Syla is often outclassed by other lamia in terms of serpentine ability. They have longer, stronger tails and powerful, dominating eyes that can ensnare their prize like it's nothing. As jealous as she is of these powers (and a little turned on by the thought of succumbing to them herself), Syla still believes she can go tail-to-tail and meet them where they are, and pushes herself to use her abilities to their greatest potential.
Mostly, her powers have put her close on the path to ensnaring her prey's mind, but never quite truly successful. That is, until today...
"That's it, Chelsea," the yellow-tailed lamia soothed, "Just relax and get lost in my eyes."
"Lost in your... wha...?"
Syla giggled at the confused look on the young woman's face before her. She'd managed to catch Chelsea off-guard at the perfect time on a stroll along the beach, noticing her sunbathing not too far from the tree line. With a few subtle glimpses of her eyes, she'd caught her attention and led her astray to a nearby tree, revealing her great tail and drawing her up into the canopy with a well-placed coil wrapped around her legs.
"You may or may not notice how comfortable you feel as my tail wraps around your legs," Syla beamed, hanging upside-down before the beauty before her gaze. "That's fine. That's good, actually. Focus on your legs, and tell me what you might feel."
Chelsea gaped, trying to parse together a coherent thought amid the bliss of Syla's swirling eyes. Something heavy wrapped around her legs, thick and pliant, pinning her calves together as it crept up toward her thighs.
A gasp burst from Chelsea's lips as something slithered between her thighs, pawing at her groin and pulling at her bikini bottom. A wave of cool, fresh air tickled at her sensitivities, and she felt herself squirm at the feeling.
"Good?" Syla asked, knowingly, "Does it feel good?"
"S-so... goooooood..." Chelsea moaned, feeling the tip of that slithering sensation tickle between her legs.
"Good~"
Syla's tail pulled at the bikini bottom and snapped it away from the prize in her coils. She was so very, very tempted to ask Chelsea if she could indulge herself on the beauty between her legs, but she couldn't. Not yet. Not when she still had so much further to drop under her enchanting gaze.
The golden length of scale and muscle firmed up as it slithered up and around Chelsea's leg, playfully squeezing at her thigh before circling over her hips and kneading against her bosom. She stirred, hand pushing at the tail holding her close. Something in her mind told her it was starting to get a bit too much. That she needed some space to stretch, to breathe, to-
Her thoughts paused momentarily as that golden yellow tail tugged at her bikini top and freed her bosom. She felt like she could breathe again, like a great weight had been lifted from her chest... though she didn't realize just how much 'weight' would be encompassing her soon enough.
The lamia's tail continued to caress her tail around Chelsea's body, massaging over her shoulders and kneading against her
Syla turned from Chelsea, blinking away the spirals in her eyes. She wasn't as close to fully dropping beneath her charms as she'd have liked, but she could afford to let her mind stew in her colors for a moment. There were more urgent matters to attend to... like how empty her mouth was feeling.
The lamia smacked her lips as she lowered herself to come face-to-face with Chelsea's bosom, eyeing their supple flesh with a wanton desire of lust and hunger. She didn't just want them in her mouth--she needed them there. Like nothing else in the world.
She crept forth, her jaw widening as she began to unhinge herself to let one fully into her maw. It was all so tempting. So inviting. So... So...
The tip of her tail slapped against her face. Syla shook her head, clearing her thoughts. "Focus," she told herself, "You know what you need to do."
She pulled herself back up to Chelsea's gaze, turning her focus once more to the gorgeous woman in her grasp.
Then again, nothing was keeping her from such an beautiful set of boobs. It wouldn't hurt to give them a lick.
"Just a lick," Syla told herself, "No more. No less."
Her forked tongue darted out of her lips, flicking quickly over one of Chelsea's nipples. There. Simple as that. No need to pay a moment's notice to the way it made a moan stir up from Chelsea's loins and cause her to squirm in her squeezing coils.
"On second thought," she told herself, "A kiss wouldn't hurt either. Just a quick kiss."
So, Syla leaned forward and gave her nipple a kiss.
