I should become more active here again 😭 man studies are KILLING me, I study from 8am to 6pm and gosh is it tiring (i feel like this word exists right?). Thank God it's my last year in this course.

AND YES YOU'RE WERE 100% RIGHT I LOVE TO KNOW YOU'RE GETTING INTO DRAWING!!! I love art. You don't know how much. Any form of art. Dancing, singing, acting, painting, drawing. I could admire them for hours and hours. And of course writing. I love how you guys can just put your hearts into things and produce so many emotions. Besides how you can be so creative and create a whole new history and universe to put out there. Any artist who can use their favorite form of art to express themselves and show it to the world makes me incredible happy.

A little Yoonchip!! I kind of really like this one if I'm being honest. If I remember correctly it was supposed to be her in some au or fic that I read but honestly I don't even remember which one it was 😭 but I think it's cute so here it is!

And a really fun fact!! There's a Brazilian au on twitter that's like Katseye in pjo (Percy Jackson) universe. It's Meichae and it's reallyyyy good. I'm a huge pjo fan so I got inspired and made a bunch of drawings of Meichae there and been sending them to the author and she's been the sweetest.

So now I present you: Yoonchae as a child of Hades and Megan as a child of Hephaestus

I don't really like this one that much but I guess it captures how screwed up Yoonchae is in this au (like her life is real shit [until Megan appears...])

Ok so Megan's shirt says "I have a super dad" lol it's the shirt she's using when Yoonchae first meets her. I also don't like this one that much but it still has its good parts and as I said I'm a HUGE fan of pjo so I can keep a blind eye on things I don't like

This one I guess it would be a older child of Hades! Yoonchae. More mature, more used to being a demigod and things like that. I gave her a little "M" necklace indicating this is post Canon and she's already with Megan and the author answering me saying: "plot twist: Megan crafted the necklace" (in this universe she's a blacksmith!!)

And lastly

Another little Mei with the Camp Half Blood shirt. Author described this with "that's how I imagine her when she's free and out of the forge"

This one's is smaller and weirder cause I drew it on my desk when bored in class lol. But still camper Yoonchae.

My goodiest good night my friend! (Ps. That goodiest was not the English Not Being My First Language thing it was just me being silly but I don't know if that works in English). Or good morning, afternoon, I don't really know!

First of all: I really like talking to you, you're so nice 😭 at first I felt a little intimidated by you but wow I'm so happy we're actually a lot alike cause YEAH I HEARD ABOUT YOUR THAI GL OBSESSION AND I USED TO HAVE ONE TOO.

I don't really watch that much gl anymore cause I've been busy and tired, but I used to watch a lot of gl too and actually was there when the pioneer was born (GAP the series you'll be remembered forever) but coincidentally I believe the last one I watched was 23,5! SO YES I LOVE LUNA AND AYLIN 🥹😭

I really liked ongsa and sun but I would always watch it and be like "wow so like where are de Aylin and Luna scenes in this episode...". They are soooo cute. I have a thing for second couples (it's bad cause I'll be obsessed with them but they'll have 1 scene per chapter or only mentions. Worse if the main couple is really good and then you open ao3 and even there the second couple is still... A second couple.). I used to read so many Aylin and Luna fics on ao3.

I really liked them in the series 🥹 I read the novel of 23,5 before watching the series and fun fact! They don't exist there. So when they got announced I was like "? Okay I guess" but they made the series soooo much better it's crazy. My tml on Twitter used to go crazy over them (me included).

I loved how Luna really tried to understand and be with Aylin, and how they had a language of their own. And the way Aylin felt so comfortable with her? Cutest thing. I really like how slow but constant their romance was, it felt really natural and they had really nice chemistry (and to think they hate each other in real life... Yeah that tracks). And the fact Luna means Moon and Aylin means The One Who Belongs To The Moon? 🥹 Sorry I really really really like this couple too. A part of me wanted a spinoff series but is too afraid of them being ruined.

And there's not a single problem in it being random lol! I really liked that one and it's a nice chance to talk about this sort of stuff you don't get to talk so easily irl. So please keep sending random things I'm all for it! I have a PhD in rambling and yapping, so feel free whatever you like!

The hair is seriously so so so cute. The stars too. I really like your art style! I could see you doing really cool drawings of a lot of characters and other things. I like it now having a face cause 1- sometimes it's really hard to draw a face so I totally get it lol and 2- we could get really deep and say how some things don't need to be seen to be felt and how sometimes all you need is vibes and good intentions

I don't use Tumblr that much and I saw your ask but I've been drawing A LOT of meichae the last few weeks and thought to myself "why not accumulate a lot of these drawings and maybe have something nice to show to that ask?".

First of all THANK YOU SO MUCH you don't know how happy it made me 😭 art is something really important to me and I have a lot of insecurities about it so you taking your time to send me this was really really really appreciated by me you don't know how much.

So, as I said, I've been kind of drawing them nonstop the past few weeks. I'm finally on vacation from my technical course and found a little sketchbook at home and remembered I draw so I thought why not

Ok so this one I did a few days after I did the first one! It's rookie meichae again! I swear, Rookie has me like a wife waiting for her husband to come back from war. I miss it so much. After a while I came back to it and added the arm things cause I think it looks cool lol. I actually kinda like this drawing it's simple and has a lot of weird things going on but I think it's cute.

Now I'm not sure if this was what I drew next or if I'm skipping something. Doesn't matter! This one is rookie yoonchae again (rookie meichae... Come back to me rookie meichae...) she's questioning volleyball. This one is kind of a silly one, I didn't look up anything just trusted the anatomy I pulled off of my ass and ran with it. I don't really care about this one that much. It's cute I guess.

