“Dragon” is the universal term for the numerous sauropsidian inhabitants of the Dragon Macrocosm Dragons come in all different shapes, sizes and Intelligence levels anywhere from small Squat Dragons to lumbering Ancient Dragons to cunning Cockatrice to the classic majestic King Dragons to horrific monstrosities to cataclysmic Titan Dragons everywhere.
Dragons are naturally violent, aggressive, cruel (by human standards), selfish, vain, generally unemotional (by human standards), and battle hungry creatures who highly value individuality, personal strength and self sufficiency generally looking down on Dragons who rely on others outside of healers because you can't effectively fight if your legs and arms are broken.
Dragons have a blasé attitude towards death generally killing or witnessing others die with very little emotional response aside from a “oh this place isn't as safe as i thought” kind of response unless it's someone they're close to or someone that's young (even then that's not always the case Dragons are reptiles after all and non archosaurian reptiles don't tend to take care of their young.)
All Dragons grow hostile and aggressive when seeing a non Dragon creature commonly referred to as a Scaleless with even the calmest of Dragons becoming uncharacteristically aggressive in the presence of Scaleless.
Dragons more so than any group of creatures are a vastly broad classification with many different types of Dragons these being as follows:
King Dragons (traditional western Dragons)
Daiō Dragons (traditional eastern Dragons)
Drakes (wingless Dragons)
Wyrms (Snakes and similar sauropsidians)
Fae Dragons (small Dragons who pretty much are the bugs of Dragons)
Tyrant Dragons (Megatheropods)
Spine Dragons (Spinosaurs and relatives)
Scythe Claws (Therozinasaurs and relatives)
Horn Faces (Ceratopsians)
Fused Lizards (Ankylosaurians)
Plated Lizards (Spinosaurians)
Dome Skulls (Patchycephelosaurs and relatives)
Billed Dragons (Hadrosaurs and other duck billed dinosaurs)
Shell Dragons (Turtles and Tortises)
Death Jaws (Crocodilians and relatives)
Demon Dragons (Dragons with four limbs and wings that have full hands)
Angel Dragons (Dragons similar to Lindwyrms that also have two wings)
Artificial Dragons (Dragons made out of artificial materials like metal, stone, candy)
Slime Dragons (Dragons made of Slime)
Undead Dragons (Dragons who either are undead or are simply Skeletons, Zombies, Vampires and the like depends on the multiverse. Can be of any other type.)
Titan Dragons (Dragons that are well titanic in size. Can be of any other type.)
All Dragons are naturally very powerful creatures completely dominating anywhere and everywhere they exist either without question or with a short lived violently answered question depending on the multiverse. The scales, feathers, pycnofibers, skin, flesh, and bones as well as whatever else is a natural part of a Dragon are all tied for the spot of the toughest, hardest, most durable material in existence with every single other material paling in comparison in every single way because of this Dragons have a tendency to make use of shed skin or other parts removed from Dragons whether that's in construction or most commonly in weapons. Along with that the claws, tail, jaws, teeth, beak and whatever other natural weaponry that Dragon has are the strongest most dangerous weapons ever to exist with the exception of weapons made from Dragon materials. All of this also has the effect of coincidentally making the majority of fights between Dragons even fights to the death end without any blood being shed as the fight typically ends before either of the Dragons manage to break the skin or otherwise draw blood and cause any bleeding whatsoever from the other.
The majority of Dragons have what is called a Breath Weapon which is the ability to fire out something from the mouth whether that be a plume of fire or a beam of holy light as long as that is fired from the mouth it's a Breath Weapon.
Dragonis is a form of energy found throughout the entire Dragon Macrocosm produced by Dragons this energy is only usable by Dragons whether consciously or not and is pretty integral in how Dragons work as every Dragon has Dragonis within it helping in various ways such as different bodily functions like how exactly a Dragon has a Breath weapon using a or how a Dragon can get psychic powers by eating a plant or how an organ can produce fire or electricity.
Dragonis is a tangible energy inside every Dragon concentrated in the soul by drawing it out Dragons can manipulate Dragonis and use it for various purposes whether consciously or unconsciously. Because there are limits to how strong an individual can get themselves it is necessary to learn how to consciously manipulate Dragonis to get stronger. Usually the stronger or more intensive the task is the more Dragonis it takes to do and thus the more the Dragon must channel in order to do it. The most common use of Dragonis is to increase one's physical capabilities and a breath weapon with this being the method used by pretty much all bestial unintellegent Dragons. The more Dragonis one gathers in one place the harder it is to control and so it is imperative for one to increase their Dragonis Control, Dragonis can also be lost when sustaining heavy damage.