She darted back. That was that. No more. Focus on Chelsea's mind.

Syla is my Original Character, Adopted from JackMunchy on Bluesky!
Chelsea belongs to ChaoticChel on BlueSky, who drew this wonderful piece!
If you spend a lot of time around Sierra, you might find she can act a bit... different when she gets into a particularly creative mood. She gets intense, intimidating, and above all else... bitey.
Before you even realize it, she'll have you in her coils and her fangs sinked deep into your neck, pumping you full of venom. At first, it simply feels numbing, making your body go limp within her grasp as she cradles you in her squeezing grasp. Nothing feels out of the ordinary. Not yet, at least.
But when her eyes glow with a captivating charm, much different to her usual hypnotic gaze, you feel her very sense of being ripple and pulse to you, piercing through your very being to hijack your body. Your limbs twitch from limp numbness into a stiff, hijacked motions you have no control of. A drooling smile creeps upon your face, matching her own as she motions with her hands to puppeteer you to her whims and desires.
A voice leaves your lips, but not your own. Hers. A high-pitched, cackling giggle of delight at the sight of you fully under her control.
She reaches out to your face, caressing your cheek. You're perfect for her next film. A perfect model for her to puppeteer. A perfect prop for her to place and position. Just perfect~
This was an alternate set of hypnotic eyes from Sierra's Adoption Package that got workshopped out in development. I liked the colors, but the eye pattern didn't feel right for her hypnotic gaze.
But for giving her a more possessive gaze? One that works in combination with a venomous bite that allows her to puppeteer her prey and let her take full control over their body? It's perfect.
Now, this gaze won't affect you unless you have her venom coursing through your veins. Not a deadly scenario by any means, but you won't be feeling anything for a while. So it's best to leave all the "feeling" to her and let her take control. It's much easier for her to bring her vision to life this way.

Keep a watchful eye if you encounter Sierra out in public. This eccentric snake-girl is always on the prowl for her latest muse, and she has quite the eye for talent. If she likes what she sees, you can guarantee that you'll quickly find yourself drawn into her hypnotic gaze, bound to the spot and squeezed senseless until all you can think and all you can feel is her and nothing but her.
Your mind will drift in ecstasy as she riddles your thoughts with her own, filling you with her latest intoxicating ideas until you want nothing more than to help being her films to life. After all, why wouldn't you? She's such a visionary, and her artistic genius has no parallel. She even has the perfect role for you~
Another comm I've been meaning to post, this piece was part of the Adoption Package for Sierra when I picked her up from JackMunchy... almost two years ago.
Here's a quick glimpse into Sierra's own hypnotic eyes. Just don't stare into them for too long--you might not be able to look away from her.

It's all fun and games as a lamia until you run across a snake charmer. Poor Syla can't resist those sweet beats~
I've finally written up a new story after far too long, featuring this wonderful sketch of Syla I got from MallousCallous on BlueSky all the way back in 2024!
Read the Story below the cut!
Syla has been a particularly well-traveled lamia in her search for love, even if she had to hide her true form from wandering eyes. Upon a visit to a far-away land, Syla caught a glimpse of a sizable crowd forming in the street, watching a snake charmer tame a 'rampaging' giant serpent with nothing but her charms and a flute.
Everyone watched in awe of the great beast of pink scales becoming no more than a pet for the young woman, but while Syla had to admit there was something certainly admirable about the display, there was a sense of doubt lingering in her mind over whether any of it was real.
She walked up to the snake charmer to congratulate her. Then again, it wouldn't hurt to try and put on the old 'Syla Charm' on someone as beautiful as her; her long black hair swept down from atop her head, framing her stunning face like it were the only thing worth seeing if you looked up at the night sky. Her pink shirt and white vest adorned her supple figure, exposing her midriff before a long dress enveloped her legs in flowing pink fabric. Golden jewelry was speckled across her figure, shimmering in the afternoon sun in a way that caught the eye of anyone who looked in her direction.
Needless to say, despite her reservations about her 'song and dance,' Syla was transfixed.
"That was a great performance, err...?"
