1 – We almost always start with vacuuming and then a strong course of steam cleaning. Removing the solid matter and sending powerful steam into a problem area takes care of a large majority of the problem. (We suggest purchasing an interior detailing package as part of this process.)

2 – After the steam cleaning we generally follow it up with a targeted cleaner and odor neutralizer. This isn’t air freshener. These cleaners were designed to remove odors for professional use. These are the big guns.

3 – Severe odors leave us no choice. After steam cleaning and odor neutralizers we move on to ozone treatment. This technology is one of the most effective tools in the battle against severe odors.

WHAT IS OZONE TREATMENT?

Ozone (03) is a colorless gas that occurs naturally in the environment and is one of the most powerful disinfectants in the world, second only to Fluorine. It is 3,000 times more effective than chlorine in destroying germs, bacteria, and viruses. Ozone is a molecule that consists of three atoms of oxygen, instead of the normal two. When it comes into contact with odor producing bacteria, a natural oxidation processes occurs.

During this process the extra Oxygen atom bonds with the unwanted odor particles rendering them harmless, and leaves behind safe, clean, odorless, pure Oxygen (02).

Either you’re trying to keep the noise out our you’re trying to keep it in. Here’s the basics on how that works, beginning with the materials we use.

SOUND DAMPERS

Dampers are by far the most common type of material used in sound dampening. They are most commonly used throughout a vehicle to control structural related noises. They can also be used in conjunction with a composite to reduce road, engine, and exhaust noise.

SOUND DAMPENING: ABSORBERS

These products literally absorb airborne sound waves. Absorbers are most commonly used on floors and firewalls to reduce road/engine/exhaust noise. The sound waves have to move through the absorber, so the open/closed cell foam will slow its progress, reducing the overall sound level in the process.

COMPOSITE SOUND DAMPENERS

The best results are achieved by using more than one of sound deadening options, so a composite is quite simply a combination of two of the above types into a single easy to install product. Whether you’re looking to take your sound system to the next level or make your classic car quieter on the inside, composite sound dampening is the best option.

Here’s an explanation of what overspray is, and how we handle it to get your vehicle’s shine back.

WHAT IS OVERSPRAY? Contamination and paint overspray are the terms we use to describe any particulate that sits on top of the clear coat of the vehicle. As a result, there is usually a rough and gritty texture on the vehicle’s surface.

Some overspray, like fire soot and chemical fallout, settle very low on the clear coat and will seep into the pores of the finish. This requires a deep polish using our proprietary releasing agents to repair the vehicle. This overspray must be removed before having  paint protection added to your car.

HOW DOES OVERSPRAY HAPPEN?
