I mostly write fanfic and post snippets into my progress on my novel universe and ofc geek out about my favorite crack ship (hijack). Heyo, I'm Archivist 14. You can call me Michelle (not my real name), Arch, Archi, and Vi. I'm a chronically online almost 20 year old bisexual in college, socially anxious fanfic writer and wannabe author. I go by she/her, will answer to they tho. I'm super tired at all times. And unfortunately English is my first language.

(sorry if any of this sounds too stiff, I'm really tired, not feeling well, and trying to make this sound as professional as possible. Also I suck at spelling. No I can't help it).

The Archivist 14/Michelle persona is based off my oc Michelle Madden-Robertson (The Archivist (014)) and she's from my novel series that's in development known as "Project Gods and Magic" or "The Mysteries of Leroi Falls", you can learn more about that if you follow @the-archivist-6 where my actual original writing remains. However this blog is mostly for fandom and fanfic and shit posts.

My main fandoms I'm in/requently visit is: Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons (written for), Stranger Things (written for), The Amazing Digital Circus, Gravity Falls/The Owl House/Amphibia, Kpop demon hunters, Bloodmary (kinda you'll see), Marvel (first fandom, not a marvel fan boy), Star Wars (same thing, not a fan boy still) and the Magnus Archives (obviously, Jon Sims literally inspired my name in some ways).

My main philosophy is "Ship and Let Ship." I don't care what you ship period. All that I ask is that you are respectful towards people and myself. Ofc I have preferences when it comes to content that I consume but it doesn't fully matter to me who ships what or who. And if people want to ship the craziest combos on the planet, be my guest! It’s not hurting anyone or anything! Either scroll past or filter out the tags. This being said: I hate ship wars. I have gotten into them and personally I feel like I'm too old for them. So pls apply ship and let ship and we shall all have a brilliant time.

Active bullying will not be tolerated and will lead to either blockage or reporting, any of the bad phobias or isms or phillas will not be tolerated here (homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, racism, sexism, pedophilla and I’m sure more but idk rn).

I'm a multishipper but my main ships are (not ranked in any particular order):

Hijack, Heathstrid, Unknighted Dream, Polytrix, Lumax, BYLERRRRR (sorry about that), henderhop, queer platonic elmax (my babiessssss), ronance, stonathan, lumity, Rain and Eda (I can't remember their ship name to save my life), Bloodmary (both queer platonic and romantic I do not descriminate bc they're both not mutually exculsive. I haven't seen either movie so I don't talk about this much than gush about the art), and Vigcup. (I will actively add more as the brain worms invade).

I reblog stuff on my second account archivist-reblogs but I don't suggest you follow that bc I'm very loosey-goosey on the tags unless they need active warning with stuff that could be triggering. It's basically just a endless scroll of my interests lol. I also have a different account about positive affirmations as well.

Anyway- onto fics. I will be adding more as we go along but right now these are the fics that I have currently released. Note: a lot of them are not done. Unfortunately I am not a fountain of limitless energy and I move onto different projects when the going gets tough. I will update them I promise, I just can't fully dedicate myself to finishing these fics that I love *right now*. But I love them and they will get done. It just might take a bit.

Stranger Things:

As Above, So Below- Stranger Things Rewrite starting from season 1. The plot follows Hopper, Joyce, Johnathan, Nancy, Robin, Mike, Lucas, Dustin, Max, and El as they look for Will Byers are he disappears. There is a-

Huh? That's funny, we must've lost signal. Weird. Anyway, there a lot of changes made to the story that I promise come up and are meant to be meaningful changes. Such as Will and El being siblings from the jump, Max being there from the start, and Holly being older than she is in the show. Obviously there's more but I'm not gonna spoil it all for you lol.

Rotbtd/hijack fics:

Where the Sky Ends- Hiccup, Astrid, Raps, Merida, and Varian (from the tangled the series show) get thrown into the future (2016 for these purposes) and Jack has to keep them from fully blowing their cover. Currently on hiatus because the author is a dumbass who overthought herself into a break from the fic and almost thought about rewriting the fic all together. Is coming back soon, chapter 12 is half way done.

I'll Swim and Sail on Savage Seas- Hijack Little Mermaid au with pirates, weremermaids, and cues from the original little mermaid book. Idk when this'll be finished, but the prolouge is something I'm really proud of.

Scrodinger's Quill- A massive discussion about Avengers: Infinity War with domestic fluff, hijack moving in together, and also Raps gets her dream home and deserves everything good in the world. I will expand on this but idk when.

Happy Little Accidents- Hiccup crashes a mermaid auction where someone (Jack) was about to be sold. I might update this one once college is over, (in like- 2 weeks).

