reminder: what’s yours will be yours. no need to rush. no need to feel anxious. all good things take time. and when it does come, your heart will be so grateful. give it time. rest your mind. and enjoy the present moments.
The cutest bottle of wine 🍷🙃
wow….. apparently …. people can change ..??……. ?,? and grow?….?!.,, and, wait for it …….,,.,,’ see the error of their ways and mature ???????.¿??.??¿¿ wow what a concept
I love not wearing makeup!! I love coming in from the sun and being able to splash water on my face to cool down!! I love being able to rub my eyes if they’re itchy!! I love seeing my bare face so often that I’m used to it and it looks normal and good!! I love being able to hug people tight without worrying that I’m gonna get foundation on their shirt!! I love being able to just exist without having to be constantly aware of gunk on my face!!
I!! love!! Not!! Wearing!! Makeup!!
It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a positivity post discussing the benefits of not wearing makeup, must attract approximately 7 million apologists for the cosmetics industry all telling you to not be quite so happy that it makes them feel insecure
measuring ur hand against someone else’s is top notch romance
an very dreamy weekend in Quebec 💫 French wine & winter hikes & so many beautiful beams of light.

Years from now, when you look back on this season, you may be surprised at how certain relationships have changed over the years. You might be happy with some of the relationships that evolved in positive ways you were not expecting. You might be grieved or discouraged by others that eventually fell apart. There are so many factors that contribute to the way a relationship can change over the years, and there’s no way you can single handedly control this. However, you can choose to find peace in knowing that through it all, you continued to sow good seeds. You continued to be the one who did not let the shortcomings of others distract you from who were becoming. This does not mean that the actions of others will not affect you, and you should never, ever let anyone walk over you. But just remember this: they do not have any power over your soul or the seeds you choose to sow. They do not control the sun, the rain, the soil, or anything else required for your seeds to spring up from the ground into their bloom. There is still time for you. And one day you will look back and see that your seeds grew in the way they were meant to.

“Find out what makes you kinder, what opens you up and brings out the most loving, generous, and unafraid version of you―and go after those things as if nothing else matters. Because, actually, nothing does.”
— George Saunders (via mishproductions)
“At some point growing stopped being painful and started to become interesting. I’m so curious about the girl punching her way out of me: dirt under her fingernails, lightning in her eyes. St. Jude has never been called upon to save her. She looks like she has smashed into starlight and I am probably in love with her. I have always avoided knowledge of myself, documentation of my growth. I am not accomplished at looking back over myself like a sprawling landscape. There are certain things that I am aware I must have lived through but I don’t remember the emergence of this girl. I couldn’t tell you what circumstances shaped her. Maybe none. Maybe she was just biding her time, like people so often do. I never know what she is going to do next; the hair she will cut off without a moment’s thought, the notes she will leave behind in coffee shops wishing the barista a lovely day. She wants to read everything, know the story of how her parents fell in love, follow the lines of her blood back to the other side of the continent. She holds certain convictions firmly in her hand, like religion: you must always have a fresh bunch of flowers in your bedroom, you must allow yourself to outgrow and depart from certain eras of your life with a gentle sort of ruthlessness, you must learn to recognise important poetry. I follow her rules. I find that I like them. This girl of the earth, with her knowledge of full moons and fists full of survival stories, is going to change everything. ‘Don’t go,’ I tell her. ‘I will follow you anywhere.’”

it is okay to gasp at the sunset every single evening like it is the first sunset you have ever seen. it is okay to take photos of everything you find pretty. it is okay to laugh about something that happened a week ago (it is okay to laugh entirely too much). it is okay to say that the sunlight looks like honey, that the world looks like a dream today. it is okay to memorize poems by heart and recite them to people who make your heart feel warm. it is okay to take this life and weave it golden. don’t let anyone tell you that you are silly or dramatic or stupid. you are beautiful. you have beautiful eyes through which everything sparkles and nothing goes unnoticed and you are so loved for that.
It’s good to appreciate the little things in life. Coffee dates, new books, the sunlight streaming through your window in the early hours of morning, your favorite song playing on the radio, ordering waffles at the diner at 4 in the morning. You don’t have to sit around and wait for the next big life-changing event to happen. The little things are important and they might be the key to living your life happier.
u know that feeling when you’ve just showered, you get in to bed, ur room is clean and tidy and u just feel safe and soft and everything is okay
i’m so in love with domestic sweetness.
cooking dinner with the one you love while they wrap their arms around you. taking quick kiss breaks in between folding fresh laundry. washing each other’s hair in the shower. giggling and rolling around in the fresh sheets you both just finished putting on. dusting while showing off your latest dance moves and having your sweetheart show off their vocals.
it’s so comforting to have someone that you just enjoy making a home with. because chores done with someone you love isn’t such a chore after all.
oh 2018 you were blissful ✨