"Lakshmi," the snake charmer smiled, "But I assure you, that was no performance. This unruly serpent would have been a threat to everyone in the street if I hadn't stepped in." She motioned to the great serpent, it's eyes glazed over with pinprick pupils. It seemed lost in thought, with a rather adorable look on its face.
"Sure, but you gotta admit it does seem a bit, well, fake and all. I mean, giant snakes don't magically appear in the street in the blink of an eye. Someone must have planted it beforehand."
The snake charmer grinned, her teeth biting hard into her smile. "Yes, someone with bad intentions must have planned for it to cause havoc. Luckily, I was here to protect everyone."
"True," Syla agreed, "But even then, most snakes are fine if you leave them alone--"
"--If you leave them alone--"
"--and only act out if they feel threatened."
Lakshmi pursed her lips, eyeing up the blonde woman before her. Something about her made Syla feel... uncomfortable. Like there was a great hunger salivating over her, eager to taste a sample before gorging itself on her.
"Do you feel threatened?" the snake charmer asked.
Syla chuckled nervously, though stopped when she saw that the great serpent Lakshmi had charmed under her spell had focused its gaze directly toward her. Syla wasn't sure, but she swore a faint glimmer of pink pulsed within its eyes.
"I-I think I should be going." Syla stammered out, before rushing off. As she pushed her way through the crowded street, she could feel the watchful eyes of Lakshmi and her serpent staring her down, sizing her up like they were looking to make something from her. Or rather, make something of her.
She returned to her hotel; tired, exhausted and unnerved. As soon as she was in her room, she morphed out of her human disguise and back into her lamia form, her long tail sprawling around the room. Syla clutched her chest, feeling a great sense of panic claw from within her. She thought over that snake charmer's words in her head, overcome by that strange sensation they made her feel.
"Do you feel threatened?"
Something about Lakshmi stayed hooked in Syla's mind--she wasn't sure if it was the way she dressed or the great size of the serpent she had tamed or the sweet melody that seemed to echo in her head, but Syla just couldn't get her out of her head. Here was a woman who would more than likely bend Syla to her every whim without a care for her, and despite every scale in her body telling her she was a threat, the sunny lamia felt something else for her. Something more, like the feeling she got whenever she had a lover deep swallowed deep in her tail.
A lover...
She couldn't be the one for her... could she?
Syla shook the thought from her head, and decided to go to bed early that night. Better to sleep these thoughts off than to stay up spiraling over them. She could always figure things out tomorrow.
That night, Syla dreamed. She dreamed of her and Lakshmi. She dreamed of the two of them interwoven together in a mess of scales and fabric. She dreamed of being wrapped around that snake charmer's finger and being bound to every word she said. She dreamed of being a doll for Lakshmi, dressed as she saw fit and to be toyed with as she saw fit. She dreamed of dancing for her, her great river of golden scales flowing and shimmering in the midday sun for her audience. She dreamed of kissing her. She dreamed of wanting her. She dreamed of needing her. She dreamed of her. She dreamed of her. She dreamed of her. She dreamed of-
Syla woke in a sweat, a faint melody on the air whispering to her from the window. She scrambled from her bed, her tail slamming aside everything in her path to the song. She flung the shutters open and leaned out toward the hotel courtyard, where the music seemed to originate from.
And there she was.
Lakshmi.
The snake charmer stood there, alone in the courtyard amidst a small jungle of exotic flora, her mesmeric melody whispering up to Syla above. The tune slithered out to her, ensnaring her in a sensational craving that bound the lamia in place. Syla's eyes glazed over, her mind stilled as the melody spoke but one command to her.
"Come to me~"
Without hesitation--without a second thought for disguising herself as a human once more--Syla lept from the window down to the courtyard below.
A poor decision, really, given she immediately landed in a tree before tumbling down to the floor below.
Syla hit the ground with an uncomfortable thud, her long tail piling up atop her in a great mound of scale and muscle. Lakshmi stifled a giggle at the sight of her, watching as Syla slithered forward toward her, crawling back up to stand before the snake charmer standing alone in the courtyard.
