The Nostalgia Critic's Review of the Grinch

I will try my best not to allow bias to take over this review of a review...

‎...wow, this was weak. The very idea of rhyming your review is so unfunny and after a while you're praying for it just to stop. Also, the excuses he gives for not liking it are so petty and nitpicky, for example, he complains about how annoying The Grinch character is, despite the fact that he's supposed to be annoying, as he is, well, the fucking Grinch. Another example would be how he feels the town in corruptive and mean, but that just adds to the idea of changing everyone's minds about the spirit of christmas. Everyone finally looks past their demeanour and realises their wrongdoing. As well as this, he never properly elaborates his problems, purely because he's relying on his aformentioned rhyming review bullshit and can't really explain what it is he isn't fond of. In all, I understand it's just his opinion and that we're supposed to laugh at it instead of comparing. But the review is just so much more about hating the film than making fun of it, and that's what pisses me off. The best parts of the review were when I could actually see what was happening in the movie before his screaming interrupted it.

2 Things I believe TNA Needs Atm.

Pretty obvious the first thing I would be posting is ranting on wrestling.

1) They need to take Impact and their PPVs on the road. The Impact Zone has become one of the most lifeless, dull, un-enthusiastic pile of sheep I've ever seen. As if that wasn't bad enough, they can only fit like 200 people inside the arena, and it gives the whole show a very independent feel to it, which isn't really good considering these are the guys that are meant to be competition for WWE.

2) They need to learn that imitating other companies by hiring previous wrestlers and personalities isn't going to hold the company in place for much longer. A prime example of this is Hulk Hogan. TNA has allowed his ego and demands to run rampant on their booking and writing, and as a result, have lowered ratings and turned away long-time fans in the thousands. This isn't what companies are meant to be doing, they need to think of something original, something different that generate major fan interest, and run with it for years, not take orders from a guy who is completely out of touch with today's product and would rather see his friends be big stars like in the old days than allow younger generations to show what they can do and achieve a lot in this business.