The amount of Dragonis a Dragon can use changes depending on the individual's own Dragonis Pool often abbreviated to DP and sometimes referred to a Dragonis Levels. It isn't fully understood what influences a Dragons DP but things such as genetics do play a part and things such as illnesses can raise or lower Dragonis Levels to sometimes dangerous amounts. The higher a Dragon's Dragonis Levels are the more powerful the Dragon is.
When a Dragons DP is high enough then it can even affect the environment around a Dragon such as heating an area or causing plants to rapidly grow.
Dragonis normally is totally invisible but can become visible in high concentrations or in other ways. When visible, Dragonis is usually a black misty substance that can also resemble electrical streaks and flames but it can change colors it use.
A Dragon can do anything with Dragonis the only limitation being a Dragon's imagination, and the amount of Dragonis it takes to do something ultimately leading to most Dragons sticking to what comes more naturally to them for example if a Dragon is a more simple, headfirst, “point at a problem and I'll try to fix it” character they may mainly stick to enhancing their physicality and super powerful energy blasts.
Dragonis when emitted is usually aligned with one of eleven elements being Fire, Water, Ice, Electricity, Wind, Land, Psychic, Dark, Light, Life, and Death with some elements being definitively rarer than others with Fire being the most common and Ice being the rarest. Sometimes a Dragon will be able to utilize Dragonis in its purest form with this being the Dragon Element the second rarest Element outside of Ice. The Dragon Element is a sort of “Element Above Elements” having a definitive advantage over all other elements no matter what, those who specialize in the Dragon Element also tend to resist many other elements while being weak to the Dragon Element.
Some Dragons possess the ability to sense the Dragonis of other Dragons. Though this usually has to be done consciously, very high Dragonis Levels can be sensed no matter what.
DIFFERENCES BETWEEN MULTIVERSES
The Dragon Gods of this multiverse are called the Apex Dragons and are of the Independent type.
The intelligent Dragons of this multiverse are in a Paleolithic age civilization this results in the Dragons here being considerably less intelligent than other multiverses and being unable to freely manipulate Dragonis outside of what's in their instincts without some kind of “trigger” which for many are Artifacts old mysterious objects that utilize Dragonis for some purpose.
The Dragon Gods of this multiverse are called the Divine Dragons and are of the independent type.
The Dragons of this multiverse like everything else are made entirely out of computer code and data which replicates all the stuff a Dragon has on the outside but they are hollow on the inside with the only things they have below the skin being their wire frame which acts as their skeleton and their soul. Being made of computer data Dragons of this multiverse don't reproduce instead being born when a sufficient amount of data condenses into an egg this allows the Dragons of this multiverse to take on really any form.
The Dragons of the Digiconian multiverse are in a fantastical version of an information age civilization, this results in them being very intelligent on average compared to other multiverses and being readily able to freely manipulate Dragonis. Something unique to the Digiconian multiverse is that the intelligent Dragons outnumber the animalistic Dragons.
The Dragon Gods of this multiverse are called the Dragon Lords and are of the dependant type.
The intelligent Dragons of this multiverse are in a Renaissance age civilization, this results in the Dragons here being able to manipulate Dragonis but not as freely as Dragons from some other multiverses with only a relatively few number of Dragons being able to manipulate Dragonis on that level.
The Dragon Gods of this multiverse are called the Incarnation Dragons and are of the dependent type.
The Dragons of the Dragons Waging War multiverse are in an information age civilization, this results in them being very intelligent on average compared to other multiverses and being readily able to freely manipulate Dragonis outside of what's in their instincts.
The Dragon Gods of this multiverse are called the Eternal Dragons and are of the Independent type.
The Dragons of the Dragons Waging War multiverse are in an information age civilization, this results in them being very intelligent on average compared to other multiverses and being readily able to freely manipulate Dragonis outside of what's in their instincts.
While the vast, vast, VAST amount of Dragons originate from different timelines some don't originate from any timeline at all these Dragons are called Celestial Beings. Celestial Beings are typically weird and eccentric as there's no commonality between Celestial Beings aside from them being not of any specific timeline and are typically exceptionally powerful with four Celestial Beings being both the strongest and oldest entities these being the Great Celestials and their creator and de facto strongest and oldest thing to exist BAHAMUT.
