So is there like anyway to viably get the sims 2 ultimate collection anymore

I cleared out my old laptop and mistakenly uninstalled it, and with the release of the legacy edition it’s basically impossible to get the UC by the usual means

I’m not shilling out to EA for a worse version of the game 😭

Idk why, but I’m laughing at the assumption that The Sims CC community only thrived bc people could profit off of their work, and like, there were three other games b4 The Sims 4… do y’all think we were just passing around 1 wavy hairstyle, and taking turns or something?

The year is 2013, you’ve just finished scrolling through your dashboard catching up on your favorite sim stories, when Newsea drops Disco Heaven, but wait, the original textures are too harsh, so you check up on your go-to hair retexturer and download it from there instead. You also see that Rusty Nail released a set of Louboutins, which is great! They will go perfect with that dress you downloaded from Modish Kitten the other day.

Now you’re ready to turn on The Sims 3, you load your St. Claire save, wait forty minutes, load CAS, wait another ten minutes, then put Disco Heaven retextured by Beaverhausen on your favorite sim, and it’s perfect, literally the best your sim has ever looked, even the 5-head is pretty minimal.

Then you snap a couple screenshots, and post it on simblr, and realize everyone else’s sim is also wearing Disco Heaven by Newsea, all is right in the world. 🥲
