Blog Introduction

Hi! I recently realized that I am transID and this is an account that I made for that. This blog is going to be for talking about transID and for archiving terms that I think are cool.

I don't know if I'm a radqueer or not but I am rq-friendly. I'm also still figuring out my opinions on a lot of transID and radqueer related topics, and I welcome discussion about it. I want to learn more and I want to understand, but I am cisOCD with a big focus on right and wrong so I can get a little obsessive and spiral sometimes ^-^''

I am pro-transID and I am still figuring out the specifics of everything that I believe but I am trying to listen to nuance so while I wasn't okay before with trans or cis hatefuls interacing with me before I am now. But if you say anything hateful to me or if I see you saying anything hateful to someone without consent then I will block you. Because of my intrusive thoughts if you have Nazi imagery or posts on your blog I will block you and I do not care about nuance there, I am not comfortable with it. I'm still really torn on the idea of trace transition so I might be a bit uncomfortable talking with people who are trace transitioning but I do want to learn more about it so you're okay to interact.

I am still figuring out where I am with contact stances but I do not think that chrono minors can consent to sex with chrono adults and I am always pro-consent and anti-abuse and I do not want anyone who is pro-non consensual abuse to interact with me.

About Me

I am going to stay pretty anonymous on this account because I am very paranoid! But you can call me Beholder or THC. I use they/them/themself pronouns.

I am transfeedingtube and transtimezone. I have some more transIDs that I figured out now but transfeedingtube is my main one. I want to make a rentry with my transIDs listed at some point.

I am cisDID, cisPPD, cisOCD, cisNativeAmerican, cisdisabled and a chrono-adult. I have more cisIDs but I don't want to get any more specific because I am paranoid.

Philias & Eroses

Paraphilia is a word derived from Greek, literally translating to a "love" or "tendency" (-philia) that is "beside" or "beyond" (para-) the norm.

What bothers me about this, is that the philia type of love is defined as platonic; so whyever would we use it to denote a sexual attraction?

There's nothing wrong with putting words on sexual things, however, as a paraphile myself, some pf my paras are sensual, some are romantic, some are sexual, and some are multiple things. Yet, the term paraphilia doesn't denote any nuance to the attraction, officially lumping it all under sexual attraction.

So here's my proposition, based on the ancient greek types of love:
