That girl from Sinnoh

Here's some infos about me with a small QnA (will uptade if needed) 🌼

Where are you from? I was born in Johto but I moved to Sinnoh 10 years ago for my parents work, then I moved from Sunyshore to a little village close to Greenstation.

How old are you ? I'm an adult, but less than 25yo.

Do you do combat ? I don't! I trained a bit in Johto when I was little and got a badge for my town's arena before moving even if I was a bit young. I'm all friendly sparing with pokemons who like it and need the activity with the accurate aftercare. But you'll totally see me giving away leaflets against illegal sparing, I saw the consequences, it's not pretty nor "cool".

What do you do for work ? When I started living alone, I went to the nearest rescue center and decided to adopt the one that had been here the longest, I kept going and adopted aggressive, soon-to-be-euthanazied, in need of constant care, in need of rehabilitation... I'm in a full time partnership with them now which is really useful since I'm on the Sinnoh's disability fund (for chronic pain, chronic fatigue and autism), being an "official" foster home allows me to not cover 100% of the veterinarian, food, etc expenses.

What pokemon do you have at home at the moment ? I recently lost Lily, a rescued vaporeon from a clandestine zoo, so now it's just me and Hildi (mimikyu) and a shiny chikorita, they will stay with me as I fell in love and adopted them officially!

Have you had any more pokemons since you became a foster home ? I did actually ! In order :

- Prune, a skiploom who successfully got adopted in his forever home and evolved soon after.

- Bangbang, a togekiss I got as a Togepi and got released in the wild

- Chichi, a bellsprout who got released at first but came back, she got adopted in her forever home soon after

- Curry, an emolga that his first owner brought back as he was neither a pachirisu nor a female, also ended up in a forever home

I've been very very busy the last three days. Head deep in work once again, no vacations when you love your work I suppose !

Yesterday I was in a call with the rescue center I work with back in Sinnoh, luckily we got a partnership with a rescue center here in Illumis, I knew we had a few in Kalos so of course it was logical to have one there ahah I don't remember the name but it's the one not too far from Jaune Plaza !

I have to submit some data to the research center, I hope I'll meet some people, I heard I wasn't the only one who came to Illumis recently !

I took the opportunity when I went to the research center, and got some selfies, look who it is on the wall !

I've spent the last three days head deep in administrative papers.

I had to call the rescue center I work with in Sinnoh to talk about the best course of action because I just can't enjoy a vacation without work ahah

Luckily we had a partner rescue center in Illumis and after our respective big boss talking together, I got a part time job.

They also redirected me to the research center where I have to submit some data since it goes with the partnership.

Took the opportunity for a selfie and some pictures, look who I saw on the wall !

He's taking me to eat outside but first he showed me around town a bit. I love him so much, I'll so happy we can spend some time together. Tbh I'm probably going to stay a while to help so I can go back home with him. We still have to talk about it but I'll enjoy the evening first with my future husband and my new child.

I also took some pictures myself, loon how cute this poster was in front of the pokemon center !

I also saw a little fletchling 🥰 Now looking back at it, I totally missed the big rock IN THE MIDDLE of the road, between that, domesticated pokemon stealing tourist's and illegal spearing, I'm really glad I only bring Hildi... Illumis really went south like Az said.

And guess you I saw ?? My guy Az ! Last I saw him was almost 10 years ago when I was at Illumis ! Can't believe he's the one who owns the hotel ! I'm so glad he's doing well ! We talked a lot and his little fae was still so cute. I was supposed to sleep at my bf's place but we talked a bit and we decided we would stay here a few nights, it's like we're even more on vacation !

So his name is Boro, and since I'll be staying for some time, he asked us to join his team. My boyfriend explained this Z-A system to me, I'm not a big fan of pokemon spare but he explained to me it was way more friendly in the dedicated zone and Kalem (that's my new boy) likes this a lot apparently, so we'll try it this week end I guess.

I admit I look pretty cute in the jacket !

I arrived at Illumis and Hildi jumped into my bf's arms before I could do it !

On our way out, a guy stopped us asking for a video. It's weird to see how much th town as change since I last came here, there's a lot less Furfrou than I remember and I haven't seen any Furfrou's hairdresser yet. That makes me so nostalgic tbh 😅

But as soon as we agreed for this guy's video for some hotel, I think ? My bag got stolen by some Pancham ?? Has Illumis really gotten this bad ? Omg. Thankfully my boyfriend was able to chase it but by the time I joined him, he was having a shout with two randoms asking to battle ! What the heck, I just got here ?? You don't know us nor my pokemons ?? What year is it ?? The video guy followed us and was able to talk them down since them seemed to know him. He ended up apologizing and offered us a stay at this hotel. He also asked me about Hildi and when I explained where I came from, he asked me if I could take his chikorita, apparently the three pokemon he had were really not getting along and since I already had another at home... Of course I said yes.

Hi, it's been while, I've been pretty busy with the rescue center. It's already snowing there and even with help I still had to rest a lot. I was also very busy arranging travel to Illumis to go see my boyfriend and today's finally the day !

Sadly I couldn't bring Surimi (my shiny chikorita) because she really hates travelling and she would just try to throw up all the way to Kalos... But Hildi is coming with me ! She'll probably stay a lot with my bf since last time she saw him, she loved him a lot.

I'm already off the boat and on the train rn, can't wait to see the love of my life after so long 🥹

Oh my...my deepest condolences for your loss. :(

Grief is a tricky thing, especially if it's your first time handling it directly. We all handle grief differently, so it's harder to gauge.

But for general advice, spend time with your other two mons, think of things to do in your passed mon's honour, or just as a general distraction.

If they cared for you, they'd want you to take care of yourself too.

It's not my first time losing someone but it is my first time losing one of my own pokemons... It wasn't quick, we saw it coming and we were all with her until the end but it's still really hard to wake up and realize she's not coming home, she'll not wake me up if I sleep past noon or sleep in the bath while I watch Netflix. Hildi is the most sad since he was really close with her, I have a vaporeon costume he used to wear every halloween, Lily just kept stealing it and hiding it, maybe I should give it back to Hildi, I'll have a mimikyu in a Vaporeon costume instead of a pikachu ! But I'll probably cry a lot the first week ahah

I've been so tired those last few days, idk if it's just the autism or the chronic fatigue... Or if it's... The fact that I lost Lily. I still can't grasp it's real, maybe it's why the two gremlins are acting up lately, it's been so hard on them too they loved her so much...

I was in a call with my bf today, he's in Illumis rn, we've been talking for a while about living together, I wonder if now would be the time, we're so different in a lot of aspects and my mood isn't the brightest... He'll probably come spend some time with me in like, during March probably
