Thanks to the king’s tournament, it had been a busy week at Tobho Mott’s shop and work had been good. Old Mott was one the few armorers in the Street of Steel who was able to work Valyrian steel and the only armorer in King's Landing who can add tint to the metals in a suit of armor without using paint so knights and lords from all over the country, all here to attend the tourney, have been flowing in and out of the shop either asking for their armors to be mended or to buy a sword, shield, anything they could afford which was almost everything. Of course, there were those who refused to come all the way downtown as well and that’s where his master was for the day - at the Red Keep serving some stuck up son of a bitch while Gendry stayed behind in the shop. He was honored that the old man trusted him enough to leave him in charge but it also meant the workload would be doubled.
When Gednry heard someone enter he was standing by the anvil, ready with a heavy sledgehammer to lay blows on a shield ordered by some knight from Gulltown. He looked up from his work, laid the sledge down and walked to the counter. “Can I help you?”
