Since they announced a ceasefire more than 900 people from my community have been killed as a result of Israeli violations and families continue to lose their loved ones day after day Two days ago was an incredibly painful day for me I lost my cousin Ahmed Ali who has now joined his wife and three children who were killed in the Nuseirat massacre in central Gaza in March 2024

I was afraid the place would be bombed while we slept, and that I would die with my body exposed. Death itself was not the scariest part. I lived this fear every single day for two years of war. I survived, but my city Gaza lost more than 72,000 people, and over 175,000 were injured.
