synopsis: waking them up at 3am just to ask if they love u.

warnings: clingy reader, slightly suggestive in yuzuha's, but besides that none really! no set timeline. gn!reader. not proofread!

a/n: this is so cute in theory, but i would probably fight if this happened to me irl!! anyways, i was sad and wanted to write somethin' cute. also, my first time writing for my yuzuha n i lost my mind.. expect more of her in the future!

mikey:

“manjiro..” you whisper, poking softly at his sleeping face. you knew this was a dumb idea, but sometimes you really just needed to hear it, something that would set your heart at ease. something only mikey could say. 

“mm.” is all you get, as you try to rustle him from sleep. he sleeps on his stomach, hair falling around his face like a curtain as his cheek presses against the pillow. 

“maaanjiroo.” you try again, voice a little louder this time as you poke his cheek even harder, dragging out the call of his name, giggling as you note the give of his plush skin indenting where your finger marks. so cute and so soft. 

“what?” mikey groans, shifting in his dream-like state so that he’s facing away from you, clearly annoyed. he pulls the blanket further over him as he does this, wanting to tune you out. he can’t help it, he’s sleepy. 

but you persist, moving closer and wrapping your arms around his covered form, eliciting another noise from him, but this time not so irritated. 

“i love you.” you murmur, resting your cheek on his shoulder and peering down at the tufts of blond hair peeking from beneath the fabric. “i love you sooo much, like i wanna explode when i look at you type of love.” 

you wait a moment before you pull the blanket down slightly. is he really not gonna say it back? you pull him down, forcing him onto his back. you pout, when you make eye contact with him. drowsy, black eyes peer up into yours with a dust of red on the tops of his cheeks. 

“do you love me, mikey?” you whisper, a little hurt he still hasn’t said it yet. 

he nods, before he brings his hands up to cup your cheek. “yeah, i love you a lot.” he gives a languid smile and you beam. 

“more than anything?” you ask, excitement tinting your voice, mood already brightened.

“yeah.” he yawns, head nodding as he answers your question.

“more than sleep?” you inquire with a tilt of your head that sets mikey’s heart racing. 

“mhm.” he hums.

“even taiyaki?” you press, readying the list of his favorite things, other than you of course. 

“mm, that one’s kind of a stretch.“ he quips, eyes filled with mirth, lips curling up into a bigger smile. 

“hey..” you frown, but mikey continues, pulling you in and hugging you a little harder in his embrace. 

“c’mon, let’s sleep. i’m sleepy.” he sighs, slinging his leg over you as he turns to spoon you, making sure you’ll sleep this time. 

“okay,” you resign, settling into his warm embrace. it’s not often mikey’s the big spoon, so you try your best to not pester him more. whenever you are like this, it’s snug and comfortable, cozy and reassuring. you close your eyes to try and let sleep take you. 

“…but by the way, my babu is really important-“

“mikey!” 

baji: 

baji had fallen asleep before you, mumbling something about how he’d tell you all about his day with toman tomorrow once he rested up. 

but there was something itching in you, some annoying that wracked your brain and crept up on you during the early morning hours like this. you peered over at his sleeping form, one arm flung above his head while the other laid on his midriff. he was snoring pretty loudly and you could see his pearly fangs under the moonlight. 

you couldn’t sleep, your insecurity gnawing at you from inside, so you turned to fully face him tapping on his side. 

“kei.. wake up,” you mumbled, inching closer to his sleeping face. 

unconsciously, the hand that was on his belly flings up to swat you away. there’s no power behind it and it is just an unconscious reaction, but it turns that insecurity into annoyance. 

“…oi.” you hiss, but the sound of your voice has his hand flying up again. you scoff, before taking his pointer finger and biting down. 

“what the fuck!” he yelps, amber eyes shot open at the pressure. at first he’s confused, but when he glances down he barks a laugh at you, your face contorted in anger as you nibble on him. “let go, dummy, i’m awake.”

he uses his free hand to flick at your forehead and you release. laying your head on his chest, you look up at him, feeling the rise and fall of his body and hearing the beat of his heart. 

