A chicken with different colored eyes would have me worried about Mareks
Never considered that. I've never seen one with different colored eyes before.

A chicken with different colored eyes would have me worried about Mareks

I have to rehome Bee as soon as possible, as he's been bullying my elderly rooster and I don't have the space or resources anymore to keep them separately. If you live in western NY state and would be willing to take him in, or know somebody who can, please message me.
Bee is a 1½ year old (blue laced red) Wyandotte. He's a bit shy and very afraid of being picked up, but he's good company once he's spent enough time with someone to trust them -- he willingly follows me around, eats from my hand, and even sits on my lap occasionally. He has never bitten, not even in self-defense. As long as he's treated well, he's a really sweet boy.
The problem here is that he is young and feisty, so naturally he wants to pick fights with my other rooster -- who is 7 years old and has a deformed foot, so he can't defend himself very well. Bee either needs to live with a bigger flock in a bigger yard, or with no other roosters (or in a bachelor flock) until he settles down naturally with age. I can't provide that for him right now, so his best chance is to live elsewhere.
Please consider signal boosting this post, as this is quite urgent for my flock.
You can also check the Bee tag on my blog for more photos and videos of him!

This looks like one of those transformation photo serious where someone gets a really intense haircut.
The most cursed image of bee that I have
Along the path you encounter a dark, strange, undulating shape, sifting in the soil. Will you interact with it?
May I poke it?
You poke the shape.
The shape rears its head from the earth.
Its a chicken.
The chicken is disgruntled at the action of being roused.
You pet the chicken.
