The fact that so few of you can conceptualize love completely independent of sex is why you keep ending up in dissatisfying relationships.
To expand on this a little, a lot of you seem to inherently respond to romance with sex. So everytime you see a partner do something romantic your response is “I can’t wait to get on my knees!” Instead of being in that moment and responding to love with love. A lot of you can’t conceptualize romance for the sake of pure romance; instead when something romantic happens you start talking about how much you can’t wait to buss’ it open. Conversely, a lot of you have learned to only perform romantic gestures with the expectation that your partner will buss’ it open. Y’all just don’t seem to be able to understand what a healthy relationship looks like because you can’t separate sex from it.
love and sex should not be transactional!
I like that….. “love and sex should not be transactional”
“I’m speaking to you from my heart. Look, I don’t know if I’m going to have a career after this, but fuck that. Today is about innocent people who were halfway through their process, we don’t know what George Floyd could have achieved, we don’t know what Sandra Bland could have achieved, but today we’re going to make sure that won’t be an alien thought to our young ones. Every black person in here remembered when another person reminded you that you were black. So none of you out there, all those protesters on the other side, protesting against what we want to do, protesting against what we want to try and achieve, burn you, this is so vital. I need you to understand how painful this shit is. I need you to understand how painful it is to be reminded every day that your race means nothing and that isn’t the case anymore, that was never the case anymore.” John Boyega at The Black Lives Matter protest in Hyde Park June 3rd 2020
Four Questions For Science
There are many questions for science. Each new knowledge describes the extant creation and brings greater understanding, the illumination of which reveals new mysteries.
There are four questions where there are insufficient answers and much research theory:
Is there a God?
What happens when we die?
Are we alone in the universe?
What is the nature of the universe?
Is there a God?
There are studies to disprove God, what is certain is that God has not been disproven, however, many features or attributes of God, at least attributed to God, have been shown to be false. Many were dismissed easily, some took more work and were dismissed anyway. What remains is that there is no possibility to disprove God while we work within the confines of time and space, and thereafter a seperate possibility, regardless of the features and attributes that ever are disproven.
Let me provide an example to stand, a description which forbids scientific dismissal. God, a being, from our perspective eternal, uses a particle apparatus on his bench. A particle pops into existence, say a proton, in moments by His observation dissipates. Within said particle is all of the existance of space and time as we exist and with our perspective we see all things as they are. God himself being eternal by comparison certainly know what he has created viz a viz God knows his creation intimately and, for those who believe in the Spirit (i.e. quantum-?), we may know Him. So, God exists. Note this is not necessarily my belief.
What happens when we die?
The question is not so much what happens in a physical sense, it asks on ethos of ψυχή. What is the experience or feeling of and there are many beliefs. Let me put it to you, what if the experience is what we believe the experience will be, provided the conflation is not opposed?
How will scientifically valid data be obtained? We do not presently have instruments able to relatively measure the experience of the psychí outside of the subjective relations of the body, what is communicated.
Are we alone in the universe?
A poor question but one of wonder, a better question is what is our purpose.
Mathematically, it seems implausible that we could be alone. Public data provides no firm public answer proven, yet the search continues. If we are to shift the focus of our question to what is our purpose then, perhaps we will go and find them.
A poorly defined subject, irreducible complexity, provides only one example that I like to reference. The blood clotting example. Even if all of the individual components existed elsewhere, how were they assembled into one functional system? Even a cited example given to show pre-existing components can be assembled to work together providing new function requires assembly to function. It may be better to ask, has life been augmented, how?
What is the nature of the universe?
Astrophysicists consider space, time and the nature of the universe. Have a look at the post “Something to consider.” in a couple of posts time.
Astrophysics
/astrə(ʊ)ˈfɪzɪks/ noun noun: astrophysics
the branch of astronomy concerned with the physical nature of stars and other celestial bodies, and the application of the laws and theories of physics to the interpretation of astronomical observations.

Marie Kondo really isnt fucking around
If anyone is curious what she says directly after this quote:
When one or the other of these thought patterns makes it hard to throw things away, we can’t see what we really need now, at this moment. We aren’t sure what would satisfy us or what we are looking for. As a result, we increase the number of unnecessary possessions, burying ourselves both physically and mentally in superfluous things.
The best way to find out what we really need is to get rid of what we don’t. Quests to faraway places or shopping sprees are no longer necessary. All you have to do is eliminate what you don’t need by confronting each of your possessions properly. The process of facing and selecting our possessions can be quite painful. It forces us to confront our imperfections and inadequacies and the foolish choices we made in the past.
Many times when confronting my past during the tidying process I have been so ashamed. My collection of scented erasers from primary school, the animation-related goods that I collected in junior high school, clothes I bought in high school when I was trying to act grown up but which didn’t suit me at all, handbags I bought even though I didn’t need them just because I liked the look of them in the shop.
The things we own are real. They exist here and now as a result of choices made in the past by no one other than ourselves. It is wrong to ignore them or to discard them indiscriminately as if denying the choices we made. This is why I am against both letting things pile up and dumping things without proper consideration. It is only when we face the things we own one by one and experience the emotions they evoke that we can truly appreciate our relationship with them.
There are three approaches we can take towards our possessions. Face them now, face them sometime, or avoid them until the day we die. The choice is ours. But I personally believe it is far better to face them now. If we acknowledge our attachment to the past and our fears for the future by honestly looking at our possessions, we will be able to see what is really important to us.
This process in turn helps us to identify our values and reduces doubt and confusion when making life decisions. If we can have confidence in our decisions and launch enthusiastically into action without any doubts holding us back, we will be able to achieve much more. In other words, the sooner we confront our possessions the better. If you are going to put your house in order, do it now.
At Target this lady told her son he couldn’t have a Wonder Woman doll because “that’s for girls” and then bought her daughter the same one. It got me thinking about how often I see people bar young boys from appreciating girls/women as protagonists and heroes, and my own experience with it as a kid.
Tokyo at Night by Mateusz Urbanowicz
Mateusz Urbanowicz, also known as Matto, is a Polish artist and illustrator currently based in Tokyo. He originally moved to Japan to study animation and comics and he landed himself a gig at Tokyo-based animation film studio CoMix Wave, where he did backgrounds for, among other things, the film “Your Name.”
In 2017 he left the studio and began working as a freelancer so he could focus on personal projects like Tokyo Storefronts. His latest project is Tokyo at Night, a series of 10 watercolors illustrating the backstreets of Tokyo at night. The 10 illustrations were created along a path from Kudanshita that goes through the neighborhood of Kagurazaka and ends at Waseda.
Building Self-Esteem when you’re Struggling with Depression
1. Get into the habit of challenging your thinking – especially when it falls into the same old repeated, negative patterns.
2. Keep a thankfulness journal – and deliberately look for the good things in your life.
3. Spend time with people who can see your strengths, and who make you feel good about yourself.
