The Emperor's overwhelming ego and narcissistic tendencies, I feel, compliment the Medic's possible sociopathy and completely compulsive, unhinged behaviour perfectly. Like two red flags waving in the wind.

Fuck no. The fun of this ship is that they're both absolutely insane in their own ways.

Emperor Nefarious is flamboyantly genocidal and Medic is flamboyantly amicicidal. They're both not great people. They make each other worse. That's the whole point and I fucking love it.