How to Snoop Through Your Friend's Terror Mail- Hiccup has *anxiety* while Jack is hiding in the ceiling. Also Heathstrid is here. Part of a non linear story about Jack and Hiccup I will finish eventually.

You Drew Scars Around My Scars- starts at bittersweet fluff turns into heavy angst, currently unfinished for the time being bc I couldn't bare to bring myself to write part 2 yet.

By the Lakeside- First attempt of horror that I did after a nervous breakdown but basically Hiccup is an *idiot* and Jack is *cursed*, what else is new?

To Be Free and To Be Seen- Hijack miraculous au where it's a take on miraculous origins. Hiccup is a vigilante super hero, Jack is a model under heavy scrunity trying to forge a life for himself, can I make it anymore obvious? Superheroes are my thing and I will *eventually* make a sequel to this but it is complete. (pls read it, I didn't sleep for a month bc of it).

White Physician Sues ‘Find A Black Doctor’ Directory For Alleged Racial Discrimination

Backed by a conservative legal group, a white doctor is suing “Find A Black Doctor” for allegedly discriminating against non-Black physician

A white doctor based in Colorado has teamed up with a conservative legal group to sue the online directory, “Find A Black Doctor,” for allegedly discriminating against physicians based on their race. The lawsuit was filed May 19 in a Manhattan federal court by dermatologist Dr. Travis Morrell and Do No Harm, an organization founded in 2022 that publicly condemns DEI. The complaint accuses the directory of excluding non-Black physicians by restricting eligibility to “Black physicians and dentists in active clinical practice.” The suit also alleges that the online platform “robs” non-Black physicians of “advertising exposure” and promotes “racial concordance,” the notion that patients receive better care from doctors of the same race. “Find A Black Doctor indefensibly robs some physicians of valuable advertising exposure and deprives patients of the opportunity to discover capable providers without regard to race,” reads a statement from a Do No Harm rep in a press release. According to the complaint, Morrell, a double board-certified physician and member of Do No Harm, says he applied to join the directory on Dec. 23, 2025. However, he didn’t receive a response and followed up by email months later, but was met with silence. The suit, which targets the website and its founder, claims Morrell’s application was “constructively rejected because he is white.” “Do No Harm and Dr. Morrell are entitled to relief,” reads the legal complaint.

Physician-patient race-match reduces patient mortality

This paper assesses the impacts of physician-patient race-match, especially Black patients paired with Black physicians, on patient mortality. We draw on administrative data from Florida, linking hospital encounters from mid-2011 through 2014 to information from the Florida Physician Workforce Survey. Focusing on uninsured patients experiencing unscheduled hospital admissions who are conditionally randomly assigned to physicians, we find that physician-patient race-match for Black patients reduces the likelihood of within-hospital mortality by 0.28 percentage points, a 27% reduction relative to the overall mortality rate. An alternative identification strategy relying on instrumental variables provides a similar finding.

Black Representation in the Primary Care Physician Workforce and Its Association With Population Life Expectancy and Mortality Rates in the US

In this cohort study of survival outcomes for 1618 US counties, Black PCPs operated in less than half of all counties during each of 3 time points assessed (2009, 2014, and 2019). On average, every 10-percent increase in county-level Black PCP representation was associated with 31-day higher age-standardized life expectancy among Black individuals. Higher Black PCP representation levels were also associated with lower all-cause mortality rates among Black individuals and with reduced mortality rate disparities between Black and White individuals.

I’m not stupid. I understood that just fine. Hell, my kids would have understood that just fine. But no one bothered to tell us.

i did know this before having kids (i have six). we have a kid that's needed multiple procedures requiring anesthesia. and every single time, i am asked multiple times if i'm sure he was not given any food or water after a certain point.

every single time i have had to say, "i understand that if he had food or water, he could aspirate it into his lungs under anesthesia. i am not lying to you." THEN someone would make a little note and i would stop being repeatedly asked.

not a single time was that risk explained to me. the only reason it came up was because i already knew. i still don't understand why it isn't standard pre-op counseling or pre-op check information, when me as a parent acknowledging the actual risk also put THE MEDICAL STAFF at ease because i conveyed that i had informed understanding as reason to not lie about giving my kid food.

"maybe some people will get nervous and refuse surgery" okay so they need more counseling about risks and anxiety, not less information in a way that actually does endanger their child or themselves!

One thing about my writing process is that I cannot focus on one project at a time. So if you see an experimental fic that only has one chapter that hasn't been updated in a while, don't frieght. I have not abanonded it, I'm simply tired.