Now, this one right here is one of my absolute favorites. It's Yoonchae! I know it doesn't really look like her and could be literally anyone but it's her! I used her clothes and everything. I really like her style and how comfortable her clothes look. So I just wanted to draw her in one of my favorite looks she used and voila! Here you go

Ok so this one is funny. When I started drawing this one, it was supposed to be Yoonchae. But I was reallyyyy struggling with the hair and when I finally gave up and just got this one, I looked at her and thought "that's just Megan." If we're being specific, rookie Megan (yeah.. rookie meichae is worse than drugs). So I just said "fuck It it's Megan now" and voila here we have team captain Megan Skiendiel!

This one is also one of my favorites! I love love love this one! Here we have Megan, and she kinda gives me skater boy vibes here. I drew this while in my chemistry class that I was definitely not paying attention (I hate chemistry) so I drew two Megan's (the other one is in the corner in my paper of questions... Yeah. I hate chemistry).

Another Megan! It's funny that by how much I draw Megan no one imagines that I take 3 hours to get her hair acceptable. I like her hair and her jacket here but don't know what the heck happened to her legs.

This one is another little yoonchip! There's not much behind it, but I like this one. I think the lines look good and she looks comfy.

This one is one of my favorites too. It's just the two of them, in a more alternative look, using the same pants but somehow looks completely different on the two of them. It's one of my favorites cause I particularly imagine them like that in a lot of fics when I'm reading. I'm a sucker for the rock/alternative/cool style

I truly do love your art and art style, it not only just looks super cool, but suits them I feel. my favorite I think (they all are though if i’m being honest) is either that first one, or the one with the post it’s. the colour of them makes it look really cool, and idk call me a writer but it almost could symbolize how megan isn’t perfect, because hell, who is?

anyways thank you! and if you felt happy from that ask, just know I shot out of my chair while eating breakfast, after reading that you’ve looked at my works. Spectres alignments!!!

I love how episode 103 illustrates the alignments of the misfits` spectres.

For example, Eulalie and Morella have benevolent spectres, and they are most supportive of Lenore when she plans to escape from the academy.

Berenice is the only malevolent one, she actively opposes Lenore's plan.

Finally, Duke and Pluto have neutral spectres, they do not express their opinions until they are directly asked, trying to stay on the sidelines and remain neutral to the last.

It is equally interesting that Berenice is the one who pushes Pluto to express his point of view, and Lenore asks Duke – perhaps it`s a hint that they both have malevolent spectres.

I just know in the middle of all the chaos and grief that Glinda is experiencing post defying gravity, she hears about what happened to Governor Thropp and a little part of her thinks, "Oh, some good news, at least."

So I was rereading Nevermore and I kept thinking about the difference in character dynamics between Lenore and Annabel Lee in the flashbacks and in Nevermore Academy. I always kinda felt like there was some sort of mirroring going on and I think I am beginning to see a bit of a bigger picture in it.

What interests me the most is that Annabel Lee and Lenore, while staying the same people with the same personalities, have switched rolls completely after they died. I will jabber about this now.

Annabel Lee and Lenore have like I just said kept their personalities. Both pre- and postmortem Annabel Lee are bored by most things, silly and cheeky to the bone (probably to cope with her boredom and anxiety), careful, calculative and a manipulative people pleaser who thinks it's better for herself to mask all the time. She seeks barely anything except for a game, gambit or other thrill that can distract her for a second.

Lenore is both pre- and postmortem a stubborn, headstrong, straight forward and brave woman, who acts mostly out of impulse and really doesn't care to see the greater picture, who keeps letting her pride and temper get the better of her. She hates playing games, jumping around the bush and pretending to be someone she's not (character wise, impersonation is on the table).

Now here it gets more interesting. Like I said, the two of them switched roles entirely.

Lenore was the one who had nothing to lose except for Annabel when they were alive, Annabel has nothing to lose except for Lenore now that they're dead.

It was Lenore who burned down her family estate and did seemingly not care about the staff possibly burning to death. It was Lenore who got desperate and willing to throw everything away when it seemed like Annabel would be lost to her. It was Lenore who decided to be someone else (Leo) so that she and Annabel can get a happy ending. It was Lenore who was a threat to the things that Annabel had to lose and assumed/hoped Annabel would be okay with it. Meanwhile Annabel Lee made it clear to Lenore that she can't misbehave too much, that her disposition and the status of her father are a top priority to her, something Lenore completely ignored by showing up as a man and proposing to Annabel, making a fool out of Annabel and her father if it ever came out.

Annabel is the one with nothing to lose now. She made it clear from the start that she's not here to make friends and will throw each and every person that isn't Lenore under the bus the very moment it is convenient. It is her, who's willing to give her life if Lenore doesn't trust her. It is her freaking out completely when Lenore seems to be lost to her. It is her deciding she will pretend to be someone completely different to get a happy end with Lenore. It is Annabel who is a Danger to the things Lenore has to lose, because she assumes/hopes Lenore has the same dedication to their relationship. Lenore however now has friends that she cares about deeply and has made this clear to Annabel.

I think this is also a big part of why Annabel is so okay with ignoring that Lenore said her friends were important. Because Annabel thinks she perfectly knows Lenore and that Lenore will get over a few casualties and not care that much in the end. She thus far remembers only the Lenore who is willing to go over a few corpses to be with her, she does not remember why Lenore was like that. She may remember that there was noone to care about for Lenore, she does however not remember just how desperate Lenore's situation used to be and that her actions have been made not only out of love but also out of that exact desperation.

I am excited to see if this will continue and how or if they will break out of the very uneven codependency that followed them into death.