“so, whatcha want?” he asks, fully awake from your little love bite. baji’s eyes are always soft when he looks at you, like he’s staring at the whole world. 

“do you love me?” you ask, pouting and blinking up at him with puppy dog eyes. 

baji ponders for a second, before poking your cheek. “do birds fly?” 

“seriously, kei!” you whine, shifting up and wrapping your arms around his neck. “do you love me?” you ask with such earnesty that something in baji’s chest blooms, and it blooms with such intensity he can’t help but cup the back of your head and bring you in for a kiss. 

his lips on yours are soft and when he pulls away, the grip on your hair lessened, you realize the silliness of your insecurity. but baji wants to make sure you hear it too. 

“i love you,” he grins, a finger touching the tip of your nose, “a little too much.” 

you smile, little pin pricks of tears lining your eyes and baji groans.

“one minute you’re biting my hand off, the next you’re crying… you make no sense.” he grumbles, playing with your hair in one hand. you hum when he tugs, melting a bit into his embrace. “you good?”

you nod, laying your head back onto his chest, “‘m good.” you sigh as you settle back into place, eyes closing at the feeling of baji’s hand running through your hair. he always knows what relaxes you best, he always knows that each fleeting thought in your head is best subdued with his own affirmations. what a dumb thought to have, of course he loved you. “love you so much, kei.” 

“i know.” he continues to play with your hair, fingers intertwining with your locks. he watches you with such warmth, you could say that he was the sun. 

“by the way, they don’t all fly,” you smirk, trying to stifle a laugh, “so that question was a little lame.” 

his hand pauses and even with your eyes shut, you can see his face contort in confusion. “huh?” 

“penguins. kiwis. ostriches. emus. none of those fly.” you snicker, “google it.” 

you feel him reach over for his phone on the nightstand. it only takes a few more moments for him to unlock his phone and look it up, but you can’t control your laugh when you hear him groan and say, “are you fuckin’ kidding me?!” 

yuzuha: 

you were always begging your girlfriend to watch a movie with you. every night without fail, she’d agree, rolling her eyes when you’d suggest a romcom for the nth night in a row. but you always thought yuzuha was so pretty when she laughed, the way her eyes crinkled and she’d look back at you as if to say “did that really just happen?” but there was also the way she'd seek your hand out in the more serious parts of the movie, squeezing wordless affirmations into your veins.

and your heart always skipped a thousand beats when she did. really, watching a movie with her was just an excuse to steal as many glances at her as you wanted as she was too distracted to notice. tonight was no different, the two of you giggling and cuddling away under the blanket. 

near the end of the movie, yuzuha had fallen asleep on the other side of the couch, her long strawberry locks cascading over the side of her face as she slept. you sat there, in the dark, watching the end credits when a sudden wave of sadness hit. 

it wasn’t the first time she’d fallen asleep on you, and you had fallen asleep on her a couple times as well, but you were still a little somber. you crawl over, wrapping your arms around her and she shifts in her sleep. 

“mm?” she blinks with sleep laden eyes, a little upturned smile when she notices it’s you. 

“yuzu..” you whisper, burying your face into her neck as her arms come around to hold you. 

“what’s up, angel?” she mumbles into your hair, rubbing her cheek against it. 

“do you love me?” you ask, still pressed against her neck. your breath fans across her skin and she giggles, telling you “that tickles!” but you huff again, not only from annoyance but because her giggle is like a birdsong.

“yuzuha..” you whine, as she continues to giggle, body trembling. you glance up at her both your faces tinted red, noses so close they’re almost touching, “do you love me?” 

“more than you could ever know.” she proclaims and you swear her golden eyes are twinkling. “what about you? do you love me?” she asks, tilting her head a little. 

“more than hakkai loves mitsuya… probably.” you tease and she scoffs, before closing the distance and pressing her lips against yours. the two of you continue to press kiss after kiss, even as the movie credits roll to an end and all the light that’s left is the slight illumination from the tv. 

you don’t even hear the shuffling of feet across the floor, too immersed in the plushness of yuzuha’s lips against yours. it’s not until you hear a particularly disgusted groan that you pull away, looking up right up at hakkai, holding an empty glass and is slightly turned to face the hallway wall. 

