beneath her black mask, sculpted eyebrows raised as the suited man-boy began sputtering any thought that came to his head. she listened, amused.Ā āi wouldnāt use the term fanā¦ā she went to correct him, but he was already off on a tangent. in the midst of his ramble, felicia had time to make a perfect get away- he was so distracted she could have slipped right from under him and took off through the window herself without him noticing. gloved fingers even checked her belt for a grappling hook, feeling the cool metal even through the latex.Ā ācat burglar-ā she stepped in to correct again but bit her tongue. feliciaās brows then knitted together and then she was being hit by something insanelyā¦.sticky. she glanced down to investigate but before she could get a clear look she was being yanked in his direction. felicia stumbled on her feet for a moment, but a plan ripened in her head, and she obediently allowed him to tug her in his direction until she pushed herself flush against his chest.Ā āoh cāmon spider-ā she taunted delicately, walking gloved fingers up his chest.Ā āiāve broken people out of prison countless timesā¦if you think putting me in there will make it anymore difficult for an escapeā¦ā she trailed off, looking past him at the window, pondering. he had those webs, even if she jumped he could catch herā¦but not if she was smart. she looked back at his masked face, cobalt eyes glimmering beneath the framing of her own mask.Ā
āi only took what was rightfully mine. it was my fathers jewel that was stolen from himā¦.before he died,ā felicia explained delicately, trying to keep him here long enough by drawing him in with a pitifully convincing lie. if she was going down, he was certainly going down with her. bad public image- hah! Ā she knew all about spiderman, she insanely fascinated with him, actually. never did she think heād cross her path as his criminal taste seemed to be a bitā¦bigger than she. so she payed her strings carefully, only plucking to the point of winning his trust. ā-certainly you must understand what itās like to lose someone who means a lot to you, spider.ā felicia slowly started to shrug off the backpack so she could get it on the floor. maybe if she could kick it towards the windowā¦.Ā
Though the action had seemed like the smart thing to do at the time, Spidey quickly came to regret pulling the cat burglar, as she called herself, towards him. The way in which she spidered her gloved fingers up his chest, and pressed herself up against him was enough to throw him into a confused daze. And God her words made it even worse! The way she kept calling him Spider,Ā and the tale she weaved that he was sure was a lie, but that he wanted so greatly to believe. He could feel himself preparing to give in and let her go...
"No!" He said, shaking his head. "I'm not going to fall for that! I mean, hey, I know I dress like an idiot but that doesn't mean I am one!" In the intent of getting her away from him so as to prevent her from doubling down on her attempts to use her feminine charm to pave a way out of this situation, Spidey gave her a small push, but it only took him a very short second to realize just how foolish that action was; he had created separation betweenĀ her and himself, and he was certain she would waste no timeĀ in making him regret it. Well, more than he already did..
