38/365 This is one of my favorite duets of all time. To begin with, it’s a quite beautiful pop tune, secondly is the making up of two old friends who held a grudge for many years. Thirdly such great voices. I especially love the pace of the verse and the lyrics actually touch me, Robbie getting famous while Gary who wrote everything for Take That was left behind. Nice, slightly sappy stuff.

37/365 It took me a long time to like The Smiths. Morrisseys singing style drove be a bit nuts, but the day I started to focus on Johnny Marrs guitar instead I was hooked. He's a very interesting man and give wonderful interviews. This is one of his solo tunes. Always sticks to my mind when I have heard it :) So coool..

36/365 This is one of the tunes that have an instant feeling of calmness and a real presence about it. You can turn it on and there is instantly a calm and beautiful mood in the room. The guitars moves like spider webs around a wonderful duo of voices. This sounds so un-Norwegian, but oh so wonderful.

35/365 Time for a tune from one of my absolute favourite artists of all time; Elliott Smith. Elliott was one of those super talented people that can play any instrument and quite often played them all on his albums. His song are very often filled with sad, hurt and bordering on bitter emotions, mirroring the life he lived before a very sad ending. No one still knows if he was murdered or killed himself. I love every song he made, but this is one I love a little extra. Such a sweet but deep lyrics.

25/365 This is just purely beautiful. One of the loveliest vocalists I know, and the switch between the quiet verse and the bridge and refrain is just wonderfully contrasted. And how often do you hear Australian music? It's a whole world of music down there that we never hear of... :)

34/365 Song nr 34 is one of my favourite duets, and a quite New one too. I really love this Whole album, and think Lady Gaga really gets to show what a great song writer she is together With an amazing Production by Mark Ronson. This is a wonderful tribute to friendship between to woman together With Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine. The lyrics brings tears to my eyes.

33/365 More supercool British into the weekend. I think these guys might be the only real rock'n'roll stars of their generation. Really looking forward to seeing what they turn out this year and hope to see them in Oslo in August. Enjoy and be cool and be sexy! Must be the coolest music video recorded in a car too.

32/365 Since Oslo has visitors from true British Royals today and tomorrow it fits well to play this one. I really love this one and Lorde is a unique talent! So simple, but so groovey and such a good melody. A true musician, and there are very few of thoose these days.

31/365 I have listened a lot to Billy Joel today, from time to time I really get a Billy Joel kick, so right now I have a hard time choosing one song. But this one remains very cool and Billy the Kid has always been one of my favorite historical characters. I love how good Billy is to tell the story of Billy.

30/365 Pixies will forever remind me of a year at folk high school. Me and another girl shared a room for a year and had a common love of Bjørk, Pixies and Tool. Every time I hear it, I imagining a pretty dressed up 50′s/60′s girl walking down the street :) And it’s a very good song to strut down the street to too.

29/365 Time for a good ol' classic. I think all of us that were kids or youngsters in the 80's always will think of Top Gun when we hear this song and that doesn't make it worse. It's wonderful in itself. So much feeling, so much desperation... Come on, sing along will you. I wish I could here at work, I am singing in my heart.

28/365 This tune is bad in a good way. You can hear instantly almost that she has done something wrong that she should regret. The whole background behind her voice in front sounds like a rusty old sick squeezebox. It takes me back to early student days hanging with my best friend. Cool lady, Fiona.

27/365 A bit delayed Saturday post is Justice and D.A.N.C.E one of my favourite French electronica tunes. It's elegant and groovey and makes you want to move sophisticated around the dancing floor. Love the children's choir too. Enjoy!

26/365 So it's Friday, my friends, and time for a classic from one of my absolute favourite artists Blur. Graham Coxon is really on top of his game in this one. Just listen to that guitar... The whole song is just bursting with energy. Rock around Your living room, office or similar and play that air guitar.

25/365 Many of you have probably heard of Jack White and the band that he is a member of: The Raconteurs. The other prinsipal song writer and vocalist there is Brendan Benson. I really like his solo album "My old familiar friend", it's good american poprock, plain and simple. It reminds me a bit of 70's american pop rock like Tom Petty or Chicago, but that might just be me.

24/365 Time for a bit more Electronic Music. Damon Albarn is a big hero of mine, he has moved in so many different styles of Music and even Gorillaz itself does that. This one is just pure groovey! :)

23/365 Time for the first rap tune. This is a Norwegian rap song from the legend Don Martin from Gates Parlament, one of the first Norwegian rap groups. Here he gives and ode to Oslo by referring to other celebs and poets called Nilsen and counting himself among them and telling us about his life. Great stuff.
