Cuddle Clone For My Fiance

A lot of you that have followed this blog for a while might know about our cat, Oliver, whether from me posting pictures of him or just mentioning him in posts. A few months ago Ollie just refused to eat or drink and just wasn’t acting his normal self. We took him to the vet, he had lost half his body weight(he was 13 pounds originally) in a very short time. The vet did a blood test, check some other things, and gave him some special food with extra nutrients, and we went home. 

He started eating again, stopped a second time, lost more weight and back to the vet we went. The vet recommended prescribing him an appetite stimulant, we agreed to try it and it seemed to be working, he was back to his usual self and was eating was more vocal. Ollie had seemed to be getting better. 

On Sunday, May 12th 2019 while I was at work I got a text from my fiance saying something was wrong with Ollie. We both rushed over to his aunt’s house and found Ollie completely unresponsive, but still breathing. We immediately took him to the emergency vet where we were told his condition was critical and honestly most of what she said was a blur but essentially there was very little chance of him making it out of there. It was an extremely hard choice to make but we agreed that it would be best to “help him pass” as the vet said. 

TL;DR

My fiance hasn’t been alright since we lost Ollie. Oliver was born under his bed on his birthday and got him through a lot and was there for him when he was alone for years and he feels so guilty and hurt. After talking with some close friends we decided to get him a Cuddle Clone of Oliver. It’s 249USD for all animals and an additional 129USD for 2 Week Rush Delivery, which is 398 USD in total. I will be pitching in what I can from my paychecks and picking up more hours for this as well. So you might have noticed that I kinda stopped posting on this blog and dropped off the face of the earth and its mainly because after making that One Post that I didn’t even expect to get as many notes as it did. It opened up a lot of people deciding to send death threats, rape threats, having a bunch of people call me an aphobe for asking someone to not derail what should have been a personal post. 

It got tiring and to the point where it was physically exhausting so I decided to take a break from this blog for a bit. After I make this post I’m going to clear out the inbox and revive this blog as well as I can.

Also I do run a second blog @lgbt-autistic-culture if you want to follow that since its a bit more active.  Sorry about the radio silence again it just. really got to me.

This year I’ve been ill a lot like physically and I’ve recently realised that each time I’ve been sick recently it’s probably actually been a depressive episode. Is this a thing that happens to other people too? Mental illness manifesting as physical illness? Thanks

not gonna lie the wording of this ask makes me uncomfortable because it kinda makes it seem like Neurodivergent people are just people that can be observed and not just... people that behave a little differently. We're people, not just an experience. I let my followers decide tbh

I spin in circles when I talk on the phone or do any sort of ranting or sometimes just cause I feel like I need to, certain sensations (like touching someomes arm and they clench their muscles) cause me to freak out, I get semi severe panic attacks and get easily startled causing me to hyperventilate. I get overwhelmed by noise/light/etc. And have to "sulk" esp. After panicking. I do this weird thing with my hand when Im nervous while spinnnung or pacing. I cant convey things well. (Pt. 1)

And I do a lot of things "Backwards" I usually grasp social things well except not always knowing whats a joke. I find ND things relatable and see myself in them. My panics are so bad Im gonna have to use CBD oil til I get to the Psychiatrist. Does this sound like just Anxiety, Depression, and Quirkiness to you or might I also be ND? Im still learning about ND things so please dont be mad (pt.2)

You’re already neurodivergent because you have anxiety and depression, neurodivergence encompasses many many mental illnesses/disorders, but the other things you listed sound like autism things to me(an autistic person). Specifically the “overwhelmed by noise/light/etc.” but symptoms due tend to overlap so if you can look into things more and talk to a professional if you can!

Do you think that its assholeish if you avoid a certain nd person bc certain symptoms of theirs really hurt you?? Like I'm nd myself and so are a lot of my friends, but this one girls lack of ability to read situations went so far as interrupting a breakdown of mine where I was sobbing to ask about the details of my mother's cancer. She would also frequently interrupt my own conversations with someone else to argue with me. I know she cant help not understanding but I also dony wanna force stuff

In this case I don’t feel like its wrong and you can probably also bring it up to them before complete radio silence tbh because theres a lot of nuance to this stuff y’know? Like if its negatively affecting you then yes by all means, you arent obligated to continue to interact with them.

neurodivergent is essentially anyone that is mentally ill/has a disorder/etc for example

someone with depression is neurodivergent

someone with autism is neurodivergent
