Roleplayer~

Personality: Friendly, lively, outgoing. Has lots of energy and loves to stay active. Loves the thrill of adventure and travelling. Self-described “wandering fool”. Loves helping others with tasks and fights. A dreamer and loves learning about ancient histories and mysteries of magic.

Fears/weaknesses: Can at times have a short temper. When he is upset or hurt however has a tendency to shut down and become quiet. Also does not take rejection very well. Perhaps due to being a Tia can be territorial at times.

History: He was originally born to the S tribe of the seeker of sun miqo’tes, but most of their tribe was either wiped out or flushed out of their homeland by the Garlean empire. He grew up in western Thanalan in one of the refugee camps there. These camps were quite volatile and had fights break out all of the time due to lack of food, shelter, etc. S’alem ended up in one of these fights. He was trying to fight off an attacker with a knife and ended up getting stabbed in the neck and then he fled. He stumbled through the hot thanalan dessert, holding a hand over the wound in his neck, as he slowly bled out. He eventually collapsed on one of the main roads into the city of Ul’dah, outside of the gates. A generous passerby found him and some approaching wolves that had smelled the trail of his blood were beginning to surround him. She chased the wolves away and called one of the gate guards to help her with his body. Due to him being an obvious refugee, the guard did not want to help at first, but the woman talked him into it explaining that she would pay for his medical treatment until he was well enough to leave.

Later he awoke in the city hospital, and when he was well enough to leave, found himself wandering the streets of the huge Ul’dahan city. He kept getting lost and later discovered the indentity of the generous woman who saved his life. He followed her scent and eventually approached her, she was a keeper of the moon miqo’te. She helped him find his way around the city as well as gave him some gil to get himself started within the city. He was able to buy himself some clothing/weapons and enrolled at the black mage’s guild. From there his journey began, but he became infatuated with this mysterious moon miqo’te woman who was his “saviour”.
