The Everlasting

An Everlasting is mostly depicted as a woman with pure black eyes, and pearly white skin with shapeshifting abilities who dates back to 1000 BC. Some say The Everlasting is a woman witch who lived for thousands of years, others say she is a ghost or a type of skinwalker/monster. However according to some ancient texts, the power of the Everlasting is depicted as a curse created by a woman who made a deal with the Devil to hunt man, but the one that kinda stands out to me describes it as a gift given from God to a woman to protect herself and her family.

At the end of either story, is said that the power of The Everlasting is an ability pasted down from person to person through the generations. An unpopular story, may prove this point for it is said that the last Everlasting to be spotted was actually an English man back in the 1800s, however unfortunately it is stated that he was killed and before the hunter can show anyone the mans body apparently changed back to normal???

Though I myself question this story for other reasons, many do not like this story for The Everlasting is always described as a hauntingly beautiful woman; However, I found the story (despite a little confusing and questionable) interesting for two reasons, one is the very reason as to why so many dislike it, for it is a man, and secondly this gives the idea that the Everlasting ability is actually pasted down from person to person. I definitely lean more towards this theory!

I definitely think it to be true, for as of recently me and my colleague have been informed that there might just be a new Everlasting, spotted by some terrified late night joggers. My partner doesn't believe it, and think it to be the night and their fear getting the best for them, but I shall be investigating the spot later on this evening!

Truly hope to find something tonight!