She paused her melody, a raised a hand to Syla's cheek. "I'm afraid I was only planning a private show tonight," she cooed, "though I never realized I was in the presence of a lamia~"
Syla squirmed as Lakshmi graced her with her touch, her forked tongue darting out to taste the air. The aroma surrounding the snake charmer was sweet and honeyed, tinted with a savory flavor that made Syla want to simply envelop her in her coils.
A length of scale slithered its way toward Lakshmi's ankle, only to be stopped in its place as she stepped upon Syla's tail. A yell spurned from within the sunny lamia's throat, her focus returning to her as pain shot up her spine, only to be cut off as the hand gracing her cheek grabbed at her jaw to keep her quiet.
"Nuh-uh-uh," the snake charmer tutted, "You can only touch me when I grant you permission, snake woman. Understood?"
Syla's mind was a mess of emotions; pain, awe, love, and so much more. She could barely think straight.
The foot on her tail pressed down once more. "Am I understood, snake woman?" Lakshmi repeated. Syla nodded her head. "Good, now tell me, do you feel threatened?"
Syla nodded her head once more. Lakshmi's lips twisted into a coy smile.
"Good," she soothed, lifting her foot off Syla's tail, "You should be~"
Before Syla could said anything, a great heap of scaly muscle plummeted upon the sunny lamia and her tail. Great ribbons of pink wove tight around her, binding the lamia in place as the great serpent Lakshmi had charmed earlier that day descended upon Syla. She winced as she felt the massive coils around her tighten, pinning her to the grounds of the courtyard.
"You were right to think our little 'performance' in the street was planned, snake woman. My pet here has been a perfect partner for my act, haven't you, boy?"
The great pink serpent hissed in delight, flicking his tongue at Syla as she struggled within his squeezing grasp. Lakshmi kneeled down next to him, patting his head with approval.
"Good boy~" the snake charmed cooed. Syla gasped as he squeezed her in delight, happy to hear such praise from his mistress. "Now, I had intended to feed you to him for his work today, but now that I know who you are, or rather, what you are, I have a different role in mind for you~"
Syla gasped as she felt the coils around her loosen, only to find herself staring directly into the great serpent's swirling pink eyes. Rosy ribbons of all manner of shades enveloped her gaze, tightening around her thoughts and leaving her mind at the mercy of the snake's charming mistress. Lakshmi knelt down and kissed Syla, before standing and readying her flute once more.
"Don't worry," she soothed, "I think you'll enjoy this just as much as I will~"
... ... ...
Lakshmi's performances had been well-received before, but now with her new pet on display for the crowd to see, the people of the streets were even more infatuated with their city's beloved snake charmer.
Her new pet, of course, was Peela. The snake charmer told many a story of how she'd come to the city, intending to sow secrets and lies among the people in order to ensnare them into her lustful coils, only to be thwarted by the efforts of the snake charmer of the streets. Now, she danced in penance for her arrogance, enthralled by the soothing melody of Lakshmi's flute and bound in the very tail she had intended to bind others to her whims with.
On some days, though, Peela's mind wandered. Wandered to another life that seemed so strange to think about. A life of globe-trotting and adventure in search of love. Only, her name wasn't Peela. It was a strange name she had never heard before. But whenever those ideas came to her, she remembered the mantra her mistress had given her, and forgot all about those troubling thoughts.
Upon my soul
Call me so droll
Insult my tune
Now pay the toll
You took a glance
So take a chance
Life is so dull
Without romance
Forget your goal
There's no loophole
You sway for me
In my control
Fall into trance
Assume your stance
Your caught within
Your own snake-dance
Lavinia cringes at her past life of being a dutiful mermaid princess. She found such a life boring compared to the life foretold before her. Especially when it's allowed her to develop such wonderful powers~
She didn't mean to, of course. She was just having an enjoyable night with Gwendolyn and wasn't watching where her tail was swinging, and the next thing she knew, she had a length of coil covered in drywall.
Gwendolyn always owes cash to someone, somehow. She has a history of borrowing from people when they don't realize it and feigning innocence when they accuse her of stealing from them.
She currently owes a lot of money to her younger sister, Gladys.
