If you are using Pluralkit or Tubberbox, go save your avatar files NOW.

Discord has been implementing a feature where direct links to images uploaded to Discord will no longer work after 24 hours. If you want more information, please check out this post by twilight-sparkle_irl. As Pluralkit and Tubberbox both use the direct links for images uploaded to discord for member avatars, this will likely affect these two bots.

I've talked to the Pluralkit devs and they have informed me that Pluralkit and Tubberbox devs are in talks with Discord to see how this will affect the bots. No updates as of yet but once I hear anything I'll update this post.

In the meanwhile, I highly suggest everyone to save alter avatars if they can. I'll be providing a link to an external tool that you can use in the reblogs of this post.

How to use it:

Type "pk;export" to the Pluralkit bot

From your DMs, download the .json file the bot sends you

Go to the website and upload that file

It will make a folder of all your alter's profile pics

The first Alter you’re able to see is a Fictive, even before you knew what DID/OSDD really is. For so long I though I had this thing where Actors get when they play a role for so long that they forget who they are.

Tfw you can't tell people about your source because it's considered cringe, and bad. So you can't connect with anyone let alone reach out to other fictives because you're from a bad source and were a bad person in said source so you're not a true fictive™️