“if you’re gonna suck face, can’t you do it in your room sis?” hakkai asks, trying his best to not look at you. 

“oops.” she says, blinking up at her brother, “sorry about that.”

you pull off of yuzuha, face heating up in embarrassment. “sorry hakkai,” you say sheepishly, before you feel the tug of your girlfriend’s hand on yours, pulling you up off the couch. she winks at you as you interlock hands, starting the trek back to her room.

I wrote a little blurb about Kuras yesterday. Maybe I’ll make this into it’s own fic if it’s popular enough

Kuras woke up in a cold sweat, mind slowly making the transition from asleep to awake. He remembers now why he avoids sleeping, his nights filled with nightmares of events long passed, things he cannot change but desperately wishes he could. Now, memories of losing the one he loves most because of his perceived incompetence.

Suddenly, it becomes clear. He lost the one he loved, who worked so hard to bring him from the depths of self-inflicted torment, telling him that attempting to repent would not save him in the way he so craved.

He settled down when he felt them shift in his arms, squeezing them just a small bit tighter, ever so careful not to wake them. You were here, with him, safe as one could be in Lowtown. Kuras felt his eyes burn with unshed tears, needing desperately to feel them beside him, to know that this isn’t a deluded fantasy and that this is real life. This is his real life, and he feels ever so lucky.

God kuras is just so gorgeous. And sad. I kinda like sad men. But otherwise yeah please request for Touchstarved I am so down bad for everyone.

-Say LESS anon <3 Honestly I love good old Al in armor content out there because there’s so much he CAN do and it’s an added little restriction that lets me stretch my writing muscles a bit :D

-Okay siblings, and kids in general, are little gremlins (said with all my love) who will absolutely spoil secrets if they get the chance, even unintentionally.

-So kids love Al, it’s canon I don't make the rules.

-Little sister would keep asking why you act differently around Al, and why your face is red when you talk. Sometimes right in front of Al and Ed, which makes Ed cackle and Al awkwardly flail because he doesn’t know what to do.

-Al sort of just writes it off, he’s had some experience with kids and knows how kids can be. (Like Maes’s daughter calling Al “big brother” and Ed “little brother” because Al is a 7 foot tall suit of armor and Ed is, of course, shorter. I love that scene so much.)

-Ed knows that Al likes you, but has kept to himself out of respect for his little brother. It’s getting on his nerves that you guys won't talk to each other about it though.

-Now, little sister adores Ed. He doesn’t think about it too much, after all she’s a kid, but he doesn’t really entertain it.

-“I appreciate the thought kid, but you gotta find someone your own age, okay? We can be friends.” With some head pats and a smile.

-She was upset about it for a few hours then they were back to being friends again with no hard feelings. Kids are just like that.

-Now, sister snitched to Ed, probably knowing exactly what she was doing.

-Al was luckily not there, and you had left the two alone for less than 5 minutes.

-Ed would probably bring it up when you were alone, if sister didn’t bring it up when you got back.

-He wouldn’t confront you, per se, but he’d have a calm conversation about it and it would be quickly resolved.

-He likes you, and thinks you’re good for his brother. The fact that he even let you close enough to form a good relationship is evidence.

-Now, onto Al himself.

-After Ed finds out, he keeps it to himself. He knows Al wouldn’t want Ed to intervene and “embarrass” him.

-Ed begrudgingly keeps it quiet, but schemes with little sister to put you two in situations where you might have to confess.

-It doesn’t work.

-What does push you two to confess is Ed and Al getting into danger. Ed needed some minor automail repairs and Al’s armor was majorly damaged, but the damage was repairable.

-It took a few days for Winry to come out to fix Ed’s automail so that he could properly repair Al’s armor, so he was stuck for a few days.

-You spent as much time with him as possible, clearly distressed about the incident, even if Al wasn’t too upset about it

-When you finally bring up your concern, Al was nervous but again didn’t see too much of a problem with it.

-It leads to a really sweet confession but he is mildly insecure, after all, he’s a 14 year old boy in a 7 foot tall suit of armor.

