Evangelina was scrolling through her twitter timeline when she heard the door open, and suddenly Aaron was piling on top of her. Bubbles let out a few barks and jumped on them, causing both she and Aaron to break into a fit of laughter. “Mm, hi.” Eva greeted Aaron with a kiss, smiling up at him when they pulled away. There was something about Aaron that just made Eva incredibly happy, and it was clear when she was around him. Eva noticed the pint of rocky road ice cream that he’d set on the night stand and she leaned in for another kiss. “You are seriously the best.” Eva told him. 

She grabbed the pint from the table and walked over to the freezer, putting it away for later. Eva noticed Aaron’s eyes following her form with every step she took, and she couldn’t fight the smirk that came to her lips. She walked back to her bed and straddled his lap, sighing contently. “So, to pick up from where we left off..” She started, running a few fingers through the longer hair on top of his head. “How much do you miss me?”

Aaron grinned as she pressed her lips to his, shocks rushing down his spine. When he was with her, he only felt electricity. They had a definite spark. “Hi to you, too,” he mumbled, pressing a kiss to her forehead. After pulling away, he reached for Bubbles and scratched behind her ears, scrunching his nose. “Hi princess,” he greeted, using a voice similar to the one mother’s use to speak to their infants. Suddenly, Eva kissed him again; he silently thanked all of the rom-coms that had provided him with the idea. “You’re the best, but thank you,” he replied, smirking as his eyes followed her figure to the kitchen. 

Wen she returned, he was shocked when she straddled him. His eyebrows raised, and a toothy grin spread across his lips. She took his breath away with everything she did.”You’re so perfect,” the smitten boy whispered, reaching a hand up to caress her cheek.  “I’ve missed you so much that I’d be willing to quit math if I could keep my scholarship...” His honesty was frightening; no girl had ever made him feel the way Eva did.

Evangelina didn’t know what had come over her. While she was extremely bold in other aspects of her life, she was furthest from bold romantically. However, she was thankful for this. The reason she and Aaron worked so well together was that they were both navigating through everything for the first time, together. Brayden had recently left Bridgewood, so she had an entire dorm to herself. Since Aaron apparenly missed her, so much, she figured that the privacy would be a good addition. 

She’d just gotten back from her history class, one that she actually loved, so she was in a great mood. Eva set her back pack down and laid back in her bed, pulling out her phone and texting Aaron, ‘come over, my roommate is gone’. Bubbles jumped up on the bed with her, whining until Eva cuddled her up and rubbed her belly. Aaron had spoiled her way too much, and now she craved attention whenever she could get it.

With competition season right around the corner, Aaron’s math teacher was constantly calling him in to drill and practice; he had to be in “tip-top shape” to beat their rival school, Roosevelt High. Unfortunately, all of the meetings and practices had kept the math genius away from his brown-eyed beauty. Boy, he missed her, and it showed in his artwork. Eva’s face appeared in almost every piece. Even if it was subtly in the background of a crowded area, she was there.

So, when she told him that her roommate wasn’t home, Aaron raced over to her dorm. Even if they were only alone for a few moments, he’d be satisfied. On his way, he picked up a pint of her favorite ice cream, remembering that nice gestures always helped the nice guys win the girls in movies. Soon, he was at her door, and his heart was racing. Without knocking, he entered, only to find his woman and his dog cuddled in the bed. He set down the ice cream and piled on top of them, kissing Eva’s nose. “Hello gorgeous.”

Evangelina couldn’t believe it when she’d gotten the call. Aaron had seemed distraught, to say the least. Eva, on the other hand, was happy that she could finally help him with something. He was always teaching her new and exciting things, and here she was, getting the chance to return the favor. ‘meet me at the gym in five xox’ she quickly texted him, tossing her phone over to her bed while she got changed into workout clothing. She packed a bag with a few waters before grabbing her phone and heading out the door. It was at an odd hour for the athletic community of Bridgewood, as most of them trained in the morning, so she wasn’t surprised to see an empty gym when she got there. Eva laced up her shoes and waited for Aaron, excited to see what the night was made of. 

Aaron never thought that a fitness test, of all things, would cause his downfall. Honestly, he never even thought that it’d be a factor. What school requires students to pass a fitness test? I mean, Aaron had already won them a trophy at a national math competition... What more could they ask for? Still, despite all the complaining, he knew that he needed to pass. So, he called up the only person that wouldn’t judge him for needing practice, Eva. She replied to his text with ‘meet me at the gym in five xox,’ and although he loved the end, he wasn’t too happy with the first part of her response. He couldn’t bail on her though, so he pulled on a pair of shorts and a t-shirt from a math camp he’d gone to as a freshmen and headed over to Bridgewood’s twenty-four hour gym, deciding to jog there as a warm up. When he arrived, Eva was already there. He walked over, kind of panting, and greeted her with a kiss. “Hi, babe,” he greeted. “Thanks for agreeing to help me.”
