To Fall
The view from atop the Great Barrier mountains was astounding to say the least. Reddish pink hues of color danced over many of the clouds this morning as the sun began to rise. Frost covered my climbing gear and I could see my own breath at this altitude. Soon these peaks would be covered in a fog as the first rays of light hit the snowcapped areas just above me.
It has been a tough and rigorous journey, but has been well worth it. Beyond the physical exercise which is always good for any of us champions, I really just needed to clear my head. I assume my new casino is doing well enough. As long as Ren doesn't eat my customers, and the rest can keep from fighting in my establishment, I should have nothing to worry about.
Nearly to the top, frozen and battered by the elements, mentally at odds with myself, and this view was worth it. Even Noxus doesn't look so bad from here. A little dot on the horizon, and no assassins after me at the moment. I will have to admit, they have been sending fewer and fewer to try and kill me. Maybe they have temporarily given up till they can find a more skilled killer.
When I'm done today I definitely need to find something or someone to occupy my time. I have become rather bored of late. Dangling by a rope Sivir gently swayed in the wind as the Sun finally broke upon the horizon shining those first beautiful rays of warmth upon this world. ~crack~
"OH SHITTTTTTTTT", she yelled as her climbing gear came lose from the ice that had split. On pure instinct Sivir began to teleport, but clearly not thinking straight she was at a loss as to where she would end up. Her Demacian home, her small ranch in Piltover, the institutes dorm room.... Or maybe somewhere else entirely....
