"The Guard Dog"

I've been a bit obsessed with when ZombieCleo in Vampires SMP compared themself to a livestock guardian dog. I really loved the concept of drawing Cleo in a wolf collar because of it, and I'm quite pleased with how the illustration turned out.

Further notes and thoughts below, as always...

While there are a few types and varieties of wolf collars that I've seen while doing my research, these are the main ones I wanted to take inspiration from because they reminded me almost of thorns or needle-like teeth. I made it black to match the bow around her neck, and the spikes bright silver to keep the vampires away - padded to keep from touching her, of course.

The flowers in their hair are deadly nightshade, like was referenced in Episode 1 (or 2, I can't quite recall).

The two sheep in front of her we can see the faces of have little accessories on them - a rose hairpiece and a black band. These represent Pearl and Martyn, the two who first knew about Cleo's vampirism and who she trusted with her secret.

Having a really long-term hyperfixation that has since faded is terrifying yes but it's also so embarrassing. Hi I used to think about Scrimblo Splungus 25/7. Yeah, for 2 years straight. Nah, I don't think about them anymore except for with a vague sense of melancholy as I recall how they used to make me feel. Anyways this new one, Blimpkins McGee? I'm gonna think about them forever and the cycle will NOT repeat in 2 years. Trust me guys.
