Chief Cutter has a rival! His name is Sergeant First Class Leathers. This is my first time incorporating a different military branch, and it’s safe to say that it won’t be my last.

This was an extensive walk cycle.

I really wanted to do a little animation featuring Ricky from Trailer Park Boys. I don’t do very much fan art, but after watching the latest season I just became motivated. I love Ricky so much. I love all the boys though. Maybe when I get a chance I will do an animation featuring Julian or Bubbles! I really wanted to color this and add a smoke effect to Ricky’s cigarette. But...I need to venture into other projects, and I’ve already spent way too much time on this. Hope you guys like! It was great practice.

HM3 Squints run cycle! Animating this in 3/4 view was hard, but very good practice. I had a lot of fun with this animation :)

I’ll try not to let this keep me down.

Well, I didn’t make it into the semi-finalists for the Nickelodeon Artist Program. And while I am quite disappointed, I already knew it was gonna be a long shot to make it when I’m running against all these other great artists. My biggest fault is that I can be very unconfident and critical of my own work. I am just going to take this as a good experience if anything else. It was a fun project and it was something that I had been wanting to do for a while. I’m at least very proud of myself that I got it done and sent in and tried my best on it. There will always be more opportunities.

These were the final drawings to go into my portfolio for the Nickelodeon Artist Program. I tried to choose poses that fit the character’s personalities. I left them in a sketchy look because I thought it would look kinda cool.

Chief Cutter Character Turn-Around. This is my final model sheet for the Nickelodeon Artist Program. I had a lot of fun doing these and it was great practice. I really love how well Chief came out, particularly since he is the hardest to draw.
