If Wonder Woman went to your high school
Would you accept this round warm girl into your life?
yes
hey hey reminder that you can discuss the lack of latino, asian and native representation without throwing black people under the bus or getting mad that we arent basically organizing your movements for you
I dont wanna hear another non black person tell me I'm being to sensitive over hair again. The fact that we need a LAW pass to stop employers discriminating against us because of the hair thay grows out of OUR fucking head, is absurd. It took me two years to find a job that would except me and my natural hairstyles. God only knows how long it takes others.
It's not just a fucking hairstyle
We are not overly sensitive
NO YOU CANT WEAR IT EITHER
Fuck you and this country.
ELLE FANNING The Edit by Net-A-Porter | 2019
What people don’t realize about pregnancy is that it’s incredibly unstable. People miscarry for the strangest reasons, even if they want to carry to term, even with sufficient prenatal care. All sorts of things can cause someone to miscarry in various stages of pregnancy, and those risks are exponentially greater among people with chronic illness and poor people. Taking basic steps to survive, like taxing your body by working long, stressful hours to be able to pay rent, or skipping meals because you can’t afford to eat, can be considered “endangerment of a fetus”.
My mom had three miscarriages...one before me, one between me and my sister, and one after my brother.
All those pregnancies were wanted, very much. She had excellent medical care. She tried very hard to keep them.
And it didn’t matter. A healthy well fed woman lost three pregnancies that were planned and welcomed. Imagine how easy it is for someone who does not have the access to health care and food she did to lose a pregnancy they want very much.
Lesbians, darlings, you’re doing amazing!!! Keep it up!!!
When you’re an archaeologist with a set schedule, sometimes people really get to understand who you are
When I dug in France I always got a croissant at 0520 from the same exact place in Échemines. A week in, they had one lying on the counter for me by the time I walked in. By the second week I got the exact amount I’d pay in hand when I walked in, because they’d reliably have it ready. I made sure to tell the owners that I wasn’t returning on my last day of the dig.
I may mention that every time I ordered in French. On my last day the owners gave me hugs and kindly told me to never speak in French again
They had your order ready so they wouldn’t have to hear you speak French 🤣

I am fairly sure there are other explanatory factors for a dropping life expectancy, such as skyrocketing obesity rates and no one exercising enough. There’s not much evidence that increases in the quantity of working hours is linked to a dropping life expectancy.

ya ever hear of researching shit before you embarrass yourself?
it’s also funny that u would imply that people not getting enough exercise is in no way linked to people working longer hours
This planet literally does not have the resources to sustain a 40 hour work week. Within the next 20 years, before the end of our careers, we MUST transition to LESS THAN 20 HOURS a week if we want to avoid disastrous, irreversible climate change
Also: don’t stigmatize HIV+ individuals because they all have different circumstances and might’ve gotten the virus from a variety of sources (sex, occupational, birth, blood transfusions in other countries).
HIV-related stigma remains a huge barrier to preventing HIV, and is linked to a low level of people testing for HIV.
The bad news is that Trump is cutting America’s spending on HIV year after year. He has taken steps to weaken the Affordable Care Act since coming to power.
I just wanted to add this, if you live in the Phoenix area or Arizona in general I’m sure they can direct you to where you need to go by calling this number.
It’s sad to say these two things, I’ve been in a lot of doctor’s offices and hospitals, and I hardly ever see this sign that is nailed on almost every single wall at the HIV clinic on 1101 N Central Ave. But here it is yall, I hope I helped some of yall in my area.
There’s also PREP which is pre-exposure. Also if someone’s regularly tested and their viral load can’t detect HIV, then they can not transmit the virus! Undetectable=Untransmitable.
