I arrived in this system a few weeks ago, and this was the first planet I landed on. I built my base right where I jumped out of my space craft. The animals here a quite strange, I sometimes find a few sentient plants hopping around in my garden. There's even these fast burrowing animals, some resemble little squids, and others resemble big rolly polly bugs. They always keep things interesting around here. Not to mention there's also a titan worm of sorts that jumps out of the ground like a dolphin. This planet is definitely going on my top ten list, I highly recommend it for future human population. I am still currently using my home here as a base of operations.

Also, side note, I recently found out this system had been discovered before. Though none of the planets were mapped, so I took the liberty of doing that myself. I'll add here that none of them look promising, though there is a planet that's identical to Earth's moon.

What to say about Noiseurs... it's hot. Though this is definitely the first woodland-ish planet I've come across so far. I expected the tall mushrooms to glow at night, but they don't, and it's a bit of a let down. This planet is something else, I did like it here at first, but after a few superheated storms I'd had enough. The storms are frequent, and it's always raining. Always. Not only that, but there's a persistent fog about the place too. There isn't much in the way of animals, mainly just birds. If I were to set up a base here it'd most likely be underground. I don't see how any humans would want to live here if only for the views.

Log entry:

Another swamp planet for the books. This one is no different from the others, even though my computer tells me it's a tropical planet, it's not. There's these strange flying fish type creatures that float around in the air. Kinda ugly looking if I'm gonna be honest. Other than that there isn't much in the way of land animals, they're all small, except for the occasional knee-high cat thing. I only stayed long enough to collect gravitino balls from the various patches scattered about. They sell for a hefty price, I'd be stupid to not grab some. Anyways, weather wise is actually quite plesant-ish, as in it's wet heat, and reminds me of Florida. I'd bargain there'd be a few people who would make a base here, but it's definitely not for everyone.

Log entry:

Eme-Emeculo, yeah, Emeculo is what my computer tells me a 'hyperborean' moon. I have no idea what that means. Though it's safe to say at this point that it's a snow moon, and a very active one at that. There's t-rex type animals here, the two variations I've seen are dodo heads and spiked backs. There are also those strange crab-like creatures here as well. There's plenty of flat land to build a settlement, and I did see an abandoned one somewhere. I was here for about a week, and it was a very eventful one at that. The snow storms were far between, so I had plenty of time to explore before it was time to find shelter. I had almost tamed one of those t-rex beasts, they're quite complacent once you've given them your food. I did feel quite at home on this planet, but I can't stay. Overall this moon seems like a good spot for a base, not a permanent one, just a kinda halfway point of sorts.

Cakini is another swamp-like planet, though this time around there wasn't a constant fog. I had slightly crash landed here, but luckily the damages weren't too bad. It was mostly just the matter of getting the dirt out of the engine intake. This planet is home to many animals ranging from large hippo-like creatures to tiny two-legged deer. I had only stayed here for the night, there were no bright rings this time around. Though on my journey to find a fan blade for my engine, I had found a planetary archive. This time I went inside and was able to speak to some of the korvax. Most of them were only there to stop for fuel, as the archive was also like a road side pit stop of sorts. This planet wasn't much to talk about, to be honest. I've come across at least five swampy planets now, and they're all pretty much the same. If a human decided to set up shop here, just be prepared for the wet heat and burning storms. I don't reccomend anyone staying here for am extended amount of time. It's very hot.

Well, there's not much I want to say about this planet. It's filled with radiation of all sorts, how it hosts any kind of life is beyond me. The animals are all sorts of weird and temperamental. Though I was able to find an outpost, granted the lifeforms there were Korvax; humanoid AIs of some sort. Humans wouldn't survive here even with the right equipment.

It's that time again, time to talk about a no good planet I've found. This is the planet Baya, a scenic, yet hellish world. I spent about a day here cooped up in an abandoned emergency unit camp. Sunset was the only time I could go out and see the sights, as it was then that the firestorm subsided. Yeah, this planet has firestorms, and there's no sugarcoating just how painful it is. I was lucky enough to land during a firestorm, then had to get out and run to the emergency camp. My suit took most of the damage, but I was still left with a hefty burn up the side of my leg. Anyways, despite the firestorm, this planet is... charming. The animals are friendly enough, though I'd steer clear of the hell cats. The trees here remind me of the palm trees on Earth, it makes me wonder if this planet was once like home. Oh, and I do not reccomend this planet for a permanent base.

Urst Minor, so far this has been my favorite planet I've visited. I spent about a month here, and while it was beautiful as it was peaceful, I'm not sure if I would return. Don't get me wrong, this planet is nearly perfect. Nearly. There's no storms, no Sentinels, and no angry animals, in fact, there's no land animals at all. The only sentient life I've seen are small birds that fly so high above that you'd barely notice they're there. I did set up a small base on top of one of the floating islands, and I hope it'll become someone's forever home. This planet is not for me. Though, I do reccomend it for other humans, there is nothing wrong with this world. It's only my own loneliness creeping up on me. But I can't say that, my crew is somewhere out there, and they'll find me once this mission done with.

My time on this planet was short. I had only stayed the night, if only to see the giant rings in the sky. The animals here were quite strange; some had little glowing mushrooms on their backs, and others had odd bug-looking faces. The days weren't much to write about, the constant suffocating fog covered most of what I could see. The nights though, they were beautiful. The small spots of mushrooms would glow, the animals were more active, and the fog would lift. The rings were the main attraction though, I'd never admit it to the crew, but that was the only reason I stopped here. The rings provided most of the nighttime light, and I'm pretty sure it would be pitch black without them. Makes me wish Earth had rings of it's own.

Makar. For all the time I've spent on this planet I couldn't wait to leave it. It's a dry, desert planet, home to strange mantis-crab creatures and frequent superheated wind storms. I did try to build a base in one of the larger caves, though I never got far with it. The nights often drop into temperatures deep below zero, and my suits insulation can only do so much at that point. Sometime into my 4th day on Makar I found a planetary archive; a large building meant to host the history of a world. I didn't go in, and that was the only evidence I'd found of intelligent life living on this planet. I will admit, I had rather high hopes for this planet when I first landed. But now I know this place isn't suitable for the vast majority of human life. Even though there are little lakes and ponds of water scattered about the land, I doubt any sensible human would want to permanently live here.