-He’s not sure that he’s what you want, because he’s all too aware of what he lacks.

-He’s not too aware, though, of what he does have. He’s a lovely person with a big heart and his insecurity eclipses that.

-When you finally reassure him and make it known, everyone is so happy.

-Ed and your little sister go “FINALLY”

-Little sister says “Does this mean I get to call you big brother now?” With wide eyes and a happy smile.

-If Al could blush his face would be STEAMING.

Update

Hey all! It’s been a long while. My health hasn’t been the best but I’ve been meaning to get back into writing. It has been a fun way to fight the burnout of school stuff. I’ve been taking notes for hours a day (mostly because I demand to have good notes lol) and Im barely keeping up. But, Im glad! In other good news, I have an iPad now!!! I have a case with a keyboard so I can write more now, and from more places! I’m pretty excited about it!

-On a less positive note, he can be kind of overbearing at times

-But if you tell him how you feel, he does his best to fix it

Little Update for you all <3

Hello hello!

I want to apologize for my absence, I've had a lot of personal stuff going on that's been affecting my mental health severely. I think about this blog all the time but almost never have the energy to write ;; It's been a lot going on, and I've been sick a lot because of it. More often than not, I'm laying in bed or on the couch since I don't feel well enough to function. The meds I'm on help a lot, but they only do so much.

On a more positive note, I am also back in school! This is something I've wanted to do for a few years since I took a break and Im so happy I did, but it takes up some time.

(Btw to the anon who sent me the most recent ask, I have not forgotten you! That piece you requested is in the works!)

With that being said, my ask box is still open! I may not get to your requests right away, but I do regularly check this blog, even if I don't really feel like writing.

Tl;dr: I have not forgotten this blog and am absolutely not planning to abandon it, I just have a lot going on right now haha, but the ask box is still open.

Omg ur not diagnosed either? :o i say i have ehlers danlos because its super likely and my brothers have it. I was supposed to get bloodwork but then covid hit. Upon hearing how easily i broke my foot frequent sprains and such the doctor did say to treat me as if i have it though. Hopefully we can get it diagnosed soon! Good luck to you!

No, struggling getting a diagnosis is pretty common, actually! ^^ I'm pretty sure I have POTS, but there were a few other things I actually suggested before I ended up on that. I actually wanted to get testing for Ehlers-Danlos too! I also had a lot of frequent ankle injuries growing up LOL. My insurance didn't think testing was necessary, so I don't have a definite answer yet though. Thank you! Good luck to you as well! <3

Kiss Prompt 31: with Marius Von Hagen

Prompt 31: Pulling away from a kiss, whispering words of love against each other’s lips.

A few months into your relationship, Marius asked for you two to live together. It had been discussed a bit, moreso an agreement that, eventually, you two would move in together. But neither of you had a time frame in mind. It wasn’t entirely surprising that he would ask eventually, so you had naturally agreed. You two regularly stayed the night at each other’s apartments, so it wasn’t that huge of a change.

Once everything was settled and a time and date were agreed upon, it had finally set in. You were moving in with your boyfriend. You wouldn’t have separate lives anymore. It was terrifying, but equally exciting! You couldn’t wait.

Actually living together was, surprisingly, easy. You two had similar schedules for the most part, waking up at early hours, being out most of the day, and spending time together after work. You had known he was clingy, but after moving in together, he got even more clingy. It was honestly adorable to you. He often came home whining about how his day had been lonely without you, and all but leaning his entire weight on you, leaning as far as he needed to rest his head on your shoulder.

Which is how you got into the position you are now. Marius, essentially laying on you, resting his head on your chest with his arm around your waist, and you running your fingers through his hair. The sheets were soft and smelled of a light detergent, Marius’s hair was soft and smelled of whatever shampoo he uses. It was unfairly comfortable.

 Marius squeezed you, before leaning up and placing a light kiss on your lips, stunning you. He pulled away, whispering words of love that only the two of you could hear. You loved this man so much. He was like the sun, bright, shining, warm, and often far too warm for comfort, but you love it all the same.

Moving in together was probably the best idea you both had.
