Entrance archway from the Chicago Stock Exchange, Adler and Sullivan, 1894, and demolished 1972. The arch is located behind the Art Institute of Chicago.
The arch today is partially obscured, by being set at a lower level and surrounded by plantings and a wall. It is no longer visible directly from the front.

About 30+ homeless live in the parks and spaces along Lake Shore Drive in the 3 block stretch I walk every day. This particular tent is placed just a few feet from the Drive and it 45+ mph traffic.
